  1. Herbie Hancock, page 5. Rockit will own your soul.
  2. Duran Duran, David Lee Roth and Dr. Dre on the same page? Holy fuck, this is great.
  3. I have it on my brand-spanking new PSP, and it is awesome. I was blown away by the graphics coming from this, the commentary is great, I like the pitching. It's awesome.
  4. The fact that the first video on the list is pure awesome, and thats just #100, I am in awe of this find. Bravo.
  5. If you think the US coach complaining about referee is funny/stupid, then you don't watch any North American sports. Heck, whenever a team loses a playoff game there coaches always blame the referees!
  6. USA will beat Ghana 99-2. And then the Czech's will win, so Italy doesn't go through.
  7. Is the PSP worth it? It looks cool, but I don't know if it's worth dropping the money on either.
  8. Hockey didn't exist before 2005/06. Wiki Entry for the Sens Read there. The original Senators existed from 1904 - 34 or something, and won 9 Stanley Cups.
  9. New coach for the Canucks! It didn't take them long. And no, it's not who you think.
  10. If Ottawa doesn't keep Spezza, then we should go and find Muckler and kick him in the nuts. I know why he kept Hasek, it goes back to his Buffalo days. And if Hasek stays healthy, then great. But I would be pissed if that signing keeps money away from Spezza. Oh, and if Hasek returns, I would want a 50/50 split of the games between him and Emery, because Emery has proven to be the goods. He could start for the Senators.
  11. I'm sure any of those guys could easily adjust to the wings. I want to see Ottawa in the off-season. I remember how much pressure ownership put on everyone to succeed, so I wonder what is going to happen to them now. I hope they don't go out and dismantle there team, because I think they just were unlucky. The whole Hasek thing was a distraction, and I am really certain that these Senators can do better. I hope they find a way to keep Chara and Redden at least.
  12. I will. As soon as I saw that McCabe was signed while watching Sportscentre, I ran downstairs to my brothers room and yelled to him "THE LEAFS ARE WINNING THE CUP! WOOOOOO!". Actually, from what I saw from the Leafs this season, I think that we saw a team that didn't need to be completely torn apart and rebuilt. We have a bunch of young prospects (2 cracked the line-up full time last year) and with the right tactics, we were extremely good. Just see the last quarter of the season, when we had tons of injuries but managed to get 20 goals from Ponikarovsky and some amazing play from Mats Sundin. Paul Maurice should be able to get a lot more out of Jeff O'Neill then Quinn, and hopefully Maurice learns from the end of this season what to do. We have some problems. Tie Domi is currently eating 1.2 million, and he doesn't do all that much anymore. Belfour will get that much if we DON'T sign him, but that still seems like he will be gone. We need another #1 goaltender (I say we target Martin Biron in Buffalo). But, I think next season we will at least make the playoffs, and if we make a few moves we could be cup contenders. Adding someone like Elias for Sundin to work with, or grabbing some guys for better depth. If we can keep our great powerplay and just play a little better even strength, we are golden.
  13. I could maybe, MAYBE see the Ottawa deal there. But both teams would need some sort of assurance that the other guy would sign with the team they are traded to. I don't see Pittsburgh missing a shot at Jordan Staal, and I don't even understand why St. Louis would trade there first like that.
  14. So....can we start the 2006/07 Hockey Thread now?
  15. Actually, the Canes have been pretty decent with fan support. Whenever they have been good enough to go into the playoffs, they have had decent numbers during the season.
  16. I bet the Togo players are wishing they had boycotted the game after losing 2-0.
  17. No one would have guessed that South Korea would be leading there group right now. If the Swiss beat Togo and then Togo beats France in the next game, the Swiss and Korea will advance.
  18. I am not sure by what you mean. Do you mean groups that are just a drummer and a bass player? If thats what you mean, then check out Death From Above 1979. Even if it isn't what you mean, check them out. "Romantic Rights" is a great song.
  19. I like FIFA. The previous years have been pretty lame, but FIFA 06 is pretty good. It has a more natural flow then previous years, and Manager Mode is fun.
  20. Requiem is very awesome. I got the two guards to the left and one of the far away ones with a headshot, then killed 2 or 3 by just firing. Ran outside to reload, then picked them off easily as they ran out to get me. Ran out of silverballer ammo, so I took a MP7 to finish off the journalist.
  21. Columbus was the first one to have a football only venue. I don't think anyone else has one to themselves. Though DC United once were the only team in RFK. And will be again in a year or two.
  22. I really think that the US team has a really good shot at winning. It's too bad that Italy has not looked that solid and the Czech Republic really could take advantage. I predict the US beating Ghana 2-1. If the Italian team can finally get motivated, and if they can avoid elbowing people in the face, then they will win. But if they play like they did today or against Ghana, they will lose. I will go with the Czech's winning 1-0.
  23. Belak isn't the best enforcer. He just looks goofy, thats all. Edmonton dominated tonight and forced Game 7. Really, I think the Oilers have everything going for them except home ice.
