  1. Yeah, Both KOTOR Games hold up well (even if the second one sort of is a rehash of the first one to be honest).

KOTOR 1 is one of the best RPG's made, if not THE best of the 00's. KOTOR 2 was rushed out of the door, and has a lot of bugs and a lot of missing/unfinished content. But you can mod it with ease, and there are a load of great mods out there, I can certainly say that the unofficial patches are must-downloads because they make KOTOR even better, and KOTOR2 the game it should've been.

I remember Dark Force being a very good game when it initially was released (and i say that as someone who never was into FPS games). I don´t know how well it holds up today.

If you're into Star Wars and get over older graphics, this game is still very very fun.

Empire at War i never got into, i sort of remember it as a bad Age of Empires Clone.

Very fun game, more like Total War meets Age of Empires.

The Force Unleashed 1+2 both have their Bugs, but they are not considered downright horrible games.

Like Mat said, they have their issues, and a bit of a cheesy story. But they are still one of the better Star Wars game where you mow down lots of stormtroopers with (double) lightsaber. This game comes the closest to a ''film'' story and presentation.

Battlefront and Republic Comando i never heared of at all.

Battlefront is/was a Battlefield clone, the servers are still pretty well populated, but you'll need an external service to get onto the servers now that the gamespy stuff has ceased.

With the Bioware games already in this i sort of expect the MMO to get added to this.

    Jedi Academy -

It was the first real game where you could make your own Jedi and play through a story with it. And both the gameplay and story hold up to this day, there are tonnes of mods out there, and there's even online activity still. I loved this game back in the day.

If you like RPG's, get it just for KOTOR alone.

If you're also into Grand Strategy, get it for Empire at War

If you just want Star Wars stories, get it for all the games.

This is the best Bundle since the EA bundle a few years back. There isn't a game that I can't suggest, and they're still adding more games to the list. So there's still the chance of them adding X-Wing/Tie Fighter, Lego Star Wars, Pod Racer etc.

  2. Yeah, it's called being hurt.

This, you can train hard every time. But if you get a wrong hit to the button your body goes loopy, regardless of how good/bad of a fighter you are. Gus got hit with the right punch, and he was out of it.

I'm dissapointed, I feel terrible for the guy having to lose out on facing Jones, but he'll recover, he's too good to not get better.

Like others said, I hope Rumble is the guy to knock off Jones because Jones needs to move on to something more interesting, like the heavy's or Mid's. He has owned LHW for long enough.

And also, Joe Rogan is a fucking muppet. Hendo was fucked, and Gegard was too nice of a guy not to completely end the fight when he could've. Now we got this bullshit drama about unfair stoppages, even though Gegard had it won. I hope this doesn't end up in a useless rematch, because Gegard would just beat him again.

Hendo is 44 years old, he's a guy that's both a Pride veteran and a Strikeforce veteran. He's had uncountable slugfests in the past, and his head is like paper maché now. He needs to just stop messing about and hang up his boots. The only one he can beat nowadays is Shogun, who is even more of a wreck than he is.

  3. Kobe has torn his Rotator and is out indefinitely.

That will probably mean Harden gets his spot in the ASG, but I wonder where Kobe has to go from here now that he's got a serious injury AGAIN.

For all intents and purposes his body is completely messed up bad, and the only reason he has to return next season is 25M of cash, which he won't get if he retired officially.

Lakers are a complete mess as a team. They have no great youth to speak off other than an injured Randle, and people are avoiding the Lakers because Kobe's there.

  4. The 2000 Arrows were great thanks to their Supertec engines, they'd qualify badly, blitz through the field with some good overtaking thanks to their straight line speed, then inevitably retire when the engine blew up. Plus their sponsorship with Orange made the livery awesome.

The reason they qualified badly was because Arrows underpowered the engine during non-race sessions, because of the aformentioned issues with them being extremely unreliable.

The late 90's early 00's were great anyways because of the unreliable cars. You couldn't go a race without seeing at least 2-3 of the bigger names having to retire because their car broke down having pushed it too hard.

Last season was boring in retrospect, with the Mercedes cars being Germanicly efficient.

  5. It was pretty obvious nothing else was ever gonna happen, he jumped the fence, then made sure he let the guy there know that it was his job to hold him back and create drama.

