With a healthy Burnett, the Jays do have one of the top starting rotations. But this is not the year for them to win the division. If they are in the hunt for the Wild Card in late August, then awesome. But next year is the goal for the team.

He had a horrible season in LA, and I always am saddened to see a once great player go out like that. I hope he signs with someone. If he is really going to be in shape at the start of the season, he would be a good guy to have - good for 50 to 60 points, but more importantly a team leader.

Thank goodness for this thread, or I would have forgotten about the show tonight! I can't wait to see Leben vs. Silva. If Leben can win, then he will prove himself in my eyes. He has won some UFC fights, but I am still unsure after seeing him lose twice on the Ultimate Fighter show. Leben beating a big name and big talent like Silva would make him a title contender.

How about he gets Stajan, then I go out and get Wellwood? Coyotes traded Paul Mara and a 3rd rounder in 2007 or 2008 to Boston for Nick Boynton and a 4th round pick in 2007. I don't really care about the trade, Mara has a little more of an offensive game while Boynton has a bit of a harder edge. If I was either team, I would have kept who I had.

World Soccer Winning Eleven 9 for the PSP This game is great. While it lacks depth, and does not have all the licensed teams and players like FIFA, the actual game play is amazing. It feels like real soccer, with the constant pushing and shoving for the ball. Unlike FIFA, you can actually slide tackle cleanly. The graphics are great, considering the limitations of the PSP. I give this game the score 7/10. If it had a career mode like FIFA, it would be a nine. But despite that, I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys soccer games.

They did overpay for those two. Burnett is not a proven ace, he could become one with the Jays but he has not been an ace up to now. The Jays overpayed, but they had to. One, those were the top guys available and the bigger and richer teams were gunning for them as well. Also, you have to pay more, as there are some players who are reluctant to come up to Canada.

Kaberle is not the same kind of defenceman as Pronger. While Kaberle is good on the offense, he is nowhere near as physical as Pronger or as solid a defender. Kaberle's no trade clause only comes into affect after July 1st. That's why they were putting him into the deal now. And giving up Steen or Stajan is retarded in my opinion.

I have never heard of the guy who Toronto drafted. Another benefit to the Raycroft trade is his salary. A capable starter, his salary is only $1.6 mil. I saw on TSN and Sportsnet that getting Raycroft at that price means Toronto is now able to try and get Chris Pronger.

Maguire said Raycroft will be good for the Leafs in an article on TSN.ca. This means Raycroft will bomb, or start hitting people.
