  1. Wow, Howard Berger is really depressing. I think that the Leafs can come back from a horrid start and jump back into a position to compete. Yes, it is going to require determination and hard work, but the Leafs finally have a goaltender that can make the big save. I can't wait to see what Kessel brings to the line-up. He could be ready for tomorrow's game against Tampa Bay.
  2. I don't know if it's because I didn't get the jokes or what, but I hate Harvey Birdman. I don't find any of it funny.
  3. Ovechkin is hurt, could miss a week or so. It's a big lose to have the best goal scorer in the league go down, but I think Washington has the depth up front to still win without him in the line-up.
  4. Tough game for the Leafs to lose, but getting points in 4 straight is huge - even if 3 of those games were loses.
  5. I'm just going to stick with what is on now. The show that I really enjoy right now is Community. I really think its one of the best comedies on television right now. I highly recommend everyone checks it out. The last episode in particular was just hilarious.

I'm excited. Once you put in enough time with UFC Undisputed, you realize that while that game is good, it is not a deep experience. I think that screenshot looks awesome and hope the game is fun.
  7. Leafs have sent down Viktor Stalberg and Joey MacDonald to the Marlies and called up Jiri Tlusty. Vesa Toskala will be backing up Gustavsson tomorrow night.
  8. Toronto FINALLY gets a win this season. They played a complete, 60 minute game for once and got some big saves from "The Monster" early on. The Ducks were taking penalties all over the place tonight and the Leafs powerplay made them pay. Kaberle had a 5 point night and Nik Hagman had a hat-trick. Still, it's only our first win so I can't get too excited. Also, as I pointed out in my blog, Anaheim is playing poorly right now. The Leafs caught them at the perfect time.
  9. It can vary wildly depending on the producer in question. On smaller films, not only does the producer work with the budget to make sure everything fits, but that everything is on schedule. I am sure that when Spielberg is a producer on a film, he has a hand in the creative side as well as the financial side. I remember hearing a story from the Friday The 13th doc "...And His Name Was Jason." about Jason Goes To Hell where Sean S. Cunningham was the producer. When the director needed an air cannon for a shot where Jason bursts through a door, Cunningham was able to run around and fashion one out of a Shop Vac.
  10. http://www.icethetics.info/ That is a pretty cool blog about jerseys that some of you guys might enjoy.
  11. ...and that game against the Canadiens is the only game this season where the Leafs played well for the entire game. You are absolutely right, Toronto needs to score first.
  12. I've already seen my taste in music change radically. I used to like punk rock but now I can't stand it. I used to hate most pop songs right away, but now I think some are actually pretty good.
  13. I'm not worried at all about the decision since both men immediately agreed to a rematch. That is good for the UFC and for the fans. Hopefully the end of the rematch is better with one man being the clear winner.
  14. Gustavsson in tonight for the Leafs!

Nice win for the Bills. I know the Panthers aren't a top team right now, but the Bills are gaining some momentum. They had excellent special teams all night and the defence continues to impress. I think getting Paul Posluzny back has been huge for them. The defence has been banged up since game one and is just now getting healthy.
  16. Those penalties killed the Leafs. Most of the calls were avoidable and in Vancouver's end too. Very bad penalties to take. It was a good effort from the Leafs but they lost because of their own mistakes. Vancouver wasn't the better team by any stretch but got some timely saves and took advantage of Toronto's penalty troubles. I was so angry when Toronto took the first penalty of the night. It is very frustrating being a fan of this team.
  17. The Leafs are a better team then they we have seen so far. They have just failed to perform. They may not make the playoffs (and this slow start would be a big speed bump to pass) but I still think they will find some momentum and get out of the cellar.
  18. I don't want to see a bunch of teams moving. I do think Phoenix will relocate eventually and Nashville is still struggling to find an audience. I also think hockey can be successful in Florida and Tampa Bay. I also think the NHL wants 32 teams.
  19. This game needs a very good computer to run. My home PC just needs a new video card to work, but my laptop that I have with me now is just lame and the game won't work at all on it.
  20. The game on Saturday had some positives for us Leafs fans. The team fought hard for the first two periods and were not beaten for a lack of effort but by an incredibly hot goaltender. Joey MacDonald was okay in goal but the wrap around should not have gone in and he never made the big stop we are looking for. The penalty kill is just awful though.
  21. Montreal had 7 attackers on the ice at the end of the game against Colorado. They had Price out of the net for six, then Hal Gill came out of the penalty box and didn't realize he was the seventh player for them. The referee's didn't notice either. The Avs still held on for the W though.

    Ultimate Fighter 10

This season has been awful. None of the fights have been interesting at all.
  23. The cameo of a comedy legend in Zombieland took it from a 9 and made it a 10.
  24. I love Friday The 13th: Part Two, mainly because the main girl kicks Jason in the balls. I am a fan of Dawn of the Dead and Alien.
  25. This is just awful. The effort level has actually been decent for the Leafs, but the penalty kill has been awful and the second goal by Colorado was a terrible one for Joey McDonald.
