  1. Jesus. Lewis quit Mercedes after the Spanish GP.
  2. Cried when Jenson got out of the car a little bit. Coudn't sit down for the last 6/7 laps. So, so happy for Nico. Always liked him since he debuted. I don't blame Lewis for what he did, because at the end of the day you have to do whatever it takes to win the title. Was it unsportsmanlike? Yes. But in comparison to some of the stupid stuff Lewis has pulled out before, I don't really have a problem with this one. (Also, there's a picture that does indeed show Lewis hugged Nico before they got to the podium room) EDIT: Gutierrez post-race radio. I kinda feel bad for him now. EDIT2: So, Vettel said over the radio at the end of the race that Lewis was trying "dirty tricks". Part of me thinks that he purposefully didn't try and overtake Nico on the last lap when he probably could have.
  3. Jenson has confirmed he's expecting to retire on Sunday.
  4. Heads up, the new patch has come out and their "fix" for the blue flags has made it even worse than ever.
  5. ...I feel I should be enjoying this a lot more than I am so far. Maybe it's because I knew so much of it going in because of how much they released, but it just feels like I know everything that's going to happen and the amount of hand-holding is insane. Also, fuck Lillie.
  6. In my second season in the Asia-Pacific League with Octane. Rodrigues is still bossing it as the leader, but the other two drivers I have are kinda terrible. One is about 4.75 potential though and is learning fast thanks to my HQ upgrades, though. Only problem is that in a season and a half, they've scored a total of one point. Trying to keep finances down though so I've not been willing to improve them, but it's making the constructors an uphill battle. Rodrigues has won 5/5 races so far this season, but because of pole position points/fastest laps, Kirov (my nearest rivals) can still outscore me if they're both in the top four. As for upgrades, I've now got the ones for Brakes, Suspension & Front Wing, which is handy as the other three parts are now all spec parts in this championship (I may have used 6 votes stored up to get Spec Rear Wings introduced...). I've got the best Front Wing and 4th best Suspension, but the worst Brakes annoyingly. Just none of the upgrades for Brakes seem *that* good, might need to go to an Epic knowledge for them. Also Lv 1 Design Centre, Factory, Tour Centre, Scouting, Forecasting and the Helipad. Got verrrry lucky with sponsors too, as their last race had a 4x bonus for being their home race. Cool $4.8million in the bank from that. Still really enjoying it, if the backmarkers don't continue to royally piss me off. Oh, and here's a little tip for anyone who's really struggling to make progress:
  7. !!! Eurogamer are reporting that Pokémon Stars is already in development, as the third game to Sun and Moon. Oh and it's going to be on the Switch MAIN GAME POKEMON ON CONSOLE IT'S HAPPENING!
  8. There's no subs yet that I've seen, but generally he seems to be much more competent at the start here than he has been in a long time. I mean, it's hardly a spoiler, but Pikachu wipes the floor with like 3 Team Skull Pokemon by himself, so it's not "why can't my Pikachu beat a Level 5 Snivy" levels certainly. It's not a reboot, either, as he handed over his Kalos Pokemon to Oak before leaving. So it's mainly just a different art style really.
  9. The first two episodes of the SuMo anime have aired in Japan. Just to make a point that this makes me love Bewear even more. Watch from 6mins in if it doesn't work as I expected.
  10. Stardew Valley, Punch Club and Motorsport Manager are the most fun I've had this year by far. Oh, and Overcooked.
  11. Yeah, the first race win is genuinely rewarding. Hell, most of them have been. In to the Asia-Pacific league now, Singapore for the first race. Timed the qualifying lap just right and my guy got pole just before the rain got too heavy. Finished 2nd, about 30 seconds behind 1st but equally that far ahead of 3rd. Other driver finished 9th so a little disappointing. The rules do benefit me a lot though - the season before I moved up, they voted for spec Engines and already had a spec Gearbox, so it means a lot less development needed there.
  12. As a heads up: if you win the championship, you get given the option of being promoted. Which I wish I would have known before throwing the last race of the second season.
