Played some Friday the 13th last night. They've added offline play vs. bots, and fixed a lot of issues regarding framerate and graphics. It runs a lot smoother on console now. Oh - and they added Jason from Part 5 (who isn't really Jason but the kids who play this don't seem to actually know that so whatever...).

That happens to me a lot when I'm a player. I'll have this cool plan in my head, go to roll my attack... and miss completely. It's weird, because when I'm the DM it goes the other way and I seem to roll a lot of 20s.

I'm thinking of picking up the Star Trek Adventures game from Mophidius. Anyone play it or play one of their other games that use the 2D20 system?

I hadn't heard of that before. Just looked it up... and it looks really cool. And it's got rules for starship combat!

Anyone thought of setting up a EWB game through Roll20? Just a thought...

I've been trying to restart my DnD group, but the problem is I'm the only one willing to DM. Is Tomb Of Annihilation any good? I tried running the Out Of The Abyss campaign, but the Underdark setting wasn't too appealing.

It's not nearly as complicated as it seems. I've played a lot of Catan, and I've yet to get bored with it. Anyone try Gloomhaven? A friend bought it, and it's huge. One of the biggest games I've seen. It's like Descent but with a little more depth. We only played the first scenario, but you're supposed to play it as a long campaign.

I want the Jays to get one outfielder. I'm not OK with Carrera being an everyday guy. If they can go Teoscar Hernandez - Pillar - ____________ (like Cain, or maybe Duvall if the price is OK), I'd be OK.

Yelich would make a great Blue Jay, for sure!

It's sad to look at the Marlins. They had good players throughout the line-up, but a below-average rotation. With a good owner, you'd think they'd be going in the opposite direction and looking to bolster that rotation in an effort to challenge to Nationals.

I hate that so much. Fifa has similar menus, but they are much more responsive. I guess it just boils down to the NHL team being a lot smaller then the one working on Fifa every year.

I finally gave up on the franchise this year. Maybe I'll buy it next year if they change things up. As is, I just haven't enjoyed the game as much as I used to 6 or 7 years ago.

I've been cheering for Mike, but I think he may have shot himself in the foot.

When you get a good lobby with decent people, it makes all the difference!

Just bought this on Amazon. I've only seen Dracula - the rest are brand new to me. Excited to (finally) go back and watch the classics.

It helps that I am a big fan of the franchise, so the setting really draws me in. It's straight-up multiplayer only. No bots or anything at this time. And sometimes it's boring when you have to wait for the game to start or end. If you're not a big Friday The 13th fan, I'd only recommend it if you have a few friends to play with. For me, I'm having a blast playing in character. I was using Chad - the spoiled rich brat. So a group of us were in a cabin with Jason inside , and everyone is saying "Let's all gang up on him and then run!". But that's not Chad's move. As soon as Jason smashed through the door, Chad was out the window. I was screaming into my headset "Chad's gotta live - see you suckers!" as I ran into the forest.

Anyone playing the Friday The 13th game on PS4? I just got it, and as a huge fan of the franchise I absolutely love it. It's got some glitches, and a few things are annoying (like being forced to wait for the match to end, so sometimes sitting and doing nothing for 15 minutes if you die early) - but overall, it's just a blast.

So the season started and it was a really fun opening night for Leafs and Blackhawks fans!

I like that Louis Skolnick from Revenge Of The Nerds is part of the cast.
