Remember to purchase Team Upgrades. Especially the Goalie Coach upgrades, they really can turn an average goalie into amazing. I had Olaf Kolzig rated 99 at home because of the upgrades. Who has this on the PC? I'd be willing to have a game or two online as the Leafs, any day. MSN me at desiredtoe@hotmail.com if your interested.
  2. Hockey's back. My vote is for hockey.
  3. On a semi-related note. I love the Coyotes jerseys.
  4. So, by your logic, real, hardened fans (i.e Canadians and Americans who go to their team's games) should have to put up with shit like losing in a shoot-out after a game that was great. Nice job, there.
  5. I don't care if shootouts are horrible or perfect for solving a tied game. It is exciting for the casual fan (re: American fans) and hopefully can get some more people to watch the game.
  6. Dissapointing finish, Toronto comes back just to lose in another shootout.
  7. I hate Wade Belak. Everyone has a place on the Leafs team except him. A win here would really help the Leafs. Until they win one, I think they will have a huge wait on there shoulders to prove that this new team can win.
  8. YES! This game has been exciting! Domi and Wilm both scored to tie it up at 4! I spoke too soon. 5-4, NIK FUCKING ANTROPOV! Yes!

Yeah, I am starting to get into the groove on difficult. I was down 4 - 1 and then BAM! I scored 4 goals in the last two minutes. You just need to learn what works on offense and defense.
  11. When it comes down to the wire, I root for all the Canadian teams, because I want the Cup in Canada.
  12. It's not that he can't play though, it's more because of his past problems with alcoholism.
  13. If my friends root for the Maple Leafs, then I will just have to cheer on the Canadians.

How long have you been playing? When I first started, I usually threw a lot of interceptions. You need to calm down, and watch more then one receiver. It's tough with Vision and Precision turned on. Now I usually can limit myself to one or two interceptions a game, and sometimes not even throw one. Use really conservative pass routes like slants and curls for short yardage until you can get into a rythym.
  15. Well, thats what I say. 2K6 rosters aren't very updated, they have some people as free agents as they should be, but Hossa is still a Senator and Heatley is still a Thrasher. Unless you have XBox live, because then you can update the rosters.
  16. I'm sorry for failing. I'm going to cry myself to sleep now.

I did a fantasy draft as my created team....the Toronto Legion. Went with a running first policy, got Shaun Alexander, and also got a great run-stopping defense headed by Brian Urlacher. My QB is Bledsoe, but my recieving core was really weak except for Jeremy Shockey. I traded my first pick (as my players are mostly young, and I have JP Losman in case Bledsoe retires) for Lavernus Coles. First game, first offensive play.......PA pass, 76 yard TD to Coles. I beat the Packers, who were led by Bryan Leftwich and Deuce McAllister 56-21.

  19. ... <Captain Picard>You Are Out Of Your Mind!!!!!!!!</Captain Picard> Harry and Bob as you so effectionatly term them are one of the worst announce tandems to ever commentate for a sports game.
  20. What did I say? WHEN HE PLAYED in 2003/04 Lindros looked great. 32 points isn't incredible, but it is pretty good, and I didn't say anything about 02/03. If he is healthy, he will be a huge help to the Leafs, especially if he can play like he did on Thursday. It seems like your jumping all over me today, SeanDMan.
  21. Seriously, if you go for the Sega Sports game, get ESPN NHL 2k5. Rosters aren't that different, and the game is just better presented.
  22. Yea, but that was back when Toronto had depth and talent. This season they have no one to step up. Lindros doesn't have it anymore, 20 goals at most. Allison seems to have forgotten how to shoot. Oh, and O'Neil is hurt too. Regarless of that Toronto's blue line is what will kill them. No matter how you slice it Ottawa will be 1-2-3 and Toronto will be 7-8-9.
