Appetite For Destruction - Guns N' Roses Highway To Hell - AC/DC An Answer Can Be Found - CKY Infiltrate.Destroy.Rebuild - CKY The Number of the Beast - Iron Maiden Kill'em All - Metallica Kezia - Protest The Hero For Blood And Empire - Anti-Flag I don't have a lot of full length CDs, I usually only get to hear other stuff through my friends. I'm just too cheap to by CDs on a regular basis.
  2. I don't think I have seen Toronto play such horrible defence. Really, is it that hard to win when you have the lead three times in the third period? This is the third time this season they have had a two goal lead and then lost the game. Raycroft actually played well, he made a lot of huge stops and is the reason (along with Chad Kilger) why Toronto even managed to make it into overtime. Also, Raycroft has earned at least a point in his three starts this year. Next up for Toronto is three home games against Florida, Chicago and Atlanta. A good opportunity for Toronto to erase the poor start and build momentum. I think they can fix the problems they have in their own zone, and I think they are scoring enough goals.
  3. Almost all online reviews of old games on YouTube are the same. Person swears and gets frustrated at the game, calling it crappy.
  4. Blah, we had a two goal lead at one point. Toskala faced over 50 shots and made a lot of saves, but he didn't make the one save that would have kept it tied or a save that could have prevented the 3-1 lead becoming 3-2 or 3-3. Toronto was good on the forecheck, but the powerplay still needs work and the defence really needs to be fixed. I think we need someone not horribly slow that is a stay-at-home type.
  5. Leafs Injury News Kyle Wellwood and Carlo Colaiacovo both skated today and it looks like they could both be back in the line-up by the middle of next week. Considering how Wellwood had been out "indefinitely" and no news was being given on his recovery, this is great news. I just hope this doesn't push Simon Gamache out of the line-up, who added a lot of energy and speed to the team on Thursday. Toskala is the projected starter for tonight's game against Pittsburgh, and Alexei Ponikarovsky will be out of the line-up with his ankle injury.
  6. There is a limit to what you can pay ONE fighter and still keep your cards economically viable. With all the demands Fedor had, I don't think a deal with the UFC was possible. Losing Randy hurts a lot, but I think the UFC had to go in this route. They still have a very strong Light Heavyweight division and some big draws there, and big names in every division it seems.
  7. Basha is saying that we have payed far too much for Toskala, and he is probably right, even if Toskala plays well. That was a horrific game. Toskala made some big stops in the first to keep the Leafs down only by one, but in the second and third the Leafs stopped skating and allowed the Hurricanes to dominate. Cam Ward was solid in goal for them, too. Special teams was the achilles heel again. The powerplay has been weak, and now the penalty kill has been exposed as pretty crappy too. I expect the game against the Islanders to go much better. EDIT - I know some Toronto fans are freaking. It's game four of a 82 game season though, Toronto has the time to fix this and become a playoff team.
  8. To me, Vesa Toskala is a breath of fresh air. I am a Raycroft supporter, and watching Toskala on Saturday and on Thursday was something different for me - a goalie that can make a spectacular save and change the momentum of the game.
  9. Did Stastny just have a five point game, or did I hear something wrong? Either way, the Avalanche spanked the Sharks.
  10. If you have desiredtoe on your XBOX Live and you invite him to a game, it's not always me. My little brother uses my account to play online, so sometimes if you invite desiredtoe to a game, you may be getting my little brother. And my little brother is better then me at Halo online.
  11. Mats Sundin had an amazing in the late stages of the game and overtime, setting up all three of the Leafs final goals. Good to get the first win out of the way, and now the Leafs have 6 of the next 7 games at the ACC. Vesa Toskala has been making some gigantic saves, game-changing saves that we missed with Raycroft. I hope one of two things happens in goal for us - 1. Vesa Toskala continues to play well and becomes the true number one goaltender this season or, 2. Toskala's strong play pushes Raycroft to play just as well and we have two good goaltenders for the season. The shorthanded goal was preventable if the Leafs weren't inept at times in their own zone. For the Habs, Kovalev has actually looked really good. He set up a goal for Kostitsyn and was always moving in the offensive zone, trying to set things up. I don't know how long it will last with him, but the Canadiens need to ride him while he is hot.
  12. Now that I've found my stupid headset, I'm down for some Halo 3 action. I also want to play NHL 08, but I don't know if anyone else here plays it online.
  13. Well, despite the two loses, Toronto can take a lot away from the games. Vesa Toskala looked really good in goal, and I think showed that the preseason was just an abiration for him. Also, Toronto's top line has looked good. The powerplay was awful, and if that can be turned around, then Toronto should be able to win a lot of hockey games. I don't like saying this, but Ottawa is one of the best teams in the NHL right now, so losing a game to them is not a sign of a team being awful.
  14. Toronto's first line looked fantastic, but the defence looked a little pourus and Raycroft let in one stinker. Toronto should have had that game, but failing to score on any of their powerplay chances was just plain bad. Hopefully, the teams can carry the fight they had in this game over to tomorrow's game.
  15. The regular season starts tomorrow (we won't count the sideshow in London), and I am very excited. I think having Toskala and Raycroft pushing each other will really help to better Raycroft, and with Blake on the team, Toronto adds some speed and scoring that was sorely missed last year. If the Leafs steer clear of injury, they should be in the playoffs. Bad omen with Wellwood already going out though.
