Meet The Spartans was a movie that I actually finished. I managed to find one or two jokes funny...although I can't remember them now.

The Islanders aren't moving. The rumours are just a ploy to "scare" the city into helping with a new stadium. I would consider the Islanders safe, and once they get their shit together, a strong hockey franchise.

I loved the original Indy films, and I enjoyed the latest one too. The whole "alien" thing bugged me, but the rest of the film is still Indiana Jones.

Gary Bettman is actually the alien overlord of Jupiter. His true purpose on Earth has yet to be revealed.

Don't worry, everyone craps on the All-Star game. Here is a fun fact - Phoenix will not be getting their full share of revenue this season because they cannot average 14,000 fans. Nashville is about 400 under and are going to buy their own tickets just so they can get their share. There are awesome hockey fans in Nashville and Phoenix. They are just in the minority. The teams have not been marketed well and in some markets, you have to be successful to sell. Nashville has been successful and still can't sell. They can't get significant corporate sponsors and it makes the teams lose money. Some of the economic problems come from the poor TV deal the NHL has. It was the right deal in terms of the money made, but it is such a shitty deal in terms of exposure for all teams. Putting a team in Toronto would be an instant money maker. There are also a bunch of American markets that Gary Bettman would rather see get teams first. Kansas City and Las Vegas are just two options. Oh, and the guy who decides who gets a franchise and stuff...is an American from Queens, New York.

The glitches make it insanely easy for me to win games online. If someone goes for those glitch goals I can hold them to less then 10 shots per game and when they do finally have 1, I've already scored 3 or 4 by pounding the net with shots.

Then why did you say "keep my slim hope alive that Canadians aren't all selfish tossers...." instead of Americans? We support our teams here in Canada. People that don't even go to games or care about the teams buy their merchandise, and I am pretty sure all of the Canadian teams make up more then 50% of league revenue.

I hate that. If you draft him at 7 and he doesn't pan out, then your screwed. But if you wait, your might lose him.

That is pure awesome. I do like that the referee was able to hand out a 2 year penalty for roughing to each of them.
