BJ Ryan blows his first save of this season. Coming off the surgery, he has been really good. He is just a little off with his control - he was issued more walks then I remember him issuing before.

I hate the term "dynasty" now. The Spurs have been a successful team for a long time now. Some might think this is the downward spiral now, and they are going to start being worse and worse, but I am going to bet they still have one or two runs left.

I remember seeing Bourdon in the World Juniors kicking ass. Just sucks that a young guy loses his life, especially such a promising one.

Spokane just broke the Memorial Cup. Also, the new Gatorade commercial has Crosby scoring on Toskala, and that is not cool.

I've never been lucky enough to watch a no-hitter myself, but I have always found the pitching side of the game to be the most interesting part. Lester is a guy I always hear has a ton of potential. I think he will reach that potential. This no-hitter is just a sign of him reaching it.

The fan sitting next to the foul poll slapping it and yelling "it hit here", and there was a white mark where the ball hit!

So it is going to be Detroit vs. Pittsburgh? First time in a couple years that a Canadian team isn't in the finals, and I actually think shows - no one I know is still talking about the Stanley Cup playoffs.

I know EA had a deal with the IIHF once and had the real jerseys in one game, but for a game that doesn't sell a lot, they probably figure it is not worth the cost to get the license. Although they do have the Swedish and Finnish leagues, and those can't be free.... I hope EA makes the dynasty more deep and continues to make the actual gameplay better and better. It is the best playing hockey game right now, it just doesn't match up in franchise mode.

Toronto has been really streaky so far and has not had a ton of hitting, but Matt Stairs is putting together another good season. Also, Scott Rolen has been pretty solid since joining the team.

I've watched Superbad more then 10 times with various people, I watch movies like The Mighty Ducks or Clerks just every few months, and the Star Wars movies all get watched every holiday season.

Peachtree TV is the same channel with branding to make it appeal to the local Atlanta area, and maybe some different baseball coverage.

I hated San Andreas just because how huge it was and I didn't like driving for 10 minutes in the game to go from one area to the other. The addition of the taxi and especially the free taxi service from Roman is awesome and makes the game so much more enjoyable. You don't have to waste a ton of time driving around if you dont want to.

He was thinking of a way to get out of playing game three.

I'd say this is the best sci-fi show made to date...

GameTrailersTV is so not cool. It cuts from the halfway point of chapter one to chapter two! Whats up with that!

I don't see how having Don Cherry on American TV can be a bad thing. Also, I am tired of this whole GM thing with Toronto already. I bet in most other markets the search for a general manager wouldn't be talked about daily on TV, radio and in the papers. It's annoying. Also, Jason Blake is open to the idea of being traded. He doesn't have a no trade clause, but he said he wouldn't be mad or angry if moved. For some reason, I think that if we trade him he is going to go and get 35 goals and we are going to wish we hadn't moved him. He was 5th in the league in shots, and on his career has roughly a 10% shooting percentage. That suggests to me that last season was a down year more then anything.

The Maple Leafs don't need big moves right now, they need patience moving forward. They need to dump some salary, get a young player or two back if they can, and hope for some of their draft picks to develop. That is what Nonis was doing in Vancouver, and he lost his job because he wanted to keep developing his talent instead of giving it away. Isn't that what the Leafs want right now? And if Feaster did come here, I would hope he has learned from the mistake of giving contracts to Richards, St. Louis and Lecavalier for so much money. I thought he did a great job with the Richards deal with Dallas.

Another rumour is that the Tampa Bay sale is done, and that the new owner is going to dump Feaster and Tortorella. The Leafs would then pick them both up as GM and Head Coach because they have the Stanley Cup experience between them. Not my favourite option, but it wouldn't be awful either.

TSN is reporting that Paul Maurice has been fired as head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs. I really liked Paul. I think he got a lot out of a team last season that suffered a lot of injuries and at least had them playing exciting hockey. I hope he can get another coaching job soon.
