  1. Jesus, this Ward/Mannarino match is terrible. I mean, they're both really, really bad. Might be a little bit because the camera on this court is awful so you can't tell how they're playing really, but still.
  2. Perez isn't feeling well after FP1, so he is being replaced for the rest of the weekend by Pedro de la Rosa. Which makes very little sense, since I'd have thought they'd ship Gutierrez in, but maybe he wasn't available. Weird that Pedro was in that case though ETA: Ah. Pedro is McLaren's reserve driver it seems, or at least for this weekend. Gutierrez is in Mexico, so for some reason Sauber decided that they could manage without a reserve this weekend even with Perez a doubt. Whitmarsh has given them a loan, then, which makes sense given that Pedro was in the car last year.
  3. Ward is walking it. Won the first set, now he's a break up at 5-3 in the second with Mannarino to serve next.
  4. Who is this Mannarino guy? All I've seen is that he's knocked out a couple of seeds, including del Potro, so will he prove much of a threat to Ward I wonder? Winner of that goes on to play Nadal I believe so it looks like Rafa is on course one way or another to get to the final.
  5. 13 hours now to vote in the Pop Prom for this week's shows. Don't make me break out the punishment whip >_>

  6. Just over 24 hours left to vote in the Pop Prom. *Insert standard "lots of you need to vote" warning*

  7. Schiavone just has no real response to Li. It's still been one of the better matches of the tournament even though it has been fairly one-sided, especially considering there haven't been that many errors.
  8. Li is probably one of the more consistent women on the tour right now. Definitely think she's got a real shot tomorrow, she's probably also my favourite on the tour right now.
  9. Just flipped it on, who the hell is this Baguette guy and why is he dominating it all of a sudden? ETA: WHAT THE HELL!?
  10. The past season or so has turned my opinion round on Hamilton and Alonso so much. I used to like Lewis, especially in his debut season and therefore turned quite heavily against Alonso. But now I can't stand Lewis and Alonso is one of my favourite drivers; I think he's calmed down quite a bit now compared to how he was, but he's also clearly out there because he loves driving and is loving driving for Ferrari.
  11. He probably meant it as a joke, but the fact he then stuttered over his explanation behind saying it didn't help. I've never seen someone acting so spoiled. Also, working it out: Kobayashi has now scored points in 14 of his 27 starts, which I think is pretty incredible considering he's been with Toyota and Sauber.
  12. Brundle and Eddie Jordan both said that Lewis was stupid in saying that and pointed out that it's never his fault as far as he's said.
  13. SHUT UP LEWIS YOU ABSOLUTE IDIOT.
  14. Shame that Kamui couldn't get 4th but 5th is still an amazing result, given Sauber haven't looked competitive at all this weekend. And of course especially given Sergio's crash. Kamui getting an investigation might be about his overtake but he ended up a lap up on Sutil so even a 25 second penalty won't hurt him too bad. Lewis' assaults on people were much, much worse >_>
  15. Fucking hell, Lewis. Such a shame for Pastor now if he holds Webber up then Kamui gets to hold on to 4th...
  16. Webber will probably get Kamui at some point...
  17. As much as I hate Lewis, I have to applaud him for managing to drive around for 3 laps with a broken rear wing. Good to hear Vitaly has just bruised his legs by the sound of it.
  18. I'm fairly certain they can all put on new tyres though, no matter what they're saying. They did it at the European GP in 07 where Winkelhock was leading. So Vettel doesn't have that much to worry about. ETA: Bruno Senna better not be coming back
  19. SMASH! Please let this take Lewis out...and COME ON KAMUI!!!
  20. This will be interesting in the 4th-8th battle; can Sutil and Kobayashi manage to stay out for the rest of the race, if so they should be a lock for 4th & 5th. If not, in theory, Webber and Maldonado (maybe even Lewis) can indercut
  21. This makes no sense! Nobody is where they're meant to be, Red Bull have completely fucked this entire thing up too it seems.
  22. This race is bizzare. Crashes and safety cars and Lewis can't handle being I'm the midfield *again*. Sutil and Kobayashi are genuinely up in 4th and 5th too!
  23. You could tell the way this match was heading from about 15 minutes in; Barcelona lulled United in to a false sense of security then let them have it all out. It's probably going to end up more than 3-1 at this rate, and deservedly so too. United just can't get it past the halfway line.
