Pretty big trade here. Pens send Whitney to Ducks for Kunitz + more Whitney has not had a great season, but if he can turn it around will be a great piece for the Ducks for years to come. Kunitz can slide in anywhere on the Ducks line up, from top to bottom. He can be a secondary scorer, a checker, he can play the powerplay. He will be a useful player for them as they try to make the playoffs.

My only worry would be if he is still in game shape, since it has been awhile since he has played a meaningful game.

STFU. It's not just a building, it's the house that Smythe built, somehow getting the funds together during the Great Depression and then getting it finished in only 5 months. So many great memories...not just for the Leafs, but for Canadians like Game 2 of the 1972 Summit Series. The idea of renovating and then maintaining the building for use as a Leafs Museum or the Hockey Hall of Fame and as a site for an OHL team would be awesome. In fact, if the ice surface was opened up to minor league hockey, allowing 10 and 11 year old kids to skate there, that would be awesome.

Being Colorado must suck. Your not an awful team but your playoff hopes are almost gone and you are at the bottom of the conference. However, since the East has the worse teams, they probably won't end up with a top 5 pick. After the first period, I thought the Thrashers were going to dominate them, but they battled back and almost got the game to overtime.

And don't forget Guitar Hero: Modern Hits for the DS, Guitar Hero: Arcade for the 11 arcades left in the country, possibly DJ Hero and the new KFC Guitar Hero Meal. Also, Guitar Hero: Dead Horse may get delayed into 2010. Apparently Activision learned nothing from destroying the Tony Hawk franchise. ...and I am already burned out on these music games. I am guessing all the micro transactions and all the peripherals make it a very valuable franchise, but I can't see them helping themselves out by releasing 1,000 more games in a year.