Obviously you know Conor or Aldo wouldn't be stupid enough to start fighting, but it's still a great way to hype something to the fans, making them want to see the title match even more.

It's not really important in MMA, but Conor has an amazing flair for dramatics and just generally making you notice him whatever he does. The same goes for a Chael Sonnen (before he retired), and also Ronda Rousey, Diaz Bro's. They polarise the fan, either you want to see him back up his words and continue his/her streak, or you want the guy facing him to punch his lights out.

The true fans will watch whoever is fighting because they love a good fight, but fighters like McGregor have such a huge appeal to the non-devotees of MMA. Because they see a guy who talks and acts larger than life, and he backs up his words to boot.

McGregor knows that his act sells big time, and he'll ham it up extra hard knowing that it will not only help Dana make money, but it will also help make him more popular and wanted as a result...

He's been winning for god knows how long, and the title match was coming from a mile away, but him playing up his craziness no doubt made it get there a whole lot quicker, and made the fans extremely excited for the fight.

People love a guy with a big mouth who can back it up. Ali made himself the greatest on his mouth, and it can make anyone more popular if done right... And the guys/gals that know how to use it, can make a lot of money. McGregor is one of those guys.

I can only imagine the eventual fight between the two, and knowing the UFC they will either have it in Brazil, or have it in the tri-state area. Because either place will make sure the entire crowd will be fire-hot.

  6. It's been such a long time there has been such a huge hype behind a guy, and McGregor is a genius at not just getting the hype, but fueling it to a boiling point.

Him flipping off Siver, finishing him with ease, then hopping the fence to go face to face with Aldo. It's pure genius, and the fans are eating right out of his hands.

McGregor will sell the title match as if it is the biggest title match in the history of title matches, and I personally am completely hype for that match when it happens.

  7. Well the oddest thing happened in MyTeam.

I got the first collection reward, which is 5K MT points. So I bought one of those fancy packs, and I got a Gold Kyle Lowry. Feeling frisky I put him on the block for 4K, and someone bought him off me today.

So I think "I could really use a good gold player'', so I bought another one of those packs.

And I feel the game is trying to tell me something...

    dd7f4a61766c9812688f9fa94e4f6e3f.jpg

Well the point is taken game, I'll put Kyle into my team!

  8. So I'm 6-3 with the Suns and getting in the flow of things. Brought Gortat back and the Greek Freak from the Bucks (whose name I forget how to spell) and ran a deal with the Lakers which resulted in me owning their first round pick for the year. They are currently 0-8 so I'm feeling pretty good about that pick right now. Also have the Wizards, Mavs and my own pick for the 2015 draft.

I might make the playoffs this year. If I do that will be dandy. If not I'm going to power my entire roster up through the draft and dominate next year. Boss.

    Antetokounmpo

It's not THAT hard, go play FM15 in the Greek leagues and then come back to me.

  9. Just did two domination matches in MyTeam, and I won both against Utah and Orlando with three stars, so I got some nice packs to expand my collection. Also got Trevor Booker and Ben Gordon... Gordon won't beat Trey Daniels because Trey is just a beast from range, so he's on the bench. But Booker is a really nice addition to my squad, and his mid-range shooting will help me get more open shots.

I'll probably try the Pistons and the Sixers domination tomorrow, but I'm sure it's going to get a lot more tough against the Pistons, knowing they got Al Horford and Andre Drummond to make my life shit in the paint.

  10. Blake and Noah is fun, but I think they'll be too much playing in each other's gameplan. Maybe try to look for a stretch 4-5 to add more spacing to your court, it will help the inside bigman and also your 3pt shooting.

  11. Going to watch it after the Shield!

Yeah, haven't seen anything of it at all!

    Also:

    WHY SHANE? WHY!!!!!???!?

    Fire in the hole! anyone?

Actually watched the first episode of The Shield a few days ago, also part of my viewing bucketlist and they really go all out in the first episode at making Mackey an utter scumbag, who on the other hand cares about justice. Very machiavellian.

I mean, SHIELD... and if you don't like SHIELD, then just watch anything other than Gotham.

Or skip both and watch Arrow and Flash. Those two shows are about ten times better than both.

I don't know why, but I have a hard time getting into Agents of Shield, I don't know what it is. But it feels like it's just a bit too forced in terms of acting. Apart from Coulson, I have a hard time liking the characters who range from ''Socially akward perky nerds'' to ''Gruff hardass enforcer'' and so on. And Skye has a very high Scrappy-Doo factor, and I'm tired of her already after 4 episodes... And I get that she's supposed to be the hook-in for the non-Marvel fan, but she still grates a lot.

