Other bands sort of similar to DBS (I've been promising them); Shockwave (This could possibly be applicable for Tristy as well. Their songs are named after Transformers characters and episodes), Raised Fist, From Ashes Rise, Sick Of It All, Trial By Fire (They sound like Strike Anywhere) and Youth Today. They've all got vague links to Death By Stereo. And on the topic of Propagandhi, when does the new album come out. They've been promising it soon. There's videos of new songs played live floating around torrent sites. I had one with 3 new songs but I don't have it anymore and can't remember the link. Didn't the new DBS album come out recently? Like this week. Okay, now I have a request. I'm looking for 'chillout music' similar to Zero7. Any help? ←

I meant 2000. Sorry YI. I meant Propagandhi from that album, as their previous had a different style, and while i've always loved propagandhi i don't think any of their previous works have anything to do with DBS, reason why i put on the parenthesis.

for EBG: I feel the same way as YI. Death By Stereo are a band that's really hard to find other similar ones. Although not really alike, these are also 90's Punk bands with the same guitar strength/riffs/both, or Hardcore bands with a heavy punk-rock influence. Besides seconding every single one of YI's picks i'm also suggesting the following (which you probably know, but may not): 88 Fingers Louie 98 Mute Avail Avenged Sevenfold (because of the guitars) Good Riddance H2O Hot Water Music (although you would need to find the right stuff) Kill Your Idols None More Black Only Crime Propagandhi (from 2002) and finally Stretch Arm Strong (their mix of Punk and Metal - except for the last album - is one of the closest to Death By Stereo "mainstream" bands i can think of) For Tristy: As happens with Death By Stereo in an absolutely different style, i also find it hard to pick similar bands to Dillinger Escape Plan. All of the following bands have something in common with DEP though, so just try them out to see if you like A few i would suggest: Between the Buried and Me Blood Has Been Shed Cap'n Jazz Cave In (less powerfull but equally as chaotic and intense.) Coalesce Converge Curlupanddie End Ion Dissonance (more metal though) Norma Jean PoisontheWell Power & Glory (ignore the name and you'll be fine ) Scarlet Also, Candiria, Daughters, Glass Casket, Misery Signals and Red Cross. I don't own albums from these bands so i'm just suggesting out of a couple of songs (apart from Daughters). It may or may not be a good selection. EDIT: Also, Bas mentioning Botch made me remember i could also suggest bands like Deadguy, Knut and Rorschach and to a lesser extent Psyopus, Creation is Crucifixion, Neurosis or Kiss it Goodbye

Baptista a powerful player, who is a great goalscorer considering his position as 10. Going to England he would need to play a different role, but i think he would be able to adjust to it, unlike most of his position coming from Brazil. What i was wondering was where did they get those numbers, as he didn't surpass the 20 goal mark in neither season playing for Sevilla, which would make it hard to get 50 goals

Yes, he is very good in Serie A and with A.S. Roma, with the giallorossi he was suited to the more defensive play, he had good players around him and in Italia it is more tactical, here in Espana, its all attack and we have poor defence so he looks poor. Helguera is also a midfielder god bless him. I just hope Woodgate help us here at Bernabeu, we need trophies again. ←

In alphabetical order and without Thursday because you don't like them, regardless of them being IMO one of the best current Emo-core bands around : 400 Years, Boys Life, Braid, Cap'n Jazz, Chamberlain, Christie Front Drive, Dag Nasty, Elliot, Friction, Fugazi, Get Up Kids, Gray Matter, Hated, Hot Water Music, Husker Du, Jawbreaker, Jets to Brazil, Joan of Arc, Kerosene 454, Life Time, Mineral, Moss Icon, Promise Ring, Rites of Spring, Samiam, Shotmaker, Sleepytime Trio, Sunny Day Real Estate. This list includes Emo bands from the 80's when Emo and Post Hardcore were often joint together and toured together as their sound had a lot of similarities, 90's stuff with elements of poppy punk (not in a sum 41 kind of way), recent Emo-core bands and emo bands with an indie pop/rock touch. Screamo stuff (both the noise, and the core/metal parts) - Amber Inn, From Ashes Rise, Grade, Joshua Fit For Battle, Orchid, Portraits of Past, Saetia, Spirit of Versailles, Time In Malta, Torches to Rome, Usurp Synapse, Yaphet Kotto. Other Bands with emo/screamo elements that may or may not be called by some magazine Emo/Screamo but who cares - BoySetsFire, Jimmy Eat World, Thrice, Coalesce, Converge, Econochrist, Poisonthewell, Thrice.

Ok...who? I've never heard of this guy before in my life...which means he could be good, especially if Wenger's looking at him. Although (again I say this) I'd prefer a more established player to be at the club. ←

I just hope this game doesn't prove to be a disappointment like the other F1 managerial games were. I'll probably try to get it though. I'm looking at the screenshots and just felt the need of getting it

While we're at it, the quotes i believe were underrated in this list, and obviously this is just an opinion as anyone else's, were 29,33, 51 and 95. I don't even agree with the pick for #1, but from the top 12, i'm a fan of quotes 2, 6, 10 and 12. As for the Star Wars issue, most people who don't give a crap about Star Wars won't know any quotes from it apart from "may the force be with you" so i agree with the list in what concernes to that. EDIT: added a couple more personal favourites.

The Finals have been pre-empting prime time shows on ABC for the last two weeks now. If you have no interest in the series, it sucks because you're missing something you might want to watch because something you don't want to see is on. Think of it like when the President ruins the night by talking bullshit on EVERY channel, but on a smaller scale. Unless you're a Republican, or a Bush fan you just want him to shut the fuck up and return you to your regularly scheduled programming. In this case, if you're not a Pistons/Spurs fan, you wanted the series over in 4. ←
