Aubin looked like poo early on, Maurice put Raycroft in and he was absolutely solid. What a big win for the Maple Leafs! Not only did they win and get some offence, but they came from being behind 3-1. That has to be a gigantic boost of confidence.

I saw Protest The Hero last night at the Foundation Night Club in Barrie, and it was one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. They played the whole CD from start to finish, and it was just really awesome and fun. My friends and I then went to the local strip club with them.... Anyone else like Protest The Hero?

Fuck making a choice here, I think both bands are totally awesome. Each have put out some horrible stuff, and each has some amazing stuff that goes beyond being a must hear for rock fans and have become songs that everyone knows.

Next for the Leafs is the Tampa Bay Lightning. Hopefully they bring there spotty goaltending and less then stellar defence with them. I'm going to stop saying "the streak ends now" and instead just say "good luck Leafs".

I think tonight is the night Toronto ends this fucking streak. Toronto visits Detroit, and I think Detroit plays a more open game that really suits the style of play Paul Maurice wants from the team. It's just a matter of motivation.

If your team is quicker and more skilled, then you want to) set your lines to shoot less and aim high, as they will be more patient and only take good shots that have a chance. Having some power forwards (or less skilled guys), set it to shoot often and have them crash the net.

Boston - More Then A Feeling

We didn't lose 8-0, but at least the Thrashers won the game before...against us.

Something has got to give here. Once again our goalie (this time Aubin) plays great all game, and we enter the third with a lead, and once again we fucking collapse. Something has to happen here. We need a shake-up, whether that means a completely new game plan or some sort of roster move, I don't know. Toronto is sending their great start and their playoff hopes down the fucking toilet.

My friend just got this game, and it is probably one of the most fun games I have ever played. He has the first game, so I got to enjoy playing songs like "Killer Queen" and "More Then A Feeling". Great game.

Here we go again... Toronto at Boston is about to start. Toronto needs to just get back to basics and tighten up defensively. If you are set in your own end, then you can force turnovers and start some rushes.

Another reason why the NHL were idiots to sign the TV deal with OLN and not ESPN. I would imagine that if that ESPN held the national TV rights, they would be allowed to show some NHL hockey across Europe.

I think the Leafs realized they had started better then expectations, and then decided they didnt want to look like a decent team and put together this beautiful string of games.

Fucking hell. I know they were outshooting you Leafs, but it's a 2 goal lead going into the third and you have a losing streak to break! How can you fall apart like that? I think three of the goals were from takeaways too. Well, last year we were killed by a massive losing streak, I guess this year its coming early.