I haven't seen a lot of it, but it just feels too formulaïc with the characters and there isn't much excitement to really hook me in... And I love the marvel movies a lot. Seeing people's reactions it becomes better as the season goes on, but right now I can't bring up the excitement to burn through an ''old-school'' 24 episode season.

On the other hand, I started watching Gotham and i'm hooked completely. I love all the characters like Penguin, Falcone, and also new characters like Fish Mooney.

  12. So I got into MyTeam today, and I took the Mavericks starting pack and got myself a Silver Jameer Nelson.

Currently 3-0 and have gotten a quick promotion to the higher seed, and my lineup is pretty damn balanced despite everyone but Jameer being all but scrubs...

    PG: Bronze Gal Mekel

    SG: Silver Jameer Nelson

    SF: Bronze Archie Goodwin

    PF: Bronze Kyle O'Quinn

    C: Bronze Ronny Turiaf

    B: Br Troy Daniels
B: Br Bruno Caboclo (Dunk machine)

    B: Br Solomon Hill
    B: Br Greg Smith
    B: Br Jordan Clarkson

    B: Br Josh Powell

    B: Br Jusuf Nurkic

    B: Br Robert Covington

The team on paper is shit, and in reality they are shit. But the team is pretty damn well balanced, the big men are effective in grabbing boards, and Mekel is a very useful pass-first Point Guard. I also rather have Jameer on SG because I work better with shooters off the pass. And the combination of Troy Daniels/Bruno Caboclo is explosive off of the bench.

Also, if anyone knows good cheap bronze cards, Please tell me because I'm always looking to improve :)

  13. Bought a game on Kinguin, and I got a free ''mystery key'' because I spent more than 13 euros... That mystery game turned out to be Nascar '14.

Can't wait to drive fast in circles!

Drive fast in the other direction online and record that shit. You make the Youtube monies :P

I only do what my pitboss Butters tells me to do!

  14. Network games to be successful have to be run regularly and for good amounts of time, it is hard to find people with that spare time, willingness and to actually turn up.

The SI boards are probably the best place to find people.

This, if you're gonna do it it you gotta have set moments you're gonna play. Like every weekend or whatnot, and not deviate from it.

  15. Leeds!

    Just kidding, Leeds sucks...

Take Wolves, they have a pretty good youth system, a good stadium, and they don't have a big wage bill either. And there aren't huge expectations for massive success to put you under ridiculous pressure from the start.

Also, they play in Orange, that guarantees a good team!

PS: After everyone ''pleading'' me to join Swansea, I've decided to join Nottm Forest anyways.

  16. So after Skive IK's first season in the top flight, and the first ever season as a pro club. I have literally done the impossible and win both the cup, and finish a ridiculous 3rd in the league to give Skive European football in their second ever top-flight/pro season...

But after almost 200 games and 1900 days with the team, I'm starting to get tired of the scenery of Denmark. And dominating with a team that should be struggling also gets, repetitive despite the fun I'm having in beating teams that I shouldn't beat...

Also, the talent level of Skive IK and Denmark as a whole is simply atrocious. And my last youth intake I only had 2 guys with 2* potential, those were literally the best guys in the entire crop...

And there's been interest from the rest of europe about my ''obvious talents'', and I got two interesting jobs lined up.

Nottingham Forest - Has been here and there in the Championship since the game start, never returned to the Premier League. Also has a reasonably good salary budget that's not blown up. Nice challenge to return them to the top flight, and return them to prominence.

Swansea City - Have been yo-yoing in and out of the Premiership the past three seasons, and have survived at 17th place this season keeping them up. Lowest wage spending of the Premiership with a ''mere'' 32.5M, and they seem to have very big coffers. They are one of three teams in England with ''Rich'' status. (Others are Stoke and Arsenal). And with investments I could make them the first Welsh winners of the English league.

One team has lots of history, and more ''safety'' in mid-field/promotion in the Championship, the other one has lots of money, no history, and a tough battle to stick around in the Premiership despite the metric-shittonne of cash...

I'm having a hard time decide, because both teams are equally interesting to run with...

    Any biased suggestions, lads?
