I won the freakin' Cup with the Islanders. Roloson won the Conn Smythe. I didn't expect to win a series, so I started simming games. I played Game 6 of the Finals vs. Vancouver and won the Cup in Nassau Coliseum! Roloson retired, but it was cool to see him lift the Cup. No Bryz, but I did get Jimmy Howard and Josh Harding. A pretty solid tandem moving forward, and both guys are only 27. My defence got a boost. Eric Johnson improved a ton, and I signed Paul Ranger to add another all around defender. I also added Hal Gill on a one year deal to strengthen my third pair. My defence is: Johnson - Meszaros Ranger - Bergeron Gill - Wisniewski Up front, I only added Jason Arnott on a one year deal to center my second or third line. Tavares and Okposo improved, and Grabner is just filthy. I want to add a left winger, but it is not a pressing issue. With my current team, I expect to improve on my seventh place finish and continue developing my players.

I actually like Aminu at SF. I actually recreated the Baron for Mo deal, except I actually have the Cavs first rounder aftering sending the Randy Foye early in the season.

I remember the guys on PTI shooting down Donald Trump as a potential buyer for the team. Now, even Trump would be an improvement.

Huge win for Toronto. It sucks that in the next two weeks, the Leafs face the Penguins twice, the Blackhawks, and the Flyers twice. In the position they are in now, they need to play better then .600 hockey in the next few weeks. I think the next three games will really determine if the Leafs can actually aim for a playoff spot or not.

Wisniewski's slapshot to tie the game was awesome. Just placed it perfectly. Then, Kessel's pass to set up Bozak to retake the lead was beautifully placed between the Montreal defender's legs. This has been such a chippy game that I have no idea how it will end. As we have seen, both teams are taking turns in the penalty box. It might be the last team to take a penalty losses.

I only started watching when the game started, but I do think Sportsnet is the worst broadcaster of Leafs games right now. I like CBC and I think TSN is the best. Bowen is alright calling the games, but I hate the panel they have on Sportsnet and dislike Greg Millen's commentary. That was an awful period of hockey. Missed calls and poor play from both teams. Lucky for us Leaf fans, Phil is on a hot streak. His snipe on the first game was awesome. I fully expect Montreal to score the next goal since they have been threatening. Halpern putting it off the post was crazy.

I doubt it. Kovalev has been so streaky. His salary, while not enormous, is still hard to fit in for some teams. I could see Pittsburgh being the only team interested in him at all, at the moment. With Malkin out, they had cap space and were willing to roll the dice on him. You never know with Kovy. He could score two one night, then be -2 with no points the next.

I'm not a Bisping fan, but I do not hate him. He is just not a guy that I look forward to seeing.

The Clippers are freeing up a lot of money. Also, Williams has a player option for next year so he doesn't have to stay in LA if he doesn't like playing there.

Leafs and Habs tonight. Reimer in net for TO and Alex Auld is expected for Montreal. He has a nasty habit of playing well against Toronto.

Ha, in NBA 2K11 I had traded for Kaman during the season then signed Melo as a free agent. My team was very strong.

I think the important piece that will help the Knicks finish this season strong is Billups. He will be the one to make sure Anthony and Amare get the ball, and he can score when he needs to.

I like the Reds in the Central, although it will now be very close between them and the Cardinals and Brewers.

I do think this will be a bad deal if the Nets cannot keep Williams, but I think it is a great move if he signs an extension. I think Williams will help Brooks Lopez out a ton.

How much money will the Nets have this off-season to spend on free agents?

Williams is a 20 point, 10 assist guy. He can dominate the game and score at will at times. I think he is as important to a team as Carmelo, and I think this move sets the Nets up to make a playoff run next season.

James Reimer looked great tonight. He is now 9-4-2 with fantastic stats. I hope he has a chance to be our goaltender next season. Even if he puts up average numbers consistently, that would be an improvement for the Leafs. After suffering through Raycroft and Toskala as our starters, it is nice to see a young goaltender playing well over an extended period. Ron Wilson, please let Reimer play the majority of the starts down the stretch. I don't care about playoffs. I just want to see if Reimer is the real deal.

I watched all of the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" films except the remake last week. The first is very creepy. It really is a classic and one of the best in genre. The second film is also good. It is not as creepy but is very interesting. It does a good job of mixing dream and reality. The third film is okay. Freddy is less scary but the movie moves at a good pace and is acted well. Four and five are campy. They are fun movies but they lack the spirit of the first two. Freddy's Dead is awful. In the first hour of the movie, Freddy is more Bugs Bunny and plays everything for laughs. It pissed me off that what Freddy could do and his history changed in this film. The ending sucked. A New Nightmare redeems the franchise. I highly recommend any horror fan to check it out. Wes Craven made this movie before Scream, and you can see some of the elements in this movie in Scream. It is darker then the last three Nightmare movies and feels like a true sequel to the first three films in the franchise.

I want to see who they can put around Anthony and Stoudemire next season.

James Neal will be the most talented winger Crosby has played with since Hossa, and Neal has a more conplimentary skill set to Crosby's. I can see Neal on the powerplay with Crosby and Malkin next season.

Wow. Goligoski is worth a top line power forward with upside in Neal and a good two way defender in Niskanen? It must be a salary related move.

After the playoffs, I am aiming to add a goaltender, a top four defender, and any good forward I can get my hands on. I am probably going to put my first rounder in play. In goal, I am keeping my fingers crossed that Bryzgalov is a UFA.

Now there are rumours of Paul Stastny being available out of Colorado.

I am playing as the Islanders. I traded Streit and a 2nd pick for Erik Johnson, sent DiPietro to Philly for Meszaros, and rode Roloson to 7th in the East. I don't care if I can go further in the playoffs. With Johnson and Tavares, I have a ton of potential and hope going forward. Oh yeah...Grabner scored 46 and will win the Richard Trophy! My defence will be great next season. If I can get a goaltender, I will be a very competitive club.
