  1. MOO III was a piece of total ass. There is micromanagment, then there is throwing so much at you that you want to kill yourself before doing it all.
  2. New Super Mario Bros. is also a little too easy, especially since you can get 12 free lives at a time without out any difficulty.
  3. Why not get Anthony Stewart and Kendal McCardle as well? Maybe draft P.K Subban from Belleville too.
  4. Montreal vs. Philadelphia I see the Canadiens winning this series, although it won't be easy. The Flyers are coming off an emotional series and I think will carry the momentum from the overtime win into the series. The Canadiens are the better team, but the Flyers will probably take the series to six or seven games. Pittsburgh vs. New York I like the Rangers a lot more then I do the Penguins. I think the Rangers have better depth up front and better goaltending with King Henrik in goal. If the young Penguins can continue to roll, they have a chance, but I like the team the Rangers are bringing more. I am picking the Rangers to move on. Detroit vs. Colorado This is my pick for the best series in round two. Colorado may have placed lower then Detroit in the regular season, but they missed a lot of people due to injury and played in a more competitive division. Both teams have have great depth up front and solid defence. Lidstrom is a stud, but Adam Foote is a top level shut down defender come playoff time. I think Osgood and Theodore are equal in terms of goaltending. Hopefully the rivalry comes back with this series - I am picking Colorado in 7 games with Darren McCarty punching out at least one Colorado player. San Jose vs. Dallas I don't think Dallas will be as banged up as San Jose and I think Dallas is just better at everything except scoring goals. I believe that Marty Turco is just as good as Nabokov and I am taking the Dallas Stars to move on. Don't hold me to this, but I am going to go out and call a New York Rangers - Colorado Avalanche final. By saying this, I have probably doomed both teams to being swept.
  5. Shannon Stewart and Matt Stairs are set to share the DH spot with Adam Lind getting a shot to be the left fielder once they get their roster together. Losing Thomas sucks though, because his bobble head day was coming up!
  6. Rich Franklin's escape from the armbar when it looked locked in was pretty amazing.
  7. I am assuming that with Anaheim losing, Selanne and Neidermayer are now going to retire from the NHL.
  8. The code for single button fatalities was a must when I played MK.
  9. Ryan looked fantastic last night closing up the Tigers. And with Ryan still recovering, the Jays need both him and Accardo because they want to keep Ryan out of back to back game situations.
  10. If they took the instigator out, it wouldn't change the fact that you need to watch your spending with the cap in place. Even your enforcers have to be talented players - Wade Belak was Toronto's fighter but was also a servicable defender in a pinch and could put together a good forechecking shift. With a salary cap in place, teams don't have the luxury of going out and signing tough guys who vaguely know how to skate.
  11. So the Sens are done and the Red Wings may actually have to fight their way out of the first round.
  12. Damn Raptors. Why do they have to become really inconsistent now?
  13. Goodbye Dave Nonis! The GM of the Vancouver Canucks, Dave Nonis, is now without a job. He failed over the last two seasons to get some more firepower for his team and that led to them missing the playoffs this season. I don't think Nonis made any bad moves, just not enough of them. Whoever gets the job in Vancouver is stepping into a good situation though - with Luongo in place, you don't need to do a lot, just tweaking. Oh, and Crosby just scored for Ottawa, and I am now cheering for the Senators to come back. Screw the Penguins! Tyler Kennedy just scored, so the Senators need to score twice in the final period or they are as good as done.
  14. I think Jenna Haze is the hottest woman in porn.
  15. I know it's not against the rules, but the way he did it was retarded and imagine how stupid that looks to someone who hasn't watched a lot of hockey. Actually, that looked stupid to someone who has watched a lot of hockey... Anyways, listen to Ron McLean explain it right here - Video of Sean Avery screening with Ron McLean doing commentary.
  16. Has anyone seen the clip of Sean Avery standing in front of Brodeur and looking like an absolute jackass trying to screen Marty?
  17. Buy a Flames jersey and wear it every day. Even if it gets dirty and stained, don't take it off until the Flames are out of the post season.
  18. Oh yeah, I forgot. Super Mario Bros. 3.
  19. Montreal will get a chance to end the series at home. That's why they lost tonight, right? Also, I think I have found a team to cheer for this post season - the Calgary Flames. They came back from an awful start and won the game with Cujo in net and Owen Nolan actually doing something in the playoffs.
  20. We have a Nintendo Wii hooked up in my little brothers room and an Xbox 360 in the living room. Then we have the Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo and N64 which are moved from TV to TV on a regular basis. We also have a Xbox lying around, but the disc drive is damaged and I am too lazy to fix that. My little brother owns a PSP (WHITE DARTH VADER? COLLECTIBLE!), I have a DS and there is a Game Boy Advance that is used by everyone.
  21. I loved the first Fallout games, but Oblivion was a game I couldn't get into. I am still psyched about this though. If they can keep the atmosphere from Fallout and Fallout 2, then this will be the sequel we have all waited for - fuck "Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel" and the crappy PS2 games.
  22. Hughes just threw 39 pitches in the first inning and gave up 3 runs.
  23. Some of them are off quite a bit, but the Joe Sakic/Harry Conick Jr. one is spot on.
  24. I haven't really been able to get into this years playoffs. Don't know why, I'm used to my team not being there by now. I just can't make myself sit down and watch a game. Maybe tonight with Ovie and company taking on the Flyers. Maybe then I'll be able to sit down and watch.
