They got huge the last couple f years! They're playing everywhere now! Was it the first time you saw them live?

I read Against me were playing full albums but none of them pre-searching for a former clarity. I didn't know they were playing Reinventing Axl Rose. That's awesome. Whenever I see them live they play a couple old songs (mostly Walking is Still Honest and maybe pints.. ) and that's it. :(
  4. Sao Paulo has the largest Japanese community outside of Japan. It's the second time Japan plays Copa America. While not their first choice it is an option when their main choices (Mexico and the US) refuse to participate as they did this year because they decided to focus on the gold cup. Qatar won the AFC Cup and I'd like to say that's the reason they're there but obviously their presence was decided long before that happened for other reasons that have little to do with the sport itself.
  5. I don't know what is going on but since Durant got injured, I don't mind the Warriors as much for some reason. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  6. So, Warriors in 4. Portland, had a decent lead but lost it and the Warriors won in OT.
  7. Blues are 1 w away from the Stanley cup final. And Jaden Schwartz has 12 goals in 18 games in the playoffs. He scored 11 during the regular season.
  8. Goals scored in the first 2 minutes should count half because people are still getting into their seats!
  9. Rask's been amazing the last few games. I don't mean this last one necessarily because Carolina didn't challenge him way too much tonight, but the previous ones and the Blue Jackets series. It looks like Tuukka Rask from like 5 years ago. The sharks usually score a lot though so it wouldn't be easy for him to keep it going, I guess. Well, that's assuming they go through. The Blues could still win the whole thing.
  10. Almost an hour away from the city, though. If you plan on doing a bit of sightseeing, leave early.
  11. I've found news in norwegian websites dating back from July to October last year and if my rusty norwegian is anything to go by, he was on trial at Tottenham in the summer, they liked him and after talks with his agent and his father they agreed on a 3 year contract which they have now signed.
  12. I read somewhere 30000 seats are for sponsors and VIPs. The whole Europa League ticket situation may be ridiculous but it's not like it doesn't happen in the ECL as well. UEFA just loves the moneys. EDIT: I accidentally sent this while I was still writing. -.-

There are so many bands I've only seen due to reunions being a thing. One of my best gig buddies never went to any of those because he dislikes the idea and I actually get his point of view. We're not really living those shows from back when the bands were really feeling what they wrote, both musically and lyrically. I get it. It's not as organic and sincere. Possibly less intense too. I'll still try go to every reunion show I can if I really like the band, though, so yeah... It's going to be nearly impossible to find anyone who'd add that much to a DK song with his unique vocals as Jello did. I went to Dead Kennedys gigs some 15 years ago or so, obviously without him, and while I get it wasn't the same thing, I still went because I felt it was going to be the only possible way to ever see them live (so far I haven't been proven wrong). While not exactly the same situation, I do understand why you'd feel that way. I know it's not the same, however I still get all excited whenever I see a small band playing a DK cover. Just lower a bit the expectations and enjoy it for what it is, I guess. I've seen Jello since, with the Guantanamo School of Medicine. It's cool, just not the Dead Kennedys.
  14. Pretty sure most have forgotten it was ever created, if football message boards are something to go by.
  15. No. No more than 3 out of 4 so far. However, before 1997 there was only one team from each country (and the previous winners) in the european cup/champions league and even then it was just 2 clubs per country for the top leagues. It's an impressive achievement now (if they do it) but it would have been quite a feat back then.
  16. It's not that complicated, albeit if you're not used to it, it can be hard at first. Basically there are 3 levels in the pyramid working the same way as pretty much everywhere else in the world. Top teams are promoted, bottom teams are relegated. The 4th level is where things change because the 4th level isn't really part of the pyramid, but rather a tournament where all its participants are teams from outside the pyramid trying to reach it. The tournament's participants are decided based on their results in the state championships. This tournament works pretty much like a World Cup or Champions League, meaning there's a group stage and then knockout stages. State championships are way older than the national league in Brazil and I don't think fans would ever allow them to cease to exist. They are really important for them (most of them at least). The best teams in each state (obviously excluding those already part of the Brazilian League) will be part of the 4th division - the tournament I mentioned above - and try to qualify to the pyramid. A couple of examples: In a small state like Amapa the winner and runner-up in the state championship qualified to the 4th level. In a strong state like Sao Paulo, the 5th, 7th and 12th qualified because everyone else was already part of the pyramid.
  17. I've watched too much Warriors and Rockets to still feel excited about them, I guess. There's loads of talent there, obviously, but I've seen so much of it... Also it doesn't help it's pretty much all mainstream media talks about. It's as if we were talking NBA finals right there. Anyway, Bucks and Sixers haven't been this good in a long time so the novelty is still there. Celtics are playing much better now than in the regular season. Raptors are usually better in the regular season than in the playoffs but they have a better team this year. I don't know. I don't think I've cared this much about the east in a long time. It's not just waiting til LeBron leads someone to the finals, anymore. Can you still feel excited about the Warriors if you're not from the Bay area? Sure, I guess. I'm just not on the edge of my seat anymore.
  18. It depends on what you like. Both eastern semis should be entertaining and in the west Jokic is a lot of fun to watch. To be fully honest, the only one I don't care much about at the moment is Warriors vs Rockets . Weird.
  19. The euros had a perfect 4 group-16 team format and it was changed for a format that had sucked when used previously in world cups. Fuckin' up things that work perfectly well is what people in charge of this sport do best. I'm not surprised they want to change it.
  20. Pc? I usually go by creators rather than collections because most of the best and most experienced creators have several. Djkm and senator phillips are pretty good I think. Then you have rev, desertpunk, hellboyhitscar (I think that was the name)... Those are decent in my opinion. There's a really good one at puro edits but I forgot his username as I haven't downloaded anything from him in a long time. I'll edit this later. Thing is, it's in Japanese and English in the workshop but not in game so I had to create all those wrestlers using his as models just so I could change their names. There's probably a better way to fix this.
  21. 50 for Lillard and the Thunder are out!
