  1. In defence of the flint and steel, it did work once when I managed to set Ellis on fire as he came out of a house, which helped me kill him off.
  2. To be honest, I'd say that only Serena on a good day could beat Lisicki now. She was on a roll last year until she met Maria and now, 12 months down the line, she looks even better. The only problem with Lisicki is that you get the feeling she's always one mistake away from having a meltdown. But the emotion usually helps her.
  3. There was an axe and charcoal under there. I found the sticks and the diamond separately.
  4. We need to start, so anyone else want in then get on
  5. TEOL is I think. To be fair, we can have a couple of games so there'll be plenty of room to play.
  6. http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?592153-CK2Chooser-Random-Date-Character-Utility I'll fix it for you You weren't online!
  7. Ferrer takes out Roddick.
  8. Well this is going much better. King Svald of Denmark lasted until he was nearly 70, had an awesome reign and gained two new territories. Now I'm playing one of his many, many bastard kids and none of my vassals dislike me (bar a couple of other half-brothers)! Only problem is I don't have a son yet, but I have an heir lined up just in case. Only problem now is the Holy Roman Empire are stealing all the bits of land I want.
  9. Brian Baker through, somehow he's powering through this tournament. Incredible charge so far by him. Kohlschreiber is beating Rosol 2 sets to love, so the fairytale looks to be over already. Kvitova has just mauled Lepchenko 6-1 and is probably going to bagel this final set too.
  10. Started as the Duke of Barcelona. Got one territory then had to deal with a revolt, then as soon as the revolt started, two holy wars started against me. Bugger.
  11. And Benneteau's tanked it.
  12. Benneteau pretty much gave up on the third set.
  13. Bloody hell, Benneteau's 2 sets up. Was convinced he'd just tank it.
  14. Huh. Federer is a set down and lost his break in the second set to Benneteau. Malisse has now knocked out both Gilles Simon and Fernando Verdasco too, while Youzhny is a set and a break up on Tipsarevic. Could be another big name shock going out today! ETA: Not to mention that Gasquet is a set up on Almagro too. Five of the top 16 seeds are out before the fourth round and if could be as many as eight if Federer, Almagro and Tipsarevic don't turn this around
  15. Heather was never going to beat Radwanska, but at least she didn't get double bagelled. The ranking points will be great for her though, will mean she can start playing in bigger tournaments and get more tricky opposition.
  16. Querrey through over Raonic, Djokovic loses first set to Stepanek. I'd call Stepanek pulling something off, except he's one of the most vastly overrated players on the tour (especially for his seeding/rankings)
  17. Doesn't Murray have to go through Roddick at some point though? With the way Roddick's been playing so far this tournament too it could be a repeat of their semi final match...
  18. He's playing Kohlschreiber, which will be a tough one. To be honest, I think it's just going to be the case that Rosol has exactly the type of game that exposes Nadal. Never played each other before, so nobody will have seen it coming. Blows that entire side of the draw open - especially because Lopez and Dolgopolov got knocked out too (as did Niemenen). Essentially, it's three absolute wildcard players and then Kohlschreiber, presumably up against Tsonga/Fish in the Quarters. Crazy.
  19. Lukas Rosol, have my babies. Irony is he'll probably go out in the next round.
