  1. I would like to see the point for an overtime loss or shootout loss eliminated. It has benefitted my team, but I hate that a team gets something from a loss. So what if your team played well enough to keep it tied for three periods? You should be playing for the win.
  2. Toronto loses in overtime and let's the Islanders draw even with them for 9th. The only team Toronto gains ground on with the single point is the Canadiens, who really need to change something.
  3. That Cro Crop fight was pretty awesome too. He just seemed to be stalking his opponent, following him around the ring. Too bad there was no head kick for the highlight reel, but the fight sure was impressive.

    Grammys

The thing that I think is wrong about "Dani California" winning is the whole ripping off a Tom Petty song business.
  5. Toronto's next game against the Islanders tomorrow is really important, as the Islanders are only one point back on the Leafs. Nagy has not lived up to his potential, if you ask me. Maybe he will by finally playing on a good team, but I just don't see him getting any better. The Coyotes are going to be screwed for another year or two by the looks of it.
  6. The fact that Toronto clawed back from a 3-0 deficit to actually tie the game, and take it to overtime, is big. Except for Pittsburgh, all the teams we needed to lose lost last night, so we actually gained a little ground.
  7. After the last game against the Penguins, I can't see the Leafs slacking off at all. I think it should be a very close game.
  8. Yeah, and Colton Orr and Ryan Hollweg were a huge help to the Leafs in that game. Who let's Colton Orr score on them, anyways?
  9. And I get to watch the EXC show because the Fight Network is showing it at 10 on Saturday. Is nice!
  10. I am also in for the league. Random team selection would be ok with me, but I think it would be ok to pick our own teams until we get more people. I want to be the Boston Bruins. As for my Philly game, I won the Stanley Cup. With Niitymaki on the shelf, Esche was amazing and won the William M. Jennings Trophy and the Vezina. Ryan Hollweg was a good pick up from the Rangers, Erik Cole was solid all year for me, and my improved defence allowed only 22 shots per game, roughly.
  11. Despite the loss to Nashville, Toronto's five game road trip led to 4 wins and we are still very close to the 8th playoff spot. We are not too far back from Montreal, either.
  12. 3 points seperate Toronto and Ottawa. The Leafs are only 4 back of Montreal. A win tomorrow in Nashville puts the Leafs in the final playoff spot and tied with Tampa Bay for seventh in points (Tampa has more wins).
  13. I have no clue how to do or set up an online network game. If someone else takes the lead, I can start right away.
  14. I'm game, I just won't be watching the show. Main Card Frank Shamrock vs. Renzo Gracie - Decision Antonio Silva vs. Wesley 'Cabbage' Correira - 2nd round KO David Loiseau vs. Joey Villasenor - 1st round KO KJ Noons vs. Charles Bennett - Decision Gina Carano vs. ??? (I have no idea) - Decision Prelims Seth Kleinbeck vs. Riki Fukuda - Decision Bo Cantrell vs. Tim Persey - Round 2 KO Adriano Periera vs. Javier Vazquez - Decision Mike Pyle vs. Ross Ebanez - Round 1 KO Edson Berto vs. John Shackelford - Round 1 KO
  15. What league? And your saying Jody Shelley has no value? For shame.
  16. I tried to get Brian Rolston or Trent Hunter at the deadline, but neither team was willing to take the deal when I was offering Jody Shelley and draft picks.
  17. I could never stand to dump that many first round picks. My team now sits in second in the east, I have the most depth in the league with players like RJ Umberger and Denis Gauthier sitting out games. It's mid January, and I really don't see myself making anymore moves. Robert Esche has suddenly become fantastic, being named the defensive player of the week a couple times. He already has 4 shutouts!

    Rush Hour 3

As an action comedy film, Rush Hour has been good. Just entertaining and fun movies to watch.
  19. Toronto and Andrew Raycroft continue to play well, beating the Blues. The bad part though, is that all the teams we are chasing won as well. Toronto remains a point back from Pittsburgh and two from Carolina.
  20. Yup. I took trade. Vermette is playing fourth line duty, while Volchenkov took Jussi Timonen's spot on the last defensive pairing.
  21. The new Old Spice ads are great. They are odd, they capture your attention, they are enjoyable to watch, and they get the message across to the target audience.
