The Future

Fernando Torres expressed his disappointment at UEFA's imposed sanction on Atlético Madrid this week but it now looks as though El Niño will be receiving the welcome home he deserves as the stadium suspension is postponed.

Originally it was meant to be for two games starting with the Liverpool clash but now after complaints from both clubs, largely about the fact they would have to find a new stadium for next Wednesday, UEFA appear to have backed down.

The news will come as fantastic relief to Liverpool fans who were fearing they would have to change travel plans with the original sanction demanding that the game be played at least 300km from the Spanish capital.

Although there has not yet been an official release from UEFA Spanish daily Marca has spoken to sources from Atlético Madrid and they have confirmed the decision.

It is not yet known for how long the ban will be postponed until or what games it will cover but there are no signs that the overall decision by UEFA itself will change.

Having a fantastic Premier League season with Spurs, just seven games left and I am on top one point away from Liverpool, 2 away from Manchester United. I thought I was out of the title race when I lost to Boro and Newcastle back to back but Liverpool went and lost to Blackburn and Hull and I changed my tactics which produced a thrilling 5-3 win over Portsmouth and a 5-0 over Birmingham, have a match with Liverpool coming up soon and they are going to be high on confidence having just beaten Real at the Champions League Quarter-Final.

Second round of the Champions League with Spurs against Real, already 2-0 down from the first leg I really didn't expect much but the game decided to bring my hopes up with Ledley King of all people getting two goals and Diagne-Faye getting one around the 111th minute. I am jumping about celebrating as the referee awards 3 minutes of added time, on the 93rd Baptista scores a 30 yard piledriver and Real go through.

It was of my favorite FM moments when Rooney netted a hat trick against Reading and then 5 minutes after his third goal Murty decided he had enough and punched him out.

Juande Ramos is fantastic at cup competitions so I expect him to guide Spurs through the group stages, Portsmouth have a tricky group but if Crouch and Defoe are firing like they are at the moment they will go through I hope they do as well because I have a soft spot for them. Villa will make it and they deserve to go far, great manager and exciting players. I reckon Valencia will win the entire competition.

Hull winning was fantastic was doing some school work with the game on as background music turned around to see Geovanni celebrating and my jaw dropped, Arsenal have a knack of getting a last minute equaliser and I was sure Fabregas would get one but the Hull goalkeeper did well.

I remember in the old CM 4 game(where Francis Jeffers was the shit)Arsenal got relegated they got back up two seasons later but they were never really the same again, was shocking to watch that unfold.

I am really enjoying this season with Spurs. The top 4 has not only been broken but completely changed with only Utd still around the other teams battling for it are City,Spurs(me),Everton,Newcastle and Liverpool. Chelsea are fighting for UEFA Cup places with David Villa flopping and only getting around 7-8 goals.

Sitting second with Spurs but have no hope of catching Utd unless they cock up horribly(things are looking up as they lost 3-0 to both Arsenal and Newcastle.)

Why is Everton so overrated in FM07? James Beattie has 30 goals while an average Uruguayan player is dominating the big teams for fun it doesn't make sense at all.

Press R2 and then back to pull it back then push it forward again and if it works you are going to put it through the opposing players legs and go around him, a horrible risk to take in defense or close to your box but fun to diss others when you are leading.
