I have done worse. I picked put Steve Ott for my playoff run as the Leafs, then sent him away for a 7th round pick. I needed to do it to pick up Parise. I could see the Blackhawks trying to move Campbell in the future. His contract is not a good one for a team pushing the cap.

They can't keep losing forever. I hope the Pirates have a decent year too.

They will develop, but you have to put points into your assistant coach in the GM tracker. Mine is at level 5.

I think the Bills are not going QB this season. They need help everywhere, but especially at their O-Line. Ryan Fitzpatrick is fine for now. This team isn't winning this season anyway.

I have seen Blake Griffin go up by 5 points overall.

I like Klesla. He was drafted to be a scoring two way defender. His offensive game never developed, but he is a good defensive defender who cam hit hard and eat up minutes. Columbus adds Upshall, which is an upgrade. The Jackets are still waiting for Voracek and Filatov to develop, and surrounding them with players like Upshall should help.

Any move involving Robbie Schremp is HUGE!

I remember hearing yesterday that Nashville were offering up Ryan Ellis for Clarkey Mark. That is a really tough deal to turn down.

If you add Weiss, you are adding him for now and next year. I think moving one of the first rounders Burke has picked up would be a good move. Those picks may be more valuable now then at the draft.

Now that Buffalo has added Boyes, Atlanta has added Dvorak, and Catolina has added Stillman, do you think Toronto feels more pressure to make a move?

I think Clarke MacArthur knows that he has found a great spot for himself playing with Grabbo and Kulemin. Even if they cannot sign a contract now, he is a RFA and I think that is the way to go. Go to arbitration, accept the one year deal, and see if Clarkey Mark can put up numbers again. On Weiss, he plays all the tough minutes in Florida. On a team with our top two lines, he would probably see less competition since the Grabbo line seems to attract the most attention. If you think Weiss would be a good fit with Kessel, then you pick up Weiss.

Awful. The Leafs gave it to Atlanta. Now both Atlanta and Toronto are 4 points back.

I signed Parise with my Leafs when I played as them. I also did a one for one swap with Anaheim that blew me away - Kaberle for Getzlaf. I am trying to get a defender to upgrade on Gill or Wizniewski. They are starting to annoy me. I do have Mark Eaton, but I don't like him either. He is only on my team because without him, I would be under the cap.

Leafs lose in shootout, but Carolina also lost so Toronto is now 5 points back.

I'm about 20 games in, and close to the top of the conference because of my defence. I added Dustin Penner by trading away Trent Hunter and a 2nd round pick in 2013. I just need to find out where to fit him in, because I like Moulson on the top line but placing Penner with Arnott might slow my second line down too much. One annoying this is that the Blackhawks refuse to sign Seabrook, but he is a RFA so no one else will sign him either. I already have 50 contracts, so I cannot make a run at him. It is annoying. Setogutchi is in the same spot and is coming off of a 44 goal season, but the Sharks won't sign him for the 3 mil he wants.

I'd rather see Montreal make a crazy run to first place and Toronto take eighth so we could finally get the playoff series betwern the two teams. It's been so long since the two teams have squared off in the playoffs.

It sucks to see the Pistons fall. They gave hope to any team that didn't have that elite guy that, with the right group and good coaching, your team can still win.

I need Detroit and Montreal to win tonight, and of course the Leafs to beat Pittsburgh. Now that they have Kovalev, that should be really easy...right?
