Langkow for Stempniak is meh. The signing of JVR long term could work well for Philly. Still not a fan of what they did this off-season, but this signing could work out well.

Is Wes Welker going to be 100% going into this season? He was hurting a lot last season, it seemed. I think he is going to be the key to the Patriots offence.

Growing up, I never watched any sport except for the occasional hockey game. Once I hit 19, I just suddenly enjoyed watching hockey. Now I also watch baseball and MMA with the occasional football game thrown in.

Big Blue Jays Trade. Colby Rasmus is a big upgrade in center, while Travis Snider can now move into the left field spot full time with Rajai Davis getting spot duty in both positions. At only 24, Rasmus will be a big help now and in the future. Moving Dotel and Corey Patterson is typical Anthopoulos, bringing in veterans and allowing them to play, then getting value from them. It is odd to see Jason Frasor traded to Chicago for Mark Teahan. Frasor just recently became the pitcher with the most appearances in team history.

I want to see the whole jersey. The logos seem okay but I would like to see the finished product.

I don't think Carolina has improved at all. Eric Staal is a premier player and having Cam Ward means the Hurricanes are always going to compete for a playoff spot. I am not a fan of their defence, and Kaberle is not going to help them in their own end. Losing Erik Cole this off-season could hurt them, since I don't see them having much offensively after Eric Staal. If Jeff Skinner builds on his previous season and the team is healthy all season, I think Carolina could make the playoffs.

I wouldn't be suprised to hear that Ruki was being sarcastic.

I'll be picking this up on release day. The new trade logic seems like a god send, and the new physics look to be fun. And Vamp, you are not dumb. You cannot at this time edit the amount of games in a season. I like playing full seasons, but a lot of people would like to see them add the option to play a shortened season.

First episode was okay. Disappointed that Will and Boogie were not chosen, but the should still be a fun season.

MPH is right here. Kadri is still young and developing. He shouldn't be expected to do much this year other then adapt to the game at NHL speed and continue to grow. Most Leafs fans do expect him to score 50 and dominate right now. Playing on the third line with sheltered minutes should let him gain confidence, but anything more then 30 pts will be a bonus. Its less about stats and more about his mental development right now.

That would make sense. Lombardi and his contract were the cost to get Franson, but if Lombardi can play, he can be a big help. His speed would make him dangerous on the third line and give us some depth at center.
