Matt was watcing the TV in New York though, and it showed the blast area just being in Costa Verde...nowhere else was majorly destroyed around it. Besides, Daphne wouldn't have been able to reach New York had it gone that far - and Hiro teleported away just before he was about to get killed by the kind of...imminent destruction in front of him. Def. wasn't on the horizon.

Hmmm...here's a question. When Hiro went in to the future at the start of the chapter, it seemed like it was a bomb or something going off that wiped out Tokyo - which had nothing to do with the plotline of this chapter in the end (as Sylar blew up Costa Verde, not Tokyo or anything in Five Years Gone). Then, Ando shocked Hiro and appeared to kill him, but presumably that wasn't the actual case - instead, he accelerated Hiro's power (if he gets one back), as we now know. So, my question is... WHAT THE FUCK!? Seriously, they've just pissed on the continuity so much this season. Nikki had a sister named Jessica, and yet now she was created and her only sisters were Tracy and Barbara. Sylar's blatant power continuity errors too have been annoying (because he's still using ones that he lost when he got stabbed...), and the fact that Elle suddenly goes from uber-discharging Sylar at the start of the season to not doing anything when he kills her...ugh.

Lady Vengeance is the most disturbing in many ways, I think, if simply for that scene where she's showing the parents the video of the girl being hanged by the teacher...which is just...kind of sick. And the prison rape is just...eeew. Personally, I think that all three are equally good, although Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is all kinds of awesome, even if the first 20 minutes or so are kind of slow.

I "helped" with Pokemon Global. Somehow I got put in as a programmer, without doing anything and therefore got to look at all the mod stuff. The guy running it had no clue what the fuck he was doing, and kept on changing things from one to another. Every release it was "well, it's only a beta", and he'd run it and there'd be no problems...but it was just...awful...

Leona is a better singer, but Alex has much more of a personality, and proved when she did Toxic & Candyman that she has much more range than Leona (it says something when Forgive Me was her first upbeat single and it didn't "even" chart in the Top 5). They're both great singers, but...I think Alex is a better all-round package. And if the Yanks take Connie Talbot, then Alex should be able to do well. She's certainly had the Leona-hype in the past few weeks.

Looking at it, it looks like what really did Eoghan & Diana in was Ruth going. Literally...all her voters jumped to either JLS or Alex, which meant the littl'uns never stood a chance.

I just got a load of mp3's from the show. It's made me remember how awesome Ruth was. And that Diana's version of "Call Me" was all kinds of awesome.

Holy fuck, they released the voting. Week-by-week voting In other words, the week that Diana fucked up was her biggest victory. Rachel sucking throughout isn't surprising; and Take That week was ridiculous. Eoghan died after that...and Alex struggled until the final few weeks...

I think she thought that it was sufficiently different to make an impact this time, which it did - it's different from the first version, and I think it works better with a quicker tempo. Next week I'm sure we'll see something different. Oh, and the freaky looking Scottish guy (Toby?) has to go next. Why they've been fanwanking over him, I never understood.

Presumably, whoever takes over will get the car Honda developed for 09; then they'd have to *simply* fund the staff and the drivers for the year. There's going to be a load of cost-cutting stuff in 2010 too, namely the cheap Cosworth engine.
