  1. It's reported that the show will have a worldwide release. So I assume that either Amazon will sell individual episodes (or seasons) on their site, or they might end up selling the show to the highest bidder in countries that do not have Prime.

Simply put I will just download the show just like I have always done with Top Gear. (Despite being able to watch the beeb)

  2. That was arguably the best race of the season by a country mile, and it was simply insane to watch it unfold.

Vettel and Kimi jump both Mercs at the start and take 1-2 early, Hamilton has a major cock-up of epic proportions and falls down to 13th...

Maldonado decides to reach the crescendo of being an incompetent bellend by getting not just 1, not 2, but three penalties in a single race going for the hat-trick of being the worst driver on the grid. Collission, Speeding in pit lane, and overtaking under a safety car, he really went all out in being terrible.

Then Hülkenberg's front wing exploded into a million pieces meaning safety car and the entire race turns upside down. Cars go through the pit-lane as the track is sweeped giving an amazing visual to an already amazing race.

Then Kimi's MGU-K breaks down ending with him having to retire from the race, ending the potentiality of a Ferrari 1-2... Compounding to the exicetement Rosberg collides with Ricciardo causing a massive puncture for the German and a broken wing for the Aussie.

Vettel just keeps storming to the end getting the finish and the second win of the season. And Daniil Kvyat gets his first podium of his career by getting second place with Ricciardo rounding out the podium escaping a penalty that would've put him in fourth... Also who is the guy who finished in fourth, it's 17 year old Max Verstappen who survived a drive-through of his own and had a great drive and almost becoming the youngest podium driver ever (Would he have even gotten champagne if it had happened?)

Rounding out the top ten also includes the first time both McHonda's finished in points as Alonso gets fifth place and Button gets 9th place for even more points for a team that has been shit all season.

Needless to say, a race for the ages which was exciting from start to finish... I feel gutted for Kimi who has another bad finish thanks to mechanical failure. But easily the best and most exciting race of the year, possible even the best of the V6-Era...

  3. Fuck...

I have nothing else to say except, fuck.

Terrible news. just no words can make this news feel less terrible. I just hope Jules has found eternal peace, and his family can hopefully let go of the most horrible thing that can happen to a parent.

He was only 25 too, just ripped away from the world. Any sort of death is terrible, but it has only compounded the tragedy of it all.

    RIP Jules

  4. I'm having a ''wait and feel'' attitude towards this game. I enjoyed NBA 2k15 very much, but after a while I really was done with the shoddy MyTeam functionality, the grind-tastic MyCareer function that pretty much had no narrative left after two seasons, and the dynasty options were also very meh...

  5. Deron Williams' waivers will end today, and it still looks like he's Maverick-bound... yay?

In other news, JaVale McGee is being touted to also be signed to the Mavericks to provide another presence next to ZaZa, the Mavs are really going hard for all the dissapointing centers right now... But you know what, i'm kinda psyched for McGee because with the way Mavs push the ball he could easily slot into a hoop&board kind of player like Brandan Wright was in the past for the Mavs.

McGee has had lots of issues in the past, but you can argue that the Nuggets and 76ers weren't going to make anyone get out of their slump, so maybe being in Dallas might help him out. Carlisle has a mind for what players are good at and how to best utilize athletic bigs, perhaps he might refind his mojo as a hustling bigman who cuts and slams on offense.

  6. I feel that LLM is pretty easy to get right. Get some fast forwards/wingers, get some hossy defenders, and get a guy who is a decent passer, and you can make a big for promotion no matter how low your team is rated.

My biggest challenge personally was with Skive IK in the second Danish division, the reason for this was a division between amateur/semi-pro and Pro teams in that league which meant that the pro-teams always had a huge advantage in match fitness and being able to attract better players. Took me a good 3 seasons to get over that hump purely because I had a huge training/fitness disadvantage.

If there's no such hump in a lower league, you're always a few good signings removed from shooting up the pyramid.

  7. If D-Will ends up joining the Mavs, I hope that this motivates him to return to form for his hometown team. And the way he's coming in, he can become either the next Fisher/Rondo for the Mavs, or refind his mojo and turn into a hometown hero instead... I really hope the latter happens, but after Rondo last season I'm not getting my hopes up.

I have nothing against Zaza, but knowing that the Mavs lost Tyson Chandler in the whole DeAndre flip-flop bullshit, I am just extremely bitter about it all. If DeAndre had manned up earlier, Cuban could've given Tyson a good deal to stay in Dallas... Instead of that we neither got DJ or Chandler, and the team had to resort trading for Zaza instead.

Basically the team had to pay double to get someone that's not even half the value...

  8. Ugh... I think my save has broken, it clearly couldn't handle the reality of me winning something major for a change...

