Mortal Kombat is actually a good movie. Not an epic award winner, but its entertaining and cool. It's a good fighting movie. The second film is bad. Really bad. It's so bad that it goes past "Oh, its so bad its good!". Annihilation is so bad that it is not watchable for me.

Sounds excellent, hopefully they get to release that. They better not charge for it though. And don't expect further patches, theyre already bitching that this is taking time away from 2010 development. Should've thought about that before releasing a beta, amiright? I think maybe they should switch to a two-year model, and release some sort of paid DLC on the in-between years featuring updated rosters, uniforms, stadia etc. I'm sure we'd end up with a far more stable product, and I doubt they'd be much opposition to a small charge for the DLC. They won't change anything with their current release strategy for Madden. The game is a huge money maker and switching to a release every other year would cut into their revenue. Even if they substitute in DLC, it won't make up for the cost, and I am sure a good percentage of Madden gamers are offline players.

I'm still thinking of buying both. Maybe I'll wait for awhile to get 2K9 though. I just think it will probably have a more in depth franchise mode like always.

I haven't had it freeze since I started turning the game off between games. Play one in franchise mode, do all the roster stuff I want, save, turn the XBOX off and on, then go back to my franchise.

I enjoyed Zohan. I think he is suffering from the same thing as Will Ferrell. A lot of people found him funny before, but now they are tired of his style of comedy or tired of seeing him in a lot of movies. I actually thought Chuck & Larry was quality. I have Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore on DVD, and I know that I would buy Wedding Singer or Waterboy if I saw them on sale somewhere. And what about Airheads?

NHL 2K9 demo. It's pretty cool.

I think he should take the surgery. LT will be there next year and so will the Chargers as a strong, contending team. How do the Chargers deal with the loss of Merriman? It's so important in a 3-4 defence to have linebackers on the edges that can rush the QB and drop back into coverage equally as well. Merriman was arguably the best outside linebacker in the league.

Shawn Merrimen is going to get a 4th opinion on his injured knee. The three previous doctors have all said to get surgery which would likely end his season but save his knee.

I didn't like NHL 2K8. It felt too similar to all the previous 2K hockey games and was actual more arcadey then NHL 08 in my opinion. I just downloaded and played the NHL 2K9 demo. Wow and damn, it feels good, plays good, and looks good. I am considering picking it up with NHL 09 when it comes out September 12th. NHL 09 has a sweet new online mode, "Be A Pro" where you start in the AHL and move up playing as yourself, and new defensive skills. So, who is getting what this year?

I was kicking my brothers ass. I was the Saints, he was the Bucs. He has less then 30 yards of offence in the first have, I had picked him off 3 times, and he only scored because of a turnover. BUT he turned it around. Huge pass to Galloway for a TD, my fumble turning into a QB sneak for 6 more, suddenly he is up by 6 with less then 20 seconds left. Cue Reggie Bush. Sub him into the shotgun set and throw it over the middle to him. He catches it, avoids a tackle, and BAM! 81 yard TD throw. I get the extra point and win the game.

With the Bills, I just brutalized Hasselback with 8 interceptions. Ko Simpson had 3.

The Leafs signed defenceman Josef Boumedienne to a 1 year deal. He had some good production for the Hershey Bears in the AHL last year, but he has done nothing at the NHL level. I am pretty sure the reason for this is to give Ron Wilson as many choices as possible in terms of who he can put on the ice next year, and this will add some depth to the Marlies. We have Bryan McCabe, Pavel Kubina, Tomas Kaberle, Ian White, Carlo Colaiacovo, Anton Stralman, Staffan Kronwall, Jeff Finger, Jonas Frogren, and Boumedienne. Plus, they might give Schenn a chance in camp and I wouldn't be surprised if I was forgetting someone else in the Marlies that might have a shot.

I used to have that whole package. Got it for Christmas and I didn't even know anything about the game. It was probably the most memorable gaming experience of my life playing through that. And I definitly needed that strategy guide. And the smelly things in it.

I wish Earthbound was cheap on eBay.

Death Race. It's better then you think. It's very entertaining. Not a smart film by any means, but its a good action movie that will entertain you and make you want to either strap guns to your own car or find a copy of Twisted Metal (I recommend TM: Black) and play the shit out of it. Thumbs up from me!
