  1. Arghh. I went a long time without saving, and then my game crashed. I have no desire to go back into my Blackhawks game now, so I need suggestions for what team to play as.
  2. Buck Hunter with four players in a bar when everyone is half way drunk is probably the most fun a person can have without breaking a law.

    Test The Nation

I only watch the CBC for Hockey Night In Canada.
  4. LOLZ at Clawson and Basha. The Leafs did what they have done in the last 4 or 5 games, starting really flat and giving up the first goal. It has just been so frustrating to see the team start that way. I think the Canadiens played a better game, and the Leafs were simply lucky this time to get the point. With the point, the Leafs remain in the thick of the playoff hunt, and the Canadiens are now tied. I am now hoping that the last game of the season between the Maple Leafs and Canadiens is for the last playoff spot. That would be an epic game. The fans in the building for last nights game were awesome, and I imagine that would be even bigger if the last playoff spot was on the line. The only ref bitching I am doing right now is that I dislike inconsistancy. When they let them play a very physical game, I get a little frustrated because in other games we would see penalties. Then when they call it tight, it interrupts the flow of the play. I just want some consistant calls.
  5. If you have anything resembling fond, nostalgic memories of Al's stuff, definitely see it. It's definitely more fun if you can go "oh holy shit I remember that song!"
  6. I owned a Wierd Al CD when I was 12. I have never seen him live, but I have always heard great things about his shows, so maybe I should make an effort to actually see him live.
  7. LOLZ AT YOUR POST COUNTZ!

  8. The Leafs just were awful against the Capitals. I think they may have looked past them to tomorrow's game against Montreal. At least Montreal lost, and the Rangers lost in overtime, meaning that Toronto remains in 9th and that they can still move up to 7th with a win tomorrow (depending on what Carolina and the Islanders do).
  9. The deal the Penguins could have had in Kansas City, where I believe they would play in the building for next to nothing, was just too good and it seems almost retarded that the team didn't move when they did not get the Isle of Capri deal.
  10. There was a point during that game when Toronto was down 1-0 or 2-1, Carolina was winning and both New York teams were winning. It looked to be an awful night for Toronto. Now Montreal is in the lead over the Islanders, the Senators came back late to win against the Rangers and Toronto managed to get the two points. If Montreal can hold on to their current two goal lead, Toronto will be one point behind 8th and 7th.
  11. I am hoping that Toronto beats the Lightning tonight, and that the Islanders will lose to the Canadiens. That would be freakin' rad.
  12. The problem is that if Simon's swinging stick had been an inch lower, that could have collapsed Hollweg's throat, and if it was a little higher then Hollweg could be missing his eyes. The hit on Kaberle was a head hit and late, but it was not as awful as someone using a stick as a weapon. Of course, this does not apply to the Emery thing. That shot to the face should have been a longer suspension, in my opinion.
  13. CKY - Infiltrate. Destroy. Rebuild I have listened to it about a gazillion times, and it is still original and awesome and interesting to me.
  14. Also, Micheal Peca skated on his own today and Maurice says his conditioning his still pretty good. That is a good sign, considering how devastating Peca's injury was.
  15. What about the last game? I see no leaf fans made any comments about it.
  16. That is the best feeling victory all year. Against your greatest rivals, going into the third period down by two, the Leafs came out and played with heart. In a very physical game, the Leafs tied it up and then won it in overtime. Tucker is clearly going at full speed, and Wellwood returned and created so many chances, he looked good. The win tonight is a win that can inspire a team to just play much much better.
