I've never been able to understand this at all, other than an approximation of where the +5 and +3 walls are. The rest of it just confuses me.

Manor have dropped Rio to reserve driver and replaced him with Esteban Ocon for the rest of the season. In the long run, it makes a lot more sense for everyone involved I'd say (bar Rio). Mercedes now have a direct comparison between Ocon and Wehrlein, their two young drivers. Ocon gets out of DTM, where he's had an absolutely shocking season so far. Renault will have a much easier decision on if they bring him up to replace K-Mag or Palmer next year (and it probably also saves Palmer's bacon, since now Ocon won't be replacing him mid-season). Speaking of Renault, rumour is they're vaguely trying to get Perez for next season now, though Perez might be stringing them along to get more out of Force India. So, predictions for the grid next year?

There's a rumoured leak of the entire Pokedex. No idea if it's real or not, but it's a lot of effort if not.

Grinding like hell for Sasha, I think I might just be able to get her. I did get Becky from MITB though, which has how pushed me in to WM. Freebie was Triple H which I'm pretty happy with.

There's a Wildcard in the final from all the Heat Runner-Ups; I'd put good money, even with three more to go, on Thor making it. Just caught up now. Shockwave looks like a kind of B-version of Bite Force, which won Battlebots in 2015. Fully expect a working Carbide to tear it to shreds, mind, but they do seem to have a good idea in the whole "charge spinner before it can work properly" plan. I think it's also telling just how short a time period some of these robots had to get ready - with more than 5 weeks and some proper testing, I can imagine that Speed Squared would have been in much better shape. Also: Foxic, whilst it was crap, was pretty clever in that it was small enough to be able to avoid a lot of weapons. If it had drive properly, I could have seen them being able to pit Speed Squared.

Buemi is going to be testing the Red Bull in a couple of weeks, which might very well set him up nicely to head to Renault next year. Sounds like it'll be either him or Perez partnering Ocon there.

They've completely scrapped the radio ban. The new twist is that they have to give access to ALL their radio communication. Also it seems that they've scrapped track limits.

A Russian news site is saying Red Bull have told Kvyat he's not being kept on for 2017.

Rumour is that Stoffel will be taking over from Haryanto soon at Manor, which will be awesome if just to see Vandoorne and Wehrlein directly against each other.

Honestly though, it's a better design that Hypno-Disc. HD had that terrible srimech and a stupid ground clearance. And the wheels were too exposed.
