I think my game glitches. I signed a player for free, and it said he joined my team when the new season began. He shows up in the contracts, but I can't use him. When I go to his profile, it shows him as on a different team, but gives me the options to loan him out or release him.

I would love to see a 4th line of Ashton-McLement-Komarov, with Orr in the press box and McLaren back with the Marlies.

I think, overall, MLS has the best kits in professional soccer.

I am playing as Wolverhampton, with the goal of getting to the Champions League. It's a rough team that lacks creativity in the middle, but I couldn't find anyone in the first transfer window within my budget. I did buy a 18 year old French striker named Benzia, and I'm hoping he'll develop into a good player as I work my way through League One and the Championship. Any advice on midfielders that might be available in the January transfer window?

I really like McDonagh, but JVR is incredibly valuable to the Leafs. A true top two defender is needed to pair with Dion, though. Gunnarson is a bit out of place against top lines. If the Rangers need a trade partner, they will probably need to look out west.

Oh, nevermind then. I thought they had less room then that. Bolland is back skating in full gear, and hopefully he will be back in 2 weeks or so. I hope Holland isn't the guy to lose his spot though - I would rather see him stay, move Kadri to the wing, and see one of Orr or McLaren sent down.

That's fair. It just seems Stastny is going to be gone after this season because of his contract and Colorado's cap situation.

Toronto FC also signed Michael Bradley from Roma and brought back Dwayne De Rosario, so they should be able to get Defoe that ball in space.

Really though, why not take a page from the Colorado play book and give Dougie a shot? Use the rest of the season as a try out for him, and if the team continues to suck then at least we get a good pick.

Bernier was awful tonight. Gave up 3 terrible goals including a shot from outside the zone, and a turnover after he mishandled the puck. Losses to the Islanders always have a way of biting the Leafs in the ass, but at least the East sucks so a good three or four game stretch will make up for it.

At least now the sports shows can get back to what's important...the Leafs!

Toronto desperately needed a win in that game. The Florida game was truly awful, one of the worst 60 minute performances I have seen from a team in YEARS.

The Torment story Todd McFarlane did in Spider-Man #1-5 is pretty good, and worth checking out.
