NHL: EHM 07 is the newest version. The McCabe to Florida deal is expected to be announced tomorrow at 11 AM ET. Toronto is expected to get Mike Van Ryn back in return. He is 4 years younger and can play the powerplay (although not at McCabe's level). His contract will help the Leafs going into the next offseason. Imagine Toronto signing UFA Marian Gaborik. That would be a huge plus for the rebuilding, suddenly having an offensive star in the line-up. Toronto hasn't had a pure goal scoring forward in a long while.

The stormtroopers weren't redubbed, as far as I can remember. Hmmm, now I will have to rewatch it. The one line I am thinking of is "Look sir, droids!".

Toronto has sent David Eickstein to the DBacks for a pitching prospect.

They are trying to work on a third Mortal Kombat film. It's been in "development hell" for years though. From what I have seen, they are going to do a reboot of the series. That would be a shame since the first one was pretty ace.

Has anyone been brave enough to submit themselves to the torture of this film yet? I might soon. I'll go and see Hamlet 2, and then when its over just go see Disaster Movie for free.

It's not that good of a boxing game once you figure out how easy it is to win. The opponent AI is not very good either and there are clipping issues where head shots land like body shots and stuff. The career mode is good though, I enjoyed the storyline and the FMV segments. Some of the training games were fun too. It is a quick game though and I got a little bit of fun out of it. Once you've played 8 - 10 fights though, the see how repetitive the AI is and you figure out the surefire way to victory.

The deal is done. Meszaros to Tampa Bay for Filip Kuba, Alexandre Picard and a first round pick. Not a bad haul for a player that wasn't going to sign with your team anyways. Kuba will be an alright 5th or 6th defenceman, and a first round pick always has value. Still, I liked Meszaros and think losing him is a blow to the Senators. Honestly, they enter this season looking weaker then they did last year.

I'm not bothered at all by the added digital effects. I know a lot of people that are bothered by them, but they don't bother me at all.

Nothing is official, but it sounds like Andrej Mezsaros may have a big offer sheet in front of him. The team offering him the contract is unknown, but rumours say the deal is long term and in excess of $5 million per season.

Fucking eh. The only downside is that I will be humming that all week.

I was playing as the Bears and won a game with less then 150 yards of combined offence. Scored a rushing TD, recovered a fumble for a field goal, and intercepted Payton Manning and kicked another field goal off of that. I won the game with the score of 13 to 10.

Both NHL 09 and NHL 2K9 will be good. You can't go wrong with either this year.

Yup. Annihilation had the horrible CGI Animalities. The graphics were worse then the first movie, which had decent CGI effects for its time.

Merriman has told the Chargers that he wants to try to play through the injuries.
