In the run to the finals, Richards had 23 points in 23 games. This year, he had one goal and six assists for 7 points in 11 games. Those are pretty decent numbers.

Riggleman was doing a great job of dealing with key injuries too. I hope he gets another job soon.

I don't understand trading Mike Richards. This guy was the captain of the team. He was the leader. Philly does have an excellent group going forward, but they lost a lot of offensive pop by moving both Richards and Carter. I understand freeing cap space, but they could have moved Versteeg and Carter or Richards. This does set the price if Paul Stastny is available. EDIT - And 9 years for Bryzgalov? He will help them, but that is a lot of years.

Philly has traded Jeff Carter to Columbus for Jakub Voracek and picks. I don't think Carter will be a good fit centering Rick Nash, but this does give Columbus a #1 center and could be a great fit on the powerplay. Philly should be able to afford Bryzgalov now and Voracek is still a good prospect.

The EA Sports NHL series is the reason why I love hockey. NHL 94 on the SNES was my gateway into the sport. The newer games maintain some of the simplicity that the early games had and make the sport easy to understand. And to Gazz...Jam was better on the SNES.

Carl Gunnarson has resigned with Toronto. He will get 1.4 next year and 1.25 the year after. Also, I think Paul Maclean will be a good fit in Ottawa because of his manly moustache!

Its all about patience with that mission. Just take it slow and stick to the walls, and you should be able to deal with the enemies one by one.

I saw 1941. It was pretty funny. Slim Pickins stole the show in his small role. I highly recommend people check it out.

He is not going to play ahead of Phaneuf, Schenn, Aulie or Gunnarson. The Leafs actually have some depth on the back end. With Komisarek also sitting there, the only spot available is the 6th spot. Finger should be in the NHL. He is just too expensive to keep in the press box. Next year, with Kaberle and Beauchemin out of the way, Finger will get regular minutes. This is, of course, if the Leafs do not sign another defenceman.

I find that the Golden State Warriors are a really fun team to play with. Monta Ellis can dominate a game, and Stephen Curry is just a killer shot taker. Plus, they have David Lee who can be a reliable double double machine.

Hopefully, this loss will help the Miami Heat become a more humble team. The Mavericks winning the championship was great. I am not a huge basketball fan, but these NBA Finals were a lot of fun.

Finger would be playing ahead of Lebda if it wasn't for his stupid contract. Maybe Finger will get a chance to be the 6th defender next season.
