  1. Last season was one of my favorites to watch as a Leafs fan, and we didn't even make the playoffs! I think the changes they implemented in the new CBA definitly improve the game. And Basha, whats wrong with Stajan love? He is a young player with some offensive upside who is useful on the penalty kill.

    Ring the Alarm.

Beyonce looks like she is suffering from uncontrollable spasms at times during the video for "Deja Vu".
  3. CKY - Volume One The first CD that I listened to that I could listen to all the way through without skipping songs, the first CD that didn't get boring after a week (it still isn't boring). CKY just fucking rock, seeing them live is one of my best memories. Plus, listening to CKY got me to enjoy rock in general more, like Metallica and Guns N' Roses.

    NFL 06/07 Talk

The best reason for the Houston Texans to draft Reggie Bush should have been selling tickets. After seeing him in college, everyone wants to go and see him go to work in the NFL. I think Reggie will do a lot of good for the city of New Orleans and help the Saints make a lot of extra money this season. I like David Carr. He has a powerful arm and has a good set of recievers, especially now with Eric Moulds on the team. He has played some great games too, but in a majority of his games against a team with a mediocre defence, Carr was not getting any time to settle and throw. I hope that the Texans line has improved, but I am not holding my breath.

    Madden 2007

I have seen the computer miss a field goal or two on the XBOX 360 version.
  6. I want it, I want it, I want it! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
  7. I was thinking more along the lines of meeting in the Conference Finals, but round one would be cool too.
  8. I have no hatred for the Montreal Canadiens, just a little annoyance for killing Mikeal Tellqvist twice in a row. I really want both Toronto and Montreal to both make the playoffs, because I want to see a Toronto vs. Montreal playoff series. That would be dirty.
  9. I think I am going to make it a mission to go see at least one NHL game live this season. Maybe I will take the train to Montreal and see Toronto vs. Montreal with my Bryan McCabe jersey on at the Bell Centre?
  10. People can slag on Toronto, I don't care. I'll try to argue against it though. I can't really insult your team, CKN. The Senators still look good enough to top the division at least, and probably the conference as well.

    Zach Braff Fans

Zach Braff fans, he was in one episode of Arrested Development. So, yeah.
  12. Exactly. I think Montreal has a chance at going deep if someone can get Alexei Kovalev to play at his best and get Sergei Samsonov to finally break out. I don't know if that is Riberio.
  13. If Riberio does not produce in the range of 20 goals and 60 points this season, Montreal needs to let him go.
  14. Hal Gill, no matter how overrated you think he is, is 100 times better then Aki Berg. Seeing Mike Grier deke him out with the simplest deke ever made me want to throw a brick through my TV in an idiotic effort to hit Berg. CKN, your Senators still look to be one of the most gifted teams offensively. Sure, losing Chara hurts a ton, but I think Ottawa has the pieces to go pretty far. They need to somehow make it work in the playoffs. And the Ducks do have a good shot. They have a ton of young players who showed they could play last season, they now have 2 of the games best defenders at the moment. All they lack right now is scoring depth, as past Selanne all that remains is the younger players who could do really well or show last year was just luck. Getzlaf and Perry are the keys to that teams success, but seeing them win there division is not an insane thought anymore. I think the keys to Toronto winning this year is Andrew Raycroft being steady in net, and Mats Sundin getting ice time. He could have played 5 more minutes a game then he did in the past few years under Quinn. When he did get the ice time, Sundin was golden at the end of the season. Getting him a sniper on the wing may have been nice, but after reading an article in "The Hockey News" about Sundin, I believe that the key is not him passing to a sniper, but having someone passing the puck to him.
  15. Isn't this a plot from an episode of King of the Hill? Yes, yes it is.
  16. JP Dumont signed with the Nashville Predators. Now the Predators have a lot of speed and plenty of goal scorers in a system built almost purely for offence. I would not be surprised if they did well this year. I would have liked to see Dumont in Toronto to be on Sundin's wing, but I knew we were pretty high to the cap as is. Stajan has yet to sign...
  17. How could you not love that guy?
  18. Well, I see everything after Montreal as a toss up. Montreal could slip to 8th, but I know they will make the playoffs. But it's a toss up for the last two spots. I only see the Islanders, Florida and Washington being out of the playoff race early. I am also having some doubts over whether Buffalo will be anywhere near as good as last year, so they could be all over the place. I can't believe how long my post is up there, though.
  19. I just hope that the UFC is smart enough to see that Forrest Griffin is not ready yet and don't stick him in there yet.
  20. Wait wait wait, you've seen the pictures?
  21. Basha, I have to dissagree with your opinion of my beloved Maple Leafs. There is no doubt that we have greatly improved our defence by dropping Berg and Richardson and Khavanov, replacing them with Pavel Kubina and Hal Gill. A healthy year from Carlo Coliacovo and a good showing from Ian White, Jay Harrison, Kronwall or Wozniewski would solidify the last two defence spots. In goal, Andrew Raycroft is a bit of a question mark as he was horrible last year in Boston. But this year he will have an improved defence in front of him and he will be healthy, which he was not last year. He is without a doubt an upgrade from Ed Belfour and if he can return to rookie form, then the Maple Leafs will have a Vezina contender. Now, our forward lines are our only worrying spot. We have some decent prospects coming up, and with Micheal Peca on the team we finally have a line capable of shutting down the oppositions top line. Alexander Steen and Kyle Wellwood had good rookie years and are in positions to get some good ice time, especially Steen. Jeff O'Neill can only improve on what was a dissapointing season last year, and Mats Sundin looked amazing after the Olympic break and will be looking to continue that trend. If the Leafs can play as well as they did last season on the powerplay, and improve even slightly even strength, then they will make the playoffs. Last season was the best for me as a Leafs fan despite missing the playoffs. The battle for the last spot was so exciting, and we only missed it by two points and only missed Montreal by three. I see Toronto finishing around 6th this season. I have no idea what to think about the Canadiens this year. Micheal Ryder is going to score thirty goals, Saku Koivu and Kovalev are good for 60 points. I think you guys have a solid top four in defence, and your goaltending is good whether it is Huet or Aebischer in goal. Samsonov needs to become the top goal scorer he should be. I see Montreal finished in the spot above or below Toronto, I think both teams are even. I hate the Northeast Division, it being so competitive. Don't be surprised to see all 5 teams from the division make the playoffs. EASTERN CONFERENCE 1. Ottawa 2. Carolina 3. Philadelphia 4. Buffalo 5. Toronto 6. Montreal 7. New Jersey 8. Boston ---------- 9. Tampa Bay 10. Pittsburgh 11. Atlanta 12. NY Rangers 13. NY Islanders 14. Florida 15. Washington Green Demon, if Nash stays healthy and Federov can stay of the coke, then the Jackets will improve. They are my favorite team in the Western Conference. Oh, and how can someone predict Ottawa winning the Cup? After they were supposed to be there in 2003/04 and in 2005/06 and missed both times, I have a hard time putting money on them in the playoffs.
  22. COME ON! The greatest character to ever appear on a television screen, without a doubt, is GOB Bluth from Arrested Development. He is a son of a rich real estate tycoon who essentially is still a child despite being an adult. He lives off of the family's money and is a mutha fucking magician. Second place goes to Tobias from Arrested Development, and third place goes to Eric Cartman from South Park.

    Madden 2007

I like Superstar Mode, just don't be any of the gay positions like center. I can't get into Franchise mode, I need to get a shitty enough team and not improve them in the first year to see how decent of a coach and player I am.