So everytime I now get scout reports it says N/A - N/A at Current and Potential rating, and when I go to the player page, there's no scout report.

I've looked around on the sigames forums, and whilst people have had similar problems, i've not seen a fix to their issues.

It's not completely game breaking, but since it has destroyed scouting, it's going to be nigh-impossible to find great youth and great players without having to go to huge lengths to find them. So I guess i'm royally effed right now, and am forced to start a new game :(

  9. Well the Mavs properly got fucked in the ass thanks to DeAndre flip-flopping at the very last moment.

He ''signed'' on the fourth, and as a result Mavs couldn't go into the market for anyone else in the past five days as guys like Tyson Chandler signed with the Suns instead. Then on the last day DJ goes ''I changed my mind... Sorry?" and returns to the Clippers, giving the Mavs nobody of his stature to go after in free agency. The only decent center left is Enes Kanter, who has shown that he is only interested in playing for contenders when he whined himself to the Thunder last season.

Basically Mavs got fucked hard by DJ, and it's going to be interesting how Cuban will deal to get some sort of front court together before the next season.

  10. So Mike Ashely sacked me once I applied for the vacant Liverpool and Arsenal jobs and told him to get fucked in a meeting, yay!

Got offered the Liverpool job before the Arsenal one so took it and had £50mil to spend, along with a much better squad to begin with. Villa bought Lallana for £30mil and City paid £71mil for Balotelli because they'll clearly never learn. He's brilliant but he doesnt; fit in my system and all that money allowed me to raid my old Newcastle team as well as a few other. All set for the season and a run at the Europa League!

  11. I tend to follow a simple system when it comes to loaning out players.

    - Anyone below 17 years of age won't get loaned regardless of how good they are.

    - I want them to be at a level where I don't need to give them specific training to get certain skills up, e.g. Midfielders need to have 10+ passing, defenders need 10+ marking/tackling/heading.

    - The team I am loaning them to needs to have average or better training facilities. This is a very important aspect, because if the facilities aren't good enough they're better off in my reserve squad, despite not getting playing experience.

    - Really talented players (3* or higher) need to be playing in good leagues, or else they're not going on loan. So Championship, Premiership level leagues or none at all. Again, this is in part due to the facilities, but also due to the level of competition. Anything below those levels will mean they're stagnating. If they're not yet good enough to play at such teams, they're better off staying in the reserves anyways.

Your bet is that the training facilities of the Championship club are worse than your own facilities (pretty obvious), and that they're at such a level that despite the playing time he's simply not getting good enough training to improve his game. You're probably best off getting him back ASAP, and simply giving him bench-outings and cup ties instead, sure he might not be getting the most playing time, your facilities and staff will make a big difference.

Here's another fun development tip for you guys, unrelated to loaning.

Any player with 3+ (depending on the team) or more stars potential I will put in my first team whilst making him available for either u21 or u18 fixtures. This is done for two reasons.

Reason 1: I won't forget about them when there needs to be rotation, so I will have an easier time giving them the extra playing time they need to improve quicker.

Reason 2: If you put them in the seniors, they will also be training in the senior system. I have noted that this is actually less intensive than playing for the youth side, despite being on Heavy position training. I don't know why, but the gist is that I can give them more training than they get in the u18. I've not noticed players being more prone to injuries either this way.

Also, one final thing. Try to get players with ''professional'' personality. Whether it's fairly or model pro, those players are the best bet for reaching their potential the quickest. There have been tests done by people on other sides like the sigames forums where they tested 10 identical talents all with different personalities, and the one with high professionalism ALWAYS jumped out big time. And if your player is not professional, maybe try to find a decent veteran player to tutor players so that it rubs off on them. In older games I always got Yossi Benayoun from Chelsea, because he was amazingly good at tutoring thanks to his model-pro and high mentals.

  12. Also Marc Gasol has accepted a 5 year 100 million deal to stay with Memphis, which was probably a given after Dallas got Jordan and San Antonio got LaMarcus Aldridge.

Ginobili is also returning to the Spurs for another year, which only makes them more lethal.

There's also rumours of Dallas trading for cap space so that they can sign Jeremy Lin to a deal to get him back with his guy-love Chandler Parsons. And I think Lin would find the system in Dallas to be much better for him compared to what he had to do in Laker-land. Being able to lob passes to Jordan all day will probably prove to be a scary prospect.

Dallas is making big moves this off-season, and I really hope the gambles pay off for a change. Losing Ellis feels like a mistake, so I hope that Wes Matthews can get in and make me wrong.

  13. To return on that last thing I said, here is my first (terrible) attempt at trying to recreate myself... Which has ended up as a bastard child of Rusev and Jeffrey Dean Morgan...

For people that wanna try it for themselves... I followed this tutorial that tells you everything that you need to know about it.
