  1. Be wary, some of the games from around that time don't work on Vista. Dunno if that'll have an impact on you or not. Oh, and the funniest league position at the moment in my game is Newcastle, having been 3rd, 2nd, 2nd and 3rd in the past four seasons, now being in 18th and having won two games out of 14. Chelsea, who finished 2nd in the last season, are also down on 14th. Leaving my two title rivals at the moment being Spurs...and Wolves. And they're both 11 points behind already. Yay my awesome team!
  2. Pfft. You kids with your 2009 games. You should join me and be all retro playing Champ Man 97/98. I have an oddly balanced United team that features Ronaldo, Del Piero and Gifton Noel-Williams.
  3. Margaret's horrified faces <333.
  4. Didn't Jenson have a contract to go back to Renault in like, 03/04 (in other words, when they actually started developing good cars) and decided to stay with BAR?
  5. Perfect F3, really. Won't happen, because Gokrap is bound to be F3. Kris <33333 though. That said, Gaybert for the win.
  6. I've become hooked on the Sunset Takeover, who have got six songs out on iTunes, all of which are covers of songs by female artists. Their version of Poker Face is actually awesome, and I might even like it more than GaGa's original. Which is kind of blasphemy, but...ya never know.
  7. In fairness, that race win with Honda was helped quite a bit by the fact that Alonso fucked up, Michael kept on going off the road, Kimi crashed, and that left his biggest opposition as Pedro de la Rosa. So...yeah. And if you want to talk about Vettel's racing ability, then I point out Monza and the fact that he beat a McLaren in a Toro Rosso. Or Brazil when he kept up with Hamilton even before it started raining.
  8. General game, I believe. Article with link to another article.
  9. For anyone that's interested, Championship Manager is coming out within the next couple of weeks, and the previews have been giving it a lot of praise. Especially over "Soccer Manager" which is buggy and has awful AI, apparently.
  10. For a second I was ready to lead the invasion to Switzerland to get Buemi...but Vettel seems fine.
  11. Why do people always rank Season 7 in the same group as Season 8? Yes, it was only Doug Naylor on both series, but Season 7 was lightyears better than 8. It just seems that a lot of people hate on Season 7, but it had a fair few decent episodes (along with a couple of bad ones, admittedly). It just seems rather unfair. As an aside, what's everybody's favourite episode? I think mine is Gunmen of the Apocalypse, personally - just a brilliant episode with soooo many funny moments. Back to Reality is good too, if only for the "Bullet, Cybernautics" - "That's traffic control" moment, that constantly cracks me up.
  12. So, diffuser row is set to come to an end tomorrow, as the FIA decide whether or not the cars are legal. Out of sheer interest, here is what would the results would look like for the first two races if the six diffuser cars were thrown out... AUSTRALIA MALAYSIA Which would leave the Drivers table looking like this: ...so...yes. I still doubt that they're going to throw the diffuser cars out or even find it illegal, but this season could get even more interesting/confusing if they do. Plus, Heidfeld would finally have won a race.
  13. It could be that Jacob used to be the leader of the Island as a whole, and he ended up just defaulting to the Others. It would explain why Locke and Hurley could find him too.
  14. I honestly thought it was quite good. The first part was, at least. When they got to the shop, it was a bit weird, but otherwise I thought it was funny. I'm wondering what's up with all the gold things that the Cat keeps on dropping. Rimmer killing the other Hologram was brilliant, if only because it's nice to see Rimmer get one up on people every now and again. Also, I'm guessing Kochanski's going to be in it. The references to Series 9 & 10 are interesting too...I wonder if they're actually planning on having another series off the back of this? One final thing - I wonder if this is all fake, ala "Back to Reality"? I'd take a wild stab at the fact that the squid in the water tank is in fact the Despair Squid, and it's causing them to lose it. I'd love it if they get broken out of it by Holly again. I can see this either having a really good ending, or a really, really bad one...
  15. It's possible that Rimmer died but came back as a Hologram in the mirror universe that the others ended up in...
  16. It was good as a set-up episode, I suppose. The bit with Rimmer missing their plight on the sonar and Cat being oblivious was probably the best bit of this episode. Although I wasn't loving the lack of explanation for their survival after the last episode, and the graphics for the entire ship AND the scutter's. Won't be as bad though when we get to Earth, I guess.
  17. PapiJump is ridiculously fun for a simple game. Especially when you have "Mmm Papi" playing in the background >_>
  18. Yeah, TNA's game is kind of a wrestling RPG. Matches are done by selecting moves, and with some counters you have to do actions using the touch screen in order to get out of the move. It seems to have been getting rather good reviews...in comparison with Legends of Wrestlemania, which is meant to be unresponsive and hideously overpriced.
  19. Errr...depends on what kind of racing you want. Crash Nitro Kart is alright, I suppose. Aqua Moto is a jetski racing game that's actually a lot of fun - it's probably the game I've played the most overall. You can tune it up and there's a pretty in depth career mode with an intelligent-ish AI (more so the further you advance). The only other one I'm aware of that's meant to be alright is 2XL Supercross, which was released yesterday and is meant to graphically stunning. But it's expensive and there's no career mode. Oh, and Fieldrunners > all. It's such a fun and awesome game. That and getting my laptop to start running Warlords Battlecry have made this a good week.
  20. What's Virtual Villagers like? I keep on seeing reviews saying it doesn't work...
  21. It seems odd that there's no thread for these, because there are some rather good ones (cue someone pointing out a thread from like, a month ago). Right now, I'm playing Glyder, which is kind of a Spyro-ish game in terms of flying round and collecting crystals, but not the enemies. Good graphics though, and it's actually very in depth once you get used to it. Lots of achievements that keep you playing, too. It's fairly new and so far it's only at £1.19 in the UK App Store, so probably not much more around the world. There's a few other good games out - the TapTap games are always good, even if they generally don't have overly well-known bands/songs (albeit TapTap Coldplay was released earlier this week). Flight Control's very cheap and very addictive too...so, yeah. Anybody else playing?
  22. tasuka.mybrute.com Fitting that of all the weapons...I have a baton.
  23. So, the results as they stand is: 1 - Button 2 - Heidfeld 3 - Glock 4 - Trulli 5 - Barrichello 6 - Webber 7 - Hamilton 8 - Rosberg Which means the drivers standings are... 1st - Button, 15 pts. 2nd - Barrichello, 10 pts. 3rd - Trulli, 8.5 pts. 4th - Glock, 8 pts. 5th - Heidfeld, 4 pts. 6th - Alonso, 4 pts. 7th - Rosberg, 3.5 pts. 8th - Buemi, 2 pts. Brawn pull out a little bit more on Toyota in the Constructor's, too. I think that it's a shame for Rosberg too, because he was leading for a good part of the race and ended up only getting half a point. I do think it's going to be fairly odd now that Trulli, Webber and Rosberg are doing to end the season with .5 next to all their points though...
  24. Hmmm...didn't Jenson & Timo complete the lap a few seconds before the red flag appeared? We're not going to have a Kimi-Fisi Brazil incident again, are we?
  25. It looks like win number two for Jenson, but then again, Glock deserves the win just as much and maybe even more. He was pretty much cutting through everyone...but I don't think that there'll be any racing if there is a restart. Just a slow, safety car driven race for 12 laps to get to full points. But I don't even think we'll get that, right now. Totally the FIA's fault, because they knew the risk of wet weather at this time of day.
