I have gotten back into this game, and I am enjoying it more. My Leafs have been fun to play as. Was in 8th for most of the season, but a late winning streak pushed me into 5th. I simmed about 60% of the season, by the way. Somehow my Leafs swept Washington and Buffalo, then lost in seven to Carolina in the Eastern final. The Lightning offered a first and second for Bozak, and the Flames (who won the Cup!) offered me a first and second for Joe Colborne during the season. I took both deals. I had the 15th, 28th and 30th picks. At 15, I got Max Domi! Oh, and someone gave me a second round pick for Komisarek! Then, at the draft, Columbus offered me their 2014 first for Nik Kulemin. I couldn't resist, and Matt Frattin had developed into a good replacement so I took that trade too. I traded Liles to Chicago for Bolland, then picked up Doug Murray from San Jose as a UFA. Going into 2013/14, my team looks strong. Cody Franson and Jake Gardiner are both now awesome two way defenders. Here is my line up. JVR-Bolland-Kessel Lupul-Kadri-MacArthur Condra-Grabbo-Frattin Steckel-McClement-Scott Gardiner-Phaneuf Franson-Gunnarson Kostka-Murray Reimer H. Karlsson

The way I see the Leafs right now, they have great depth at forward and a solid group of defencemen when everyone is healthy and Mike Kostka isn't playing half the game. Plus, Reimer looks like the league average or better goaltender we have needed since the 04/05 lockout. What the Leafs need is a centre who can drive possession for the Kessel line and a top 4 defenceman. I think they should be able find the d-man. Its the centre is hard to find. I think Ryan O'Reilly would be good, but offer sheets are evil.

The scene where Jake Gyllenhaal's character is in the basement of the house was the first scene in a movie to make me uncomfortable (in that good, scary way) in a long time. I love that movie.

I just started reading comics. I am enjoyng All New X-Men, X-Men Legacy, and Uncanny X-Force. Anyone have any suggestions regarding other books to collect? I am going to start Uncanny X-Men when it restarts this month, too.

Draft picks aren't pugnacious enough for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

I had to listen on the radio since I don't have Leafs TV at the moment. I want to see this team with Gardiner and Lupul in the line-up before deciding whether to blow it up or push for a playoff spot. Just getting past the playoff drought would mean alot for the team going forward, I think.

I believe we are all huge New York Yankee fans and we shun anyone who isn't. Right?

In my eyes, Aldo clearly won. I had no doubt about it. His striking was more effective, while Edgar only outstruck Aldo when he picked up the pace in round five.

Not the best event, but it was pretty good. I really disliked Rogan and Goldberg's commentary during the main event, though.

I don't want to alarm anyone but Mike Komisarek has actually been good so far. Not great, and not worth his deal, but good!

Kessel had a great game. Set up JVR and had a ton of great chances. They will start going in soon.

Also, is it possible for Calderon to walk as a free agent then resign with the Raptors?

How does the trade pan out for Toronto? Is Gay going to be that impact guy that they have been missing since Bosh left?

Thor sucks. If I can have a superhero on my hockey team, I want Superman. His slapshot would probably kill, and he could check people through the boards and into the stands.

So Matt Frattin and Kadri are both playing well. Awesome. Now we just need less Mike Kostka on the top defensive pairing.

I think if they want Kadri to be a centre, why not try him on the Kessel line for a game or two and see if there is some chemistry?

I think Kessel and Lupul, with a big centre like Getzlaf, would be an awesome top unit. Bozak is an NHL centre, but I would like to see him on the third line.

If Kessel keeps shooting the way he has, he will score soon.
