  1. They need more then a running game. But at least that would be a start. Maybe an offensive line worth something would help that out?
  2. I always assumed "Raise A Little Hell" was about some hockey player somewhere.
  3. I would take some pics if my camera wasnt away with my little brother on a camping trip.
  4. I have an SNES hooked up to my parents Samsung 42 inch plasma TV right now, and I just unplugged the Genesis that was hooked up to my Sony 32 inch LCD TV just because the RF Switch was of poor quality and messed up my digital cable signal. The SNES looks great, the Genesis looked great. I can't help you with the 64 because I haven't hooked it up recently.
  5. That makes sense. I didn't see Litsch throw against the Tigers, but have seen him on some of his good days and bad days.
  6. I'll be getting HoI 3. No, scratch that. My brother will be. He still plays 2 for hours each night and he got it when it came out.
  7. I'd say it can be a little harder, but the learning curve is similar.
  8. I know that Ron Wilson is going to have the team playing a defensive style. I just hope he doesn't mean TRAP.
  9. Alpha Centauri is great. It has a really cool plot to it. It plays a lot like the Civilization games that came before it except you have more options in terms of diplomacy and you also get to create your own units out of the technologies you have researched.
  10. I'm already in the mindset of looking towards next year with the Jays. Is third base Scott Rolen's to lose? He has been good defensively but it looks like he has lost his touch at the plate. I don't know anything about this Bautista guy, but Scutaro has been okay as a replacement and has been a great utility guy for this team. Also, does anyone else see the need to find a new first baseman? Lyle Overbay is patient at the plate, but ever since he hurt his wrist (I think it was his wrist), he hasn't been able to really find his swing. He isn't hitting the doubles the way he used to. Is there anyone the Jays could target in the off season that would give them more offence from first base? As for the DH spot, I am with you guys. Matt Stairs was good last season and has been okay this year, but he is showing his age. Being last in the league in home runs, Toronto needs to add someone who can just flat out smash baseballs. Casey Jansen. Will he be the 5th starter next year? I am comfortable with seeing the rotation looking like Halladay, McGowan and Marcum, but I am still not sold on Litsch.
  11. I like Kulemin, but it's VERY hard to get a read for how someone will play in the NHL based on Russia. Some people play awesome in Russia, scoring a million goals, but can't adapt to the different nature of the game and flounder over here. Sometimes the inverse is true, a player can score a dozen goals across sixty RSL games and then come over and be an NHL superstar. The game is so different from Europe to here. Look at Fabian Brunnstrom. 9 goals in 54 games, he's still considered a surefire NHL forward because of what scouts see in the way he plays, and how that could adapt to the NHL level, despite not leading the league, or even his team, in scoring (on his team, he was fifth in points, tied for seventh in goals). Oh, I already know this. I'm just hoping he can score 15 or 20 if given a shot on a scoring line and powerplay. Everything I hear about Kulemin places him as a third line checking forward who will be able to chip in a good number of goals while filling in on the scoring lines or powerplay when injuries come up. Does anyone know if Jonas Frogren's contract situation has been sorted out yet?
  12. Three Six Mafia, bitches. They won an Academy Award. AN ACADEMY AWARD. And they tell you about it in almost every song.
  13. I think its time for Doug Flutie to make another comeback. I just want some Flutie Flakes, really.
  14. Add Derek Anderson to the list. Frye sucked and he got a shot and it worked.
  15. So, is Adam Lind going to be the full time left fielder next year? He has arguably been the best bat in the line up since Cito was brought in the manage. Also, for next season is Inglett going to get a shot at short stop when Aaron Hill returns? I've missed seeing Hill in the line-up.
  16. WICKED! Spoiler: Click here to viewNot only did a Canadian win in horse thingy, but he used to do cocaine. That is how bad ass Canadian athletes are.
  17. I have noticed the same thing with the QBs, except that my defence seems to tighten up and stop the REALLY important throws, and a lot of them time my defence lets the reciever catch it, then stops them short. Against Jay Cutler though, it was different. He went 20 of 43 with 3 interceptions. Every pass he did complete was for big yards - he got over 300 easily.
  18. I was kidding about Losman. You guys cant have him - he is too sexy for you.
  19. No PS3 here, so I'll wait. Maybe just play some random quick games and get my ass handed to me by a 12 year old...
  20. I know that the Leafs wont be winning the Stanley Cup soon. I just don't think they have to be the world's worst team ever to rebuild. I do think that this season will have some excitement for Leafs fans.
  21. I am tired of Leafs fans constantly saying "Lets suck, lets get Tavares!", jumping on this losing bandwagon as if its the only way to build a contender. You don't need the top pick to become a top team. Look at Alexandre Daigle. He was hyped up a lot and recieved a lot of press and did...nothing. Toronto needs to keep their first round picks and draft smart. Getting Luke Schenn was a start. Jiri Tlusty, Anton Stralman and Nikolai Kulemin are all young players who need time to develop who could become great contributors for this club. Justin Pogge is the goaltender of the future for our team and last year made progress - just look at his AHL numbers from 2006/07 and compare them to last year. To say that this team is aiming for the bottom is misguided. In fact, you can say the Leafs built around their strength in the offseason by adding some more responsible defencemen and checking forwards like Mayers to help Vesa Toskala. With Toskala in goal, I don't see this team finishing last in the NHL or the Eastern Conference. Unlike last season, the Maple Leafs should be solid in their own end. The teams weakness is going to be offensively. If Sundin returns, that will help us there. If not, maybe Steen is ready to take a jump into the 60 point range? Maybe Blake will up his shooting percentage a bit and score 30? You never know when a young talent could break out either. Tlusty doesn't look ready for that yet, but Nikolai Kulemin managed to score plenty of goals in the Russian League. Maybe he will be able to pitch 15 or 20 in his rookie campaign? I really doubt Hagman will score like he did last season without Ribiero or Richards, but he can pitch in some offence to. This team has been an offence by commitee, with only Sundin standing out. I have decided that I am not writing off this Maple Leafs team. Ron Wilson is a smart coach and I think this team will be competing for that final playoff spot just like the last three seasons. Am I insane to believe this?
  22. I once had the game glitch and show my time of possession as 712947392194:40. You guys are making me want to play online. Is there any spots open in your league? If so, how do I join?
  23. I've only once blocked a field goal in Madden. It was in Madden 04, the day I bought it, I jumped up and down celebrating, and then the power went off all over town and my blocked kick was gone forever. My brother makes fun of me to this day for being so bummed about it.
  24. I would have added a sports game like Madden, but I find it hard to just pick one out of the series and we can't pick the series as a whole.
  25. Anyone have any bets? Tim Sylvia? Would he be dumb enough to do it again?
