I watched it this weekend and thought it was a blast. I highly recommend it. Another movie I checked out this weekend was Pledge Night from 1990. The first half of the movie feels totally different from the second half - and not in a good way. There are plenty of better high school / college slasher movies out their, like Graduation Day or Final Exam.

The Burning. That whole movie is pretty great (except for starting Harvey Weinstein's career in movies) and is worth watching if you like slasher movies. That scene also comes out of nowhere and just hits like a ton of bricks. If you like Savini's work, I'd also recommend The Prowler. It's directed by Joseph Zito before he did Friday The 13th Part 4. It's got a bit of a dream like look to it, and the gore effects are very good.

What a fucking steal for the White Sox. I think I had to pay him more in The Show!

I was just coming here to post that. The trailer looked fantastic. I love the original Candyman, so I'm really interested to see how this one turns out.

Just played BioShock yesterday, and I don't really find the gameplay to be very compelling. I think I'm just not a fan of that style of shooter.

I've said this to a few friends when they've asked me about the show. I'm such a giant Star Trek fan that my opinion doesn't really matter. I'd probably love the show if every episode was just Picard sitting, reading a book, and sipping on tea for an hour.

I really liked the latest episode except...

Yeah, a headhunter Marauder has saved my butt in a lot of missions. It's so satisfying to take out a pristine Atlas or King Crab with one shot to the head.

I thought the first game was OK, but they really need to go to the coach calling the play less. They relied on that gimmick way too much, and it was just noise to me.

Spellweaver has some great stun cards, and getting your lost cards back is awesome.

This might be true. I watched Uncut Gems at home. I didn't really like it and turned it off at about the hour mark. Maybe if I was in a theatre setting and forced to keep going, I would have got past it and enjoyed the movie. Or maybe I was just in the wrong mood for it. Not really sure why I was put off by it.

I always draft by MLB ETA. My franchise is never going to last that long anyways, so I only really want players that can play right away or have high enough potential that I can trade them for superstars.

The first scenario in Gloomhaven is a real pain. The game gets better as you go along.

Anyone have experience playing in the D&D Adventurer's League? Since I'm always the DM for my group, I decided to give this a go so I could play. So far, it's been fun. A few of the other players are a bit annoying (bullying other players or not allowing the less experienced players to have their moments), but I've tried to help keep the games going and give the younger players a chance to shine.

I loved the first episode. I'm excited to see where the series goes from here. Might end up watching the first episode again tonight.

Why idea of Canadiens trading Carey Price is unfounded, ridiculous I've been seeing and hearing this stuff come up, and my main question is - what team wants Carey Price? When he's good, he's one of the best. But his contract is terrible, he's not always at his best, and their are a number of goaltenders on expiring deals that you could get right now if you thought you needed an upgrade. I'd rather take a chance on Robin Lehner, Jaro Halak, or even Corey Crawford.

Yeah. Gives me more time to save up and upgrade my very out-of-date PC.

With Michael Bradley no longer taking up a DP spot, I'm excited to see who Toronto FC add. I'm guessing it's going to be a striker to compliment Jozy up front.

That animated episode was awesome. I think it's probably my favourite of the Short Trek episodes so far.
