Out of all the big summer comedies, this one has been the best. Stepbrothers was a step up over Zohan and the Mike Myers one, but Pineapple Express is just 100 times better. I actually didn't laugh a lot until near the end, but I really enjoyed it.

I did not know that. Cool! So I guess Schenn is staying in the CHL for a little while. If Toronto is going to be as bad as people say next year, there is no need to bring Schenn up.

Spoiler: Click here to viewFor me, Huerta looked the best in the third round when he knew he had to try and hurt Florian. Kenny still got the best of the exchanges, but I think if Huerta had fought at that pace from the start they he could have landed some heavy blows when fatigue set in.

Spoiler: Click here to viewBrock Lesner was very impressive. That punch was amazing, and there was not one point in the fight when Brock was in trouble. Two more fights against good opponents and we might be talking title shot. GSP dominated Fitch. He is totally recovered from the Serra loss and is now being the fighter we all knew he could be. I think BJ Penn will lose.

I have heard that Schenn is already close to being NHL ready, even at his young age. Still, I think we need to give Stralman his place with the Leafs, and with Kubina, Kaberle, McCabe, White and Colaiacovo, I don't see where Schenn could play other then the Marlies. Oh yeah, we have Frogren and Fingers too.

McCabe is one of my favourite Leafs. He got shit on last year, but he has had some fantastic moments in a Leafs uniform. I want him to stay, even if we can get some prospects or picks for him.

I don't see the big deal from the Leafs point of view unless they really don't want him back. Maybe I am just too big of a Sundin fan, but I would give him the no-trade clause.

They should put LeBron James on the cover of Madden and Favre on the cover of NBA Live. That would rock.

Forcing anyone to watch The Condemned is just bad news. My double bill would be the "Classic Slashers", with Halloween followed by Friday The 13th or A Nightmare On Elm Street followed by Black Christmas.

It sounds like the only thing holding Mats back from signing with the Maple Leafs is a no trade clause. Fuck.

Movies on a DVD player?

I don't really know the years movies came out and don't feel like doing any sort of research. I'll just say I have liked Slapshot from the day I was born to now.

Starship Troopers 3: Marauder is 100% better then the second film and actually does some of the things the first film does. I recommend it to anyone that liked Starship Troopers, and you don't need to watch the second film.

I went to go see it tonight...and the theatre was sold out. I have never seen a theatre in my town completely sold out of seats before.

Almost everything in this thread has been excellent, and the above is just a great example. One of my favourite moments is in Batman Forever. I know its super campy, but when Two Face and Riddler are attacking Wayne Manor and Two Face knocks out Bruce Wayne - Two Face wants to murder Wayne to kill Batman, but Riddler stops him and delivers a line that I have always loved: "Doooooon't Kill Him! Then he won't LEARN nothing!" before leaving a clue for Wayne.

Fallout 3 and NHL 09. Ghostbusters was definitly going to be purchased, but now I don't know when that is coming out.

To go to the nearest 7/11 would mean driving an hour each way into and out of Toronto.

I gave up after getting to 50% in 6 hours. I can wait the week or two for the game to be released.