  13. Okay, so these are all 90%+ setups for my drivers, but there does seem to be variation (ish) between setups (Assume it's Front Wing - Rear Wing - Pressure - Camber - Ratio - Suspension for all) Black Sea F: 14.3 - 27.3 - 21 - -2.4 - 50 - 69 Munich B: 19.1 - 25 - 19.2 - 0 - 31 - 50 Milan A: 16.4 - 23.2 - 21 - -2 - 56 - 56 Tondela B: 19.2 - 25 - 19.8 - -0.8 - 25 - 50 Ardenne: 17.9 - 22.8 - 22.2 - -2 - 81 - 75 Munich A: 17.9 - 26.2 - 18 - 0 - 19 - 31 Guildford: 16.7 - 25 - 21 - -1.2 - 56 - 94 Tondela C: 19.1 - 26.3 - 19.8 - -0.8 - 31 - 44 Milan B: 16.4 - 25.6 - 21.6 - -1.2 - 56 - 56
  14. I've got a bunch of setups that have worked for me in an Excel spreadsheet for the ERS races, if you want any help. So, couple of gripes I have with the game: first of all, overtaking in general seems way too hard. My car is 3/4 seconds faster than some people in practice, yet in the race I can't just breeze past a car on a straight etc. Tied in with that, blue flags and backmarkers are programmed horribly. The blue flag only seems to get noticed when the car ahead is halfway through a corner, so they move to let you go...but then you're already off the racing line trying to overtake them, so they just block you. I'm losing 3/4 seconds behind each backmarker at the moment, and it multiplies when you come on a bunch of them. Hopefully that'll be patched because right now it's ruining my races. Anyway: in the third season now, having purposefully thrown away the last race of the season so that I'd be able to stay in the ERS for one more season and get my HQ up to scratch. Won the Drivers title though which turns out does wonders for your marketability - I'm now raking in about $1mil a race which should really help.
  15. Won my first race finally, in Race #7 of the season with Octane. What's cool is that a strategy that worked for me in this race (trying to do one less stop than the AI) didn't work the race before, so it's not like there's one easy way to win. Probably gonna let go my other driver though, my girl (Dreyfuss) is kicking his ass in every race so far, bar the one where she got hit *twice* and had to get two replacement rear wings. EDIT: Oh, and the politics is really annoying. Our best part is probably our Gearbox, so naturally we lose the vote for Spec Gearboxes in 2017.
  16. It's out! Much more difficult than the preview version and so far it's a lot of fun. Like a much more upscaled version of the mobile game, which is what I'd expect really. Development bits and the politics stuff is a lot of fun and in-game strategy is really hard to master. Car setup is also much, much better too. Enjoying it quite a bit, only five races in mind.
  17. Force India have got their way, Ocon signed. Grid more or less complete, then. Mercedes - Rosberg / Hamilton Ferrari - Vettel / Raikkonen Red Bull - Verstappen / Ricciardo Force India - Perez / Ocon Williams - Bottas / Stroll McLaren - Alonso / Vandoorne Toro Rosso - Sainz Jr. / Kvyat Renault - Hulkenberg / Palmer Haas - Grosjean / Magnussen Sauber - (Ericsson) / ??? Manor - (Wehrlein) / ???
  18. ...huh. So, Magnussen replaced Gutierrez at Haas, even though Renault belatedly tried to keep him. So instead, Renault have now kept Palmer, who earlier today was said to be going to Force India, which presumably now means Ocon or Nasr will end up there? Talk about a confusing day. Wouldn't be too shocked to see Gutierrez back at Sauber for the Ferrari side of things.
  19. Yeah, the *entire* game has leaked. Story, all stats, all UB's, everything. Be warned. I'm trying to avoid most of the spoilers, but there's one incredibly cool one that's maybe not a spoiler but still just in case:
  20. People are datamining a lot of stuff right now and have discovered a couple of big things:
  21. Stroll is finally officially confirmed as second Williams driver.
  22. What kind of annoys me the most about it is how the stewards/FIA also fucked up with the podium stuff. I've never, ever seen a "investigated after the race" literally be done within 2 minutes of the cars reaching parc ferme/the podium. It really felt like they panicked, thought they'd get more flak if they didn't give Seb the podium, then when they went back and did their work properly and gave Seb the penalty, it meant the podium was wrong anyway.
  23. Ahahaha. Vettel has been given a 10 second penalty for moving under braking, AKA: the Verstappen rule. So he now finishes behind Verstappen and Ricciardo gets 3rd.
  24. Also: full credit to Ericsson, because there's no way he should have held on to 11th for all that time. He's really started to prove himself finally.
  25. I think the bigger issue is really that it's unfair to penalise Max and not Lewis in this situation, because they both did pretty much the same thing. Rosberg got hit off the track more than anything else, I'd say, so I wouldn't say he really gained anything from what happened with Max early on. Also, did they ever replay what happened with Hulk and Kimi? I mean Kimi was always going to take that place anyway, but I wonder if he caused Hulk to spin?
