  1. Somebody from Sauber and HRT are going to be running to the nearest gazebo store
  2. Woohoo, rain in Malaysia! Even though it'd be a disappointment to end it under a red flag, I'd be happy if it meant HRT got half a point
  3. In a line that will no doubt be trotted out plenty nearer the contest, the UK actually won from 1st with Brotherhood of Man. Of course, Brotherhood of Man won in an 18 song contest and with only the juries, and Engelbert has 25 songs after him and televoting to cope with. Still, top 10 isn't outside of his reach. Looking at the betting, it's all pretty much one way traffic: Best odds on Sweden are 12/5, though nobody is offering odds on yet, which they were getting close to doing on Alexander Rybak. Russia are next on 6/1, but it's very much Brits thinking "LOL, novelty act at Eurovision, of course it'll win!" and not realising that...no, it will not. Denmark and Serbia you can get for 14/1 and 16/1. Denmark are on outside shot of winning, I think. Serbia will do well but I doubt it'll win, it's Zeljko's worst song out of the four he's had in the contest. Three of the big five are at 20/1(also 20/1), the UK, Spain and Italy. Spain have a real shot at winning, Italy have been hindered by the draw and the UK would be a wasted bet. Outside shots would be Slovenia (66/1), Iceland (28-1) and Norway (33-1). Logic dictates that it's Loreen's to lose, really. The only songs I can really see giving her a challenge would be Denmark, Spain and Iceland and for Denmark & Iceland, that'll be very draw dependant.
  4. Fucking Lewis But Michael is third!
  5. Fucking hell. Wasn't expecting him to make it but it's brilliant that he seems to be on the right road.
  6. He's also able to move his arms and legs in small motions it seems, which would also suggest the worst in terms of any possible brain damage being cast aside too.
  7. Humperdinck's song for the night. It's surprisingly nice and could do alright.
  8. Ben Edwards, who at points managed to out-shout Croft.
  9. Perez has apparently suggested there was overtaking under yellow flags, which I can only imagine is...well, it'd be Kobayashi and Raikkonen who got ahead of him, unless he means the guys behind him. Unless Rosberg was having a go at him already around where Maldonado went off? Surely they hadn't yellow flagged the entire circuit for that one accident...
  10. Yeah but he did it about two or three times throughout the race, not just at the end...
  11. I need a screenshot of Sauber being in 3rd ahead of Ferrari Sky were very good today, the only noticeable thing was Croft seemingly getting Maldonado and Kobayashi mixed up with each other...
  12. To memory it just looked like it broke down...
  13. Jesus that was a crazy final lap!
  14. I fucking love Sauber. Screw you Kimi, if Kamui wants a flapping rear wing he will have one! I am loving how it's pretty much a jumble behind McLaren and Red Bull, nobody seems to be able to pull away from anyone else. And I never thought I'd be cheering on Maldonado against Alonso, but yet here I am...
  15. So here's something I don't understand...why is Chigusa the only person in the film (bar Kazuo/Shogo) to randomly have a different outfit on then the rest of them? It always really bugs for me for some reason.
  16. The thing playing in my head at the moment is Puerta, who collapsed, got to the dressing room and then had another heart attack and died a couple days later. There's no definite sign that he's out of the woods yet, unfortunately. We can hope though.
  17. Thank god for that, he won't be out of the woods yet but it's encouraging.
  18. Perez will start last due to a gearbox change. I have a feeling it'll be a romp for McLaren at the front and it'll be between the two of them, unless Michael can get a start like he did so often last year - Lewis and Jenson will be fighting each other at the start and it'll be a case of whichever of Schumacher/Grosjean can get off the line better who will be able to maybe get ahead of a McLaren. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the midfield. Alonso will probably charge up and so will Kimi, and I have a sneaking suspicion that with the tyres to see them through, Sauber will be looking good for tomorrow.
  19. Guardian's blog is saying no updates since he got put in the ambulance, though.
  20. They'd have to tell the family first, we won't hear anything for another half hour or so I'd have thought.
  21. Apparently Coyle and Davies were in the ambulance with him
  22. I know they're showing the rugby and stuff, but I'd have thought the BBC would have at least noted what's going on at some point on the sport coverage.
  23. I can only assume that RBR and Lotus are going to try to make the argument that them pushing the button to activate the DRS (and by virtue of that, opening the F-Duct) is a driver movement. But then that'd be arguing that just activating DRS is an illegal movement.
  24. He had an excursion heading in to the final sector and just lost so much time from that he never got close to setting a final lap. McLaren 1-2 and what the fuck, Romain Grosjean is in 3rd.
  25. Bizzare so far. Mercedes seem to be fastest, but McLaren might not have pushed as fast as they could have going in to Q3. Red Bull look like they're 3rd fastest, Ferrari are awful and then it's just such a jumble behind them. Kobayashi and Perez seemed massively quick in Q1 but out in Q2, Maldonado has suddenly put pace in the Williams and Kimi messed up majorly.
