  1. Michelle McManus is back!
  2. Adele's Portugeuse now?
  3. You know, for cheesy Europop, this isn't that bad. Thing is, this guy keeps on trying to rap over the cheesy Europop part. The beat for the chorus sounds like "Can't Get Over", to a degree.
  4. I think their bigger problem is that while the song appears to want to be lively, she's not got a powerful enough voice to pull it off. Finland...oh dear, here's their "IF WE GO ROCK WE'LL WIN AGAIN" thing. ...or maybe not.
  5. "My hips are ready to glow"...really?
  6. Neither of thsoe brothers are hot. The guitairst with the scarf who's hanging out in the back is. Wasn't this guy the devil in the Azerbaijani entry last year?
  7. She's quite good. The previous lot, who's country I don't even remember, were not.
  8. "I wonder if they're the only two gay fans of Eurovision"...oh dear. Please let that be oozing with sarcasm that this guy's voice doesn't put across. Oh. Oh dear. Tragic hair.
  9. It's actually not that bad a song. Compared with some of the shit that's been out tonight. I'm looking at you, Czech Republic. ETA: Speaking of shit, look at his hair and her eyebrows.
  10. Not only is she a poor Shakira impersonator, she's not even singing. The one doing the most is the guy in jeans.
  11. Blonde singer. Oh, Turkey sent belly dancers. Original.
  12. This Swiss entry is quite good. And I liked Belarus (the one with the chick kind of floating in the air), but that guy's hair was RIDICULOUS.
  13. Red Bull, Toyota, Toro Rosso too. BMW have voiced concerns, I think.
  14. I love how everyone's saying "FERRARI HAVE QUIT", when nothing is actually confirmed.
  15. Ah yes, the ultimate singing contest starts tonight in good ol' Moscow. The televoting system is out, replaced with...a televoting system AND a jury vote, in some weird Strictly Come Dancing kind of thing. I think that's how the Dance Contest works, too, so...yeah. The UK, shockingly, are being given a slither of hope as a result, and add to that the fact we have kickass Jade Ewen and Andrew Lloyd Webber on stage, we might just have a chance at a top 10 finish. Which would be nice. LOL at whoever gave us 4th favourite position though. So, yeah, it starts tonight with the first Semi Final. Some Maltese fat chick is on tonight, and she's meant to be very good. But on Thursday, there's the favourite, the Norwegian entry: Me <3 Alexander Rybak.
  16. I bought "Best Shots" today, the best of Pat Benatar. And I'm kind of <3ing it alot, especially since the version of Hit Me With Your Best Shot on this is slightly different to the version I had before.
  17. Also, anyone think that whenever Mark Webber appears on screen, the BBC should just instinctively cut the audio, because it's more likely than not that he'll swear >_>. Although I did love Jenson going "How'd he get here?" when Webber suddenly appeared next to him in the top three area.
  18. Jenson wins...again...but really, I was hoping for a Rubens win. I think it would have been nice, really, and Jenson wouldn't have lost much in the championship - only 3 points over Vettel. I do wonder if Webber's problems immediately after the first pit stop cost him the win though, because the five seconds he lost on the out lap would have been more than enough to get out ahead of Rubens. Oh, and once again, LOL Ferrari. Not being able to fuel a car correctly...bwahaha. Heidfeld was like, 25 seconds behind with four laps to go and finished a second behind. And Massa couldn't even finish the in lap. Just a bad weekend all round for Ferrari, but I think they've moved up a bit in the Constructors, so...they can take that, I suppose. Brawn are about 30 points ahead of RBR though.
  19. My God, Legard is the worst commentator EVER. The guy was talking for about 30 seconds about Button being in trouble by being behind Massa and Vettel, by he'll still be able to get some points - while the entire time, the screen is showing Button well ahead of the other two. Ugh.
  20. Well...that was a rather close end to Qualifying. Button came out of nowhere, pretty much, to take Pole then..
  21. Ughhhh...I don't want Massa to get Pole. The only thing I'm taking from this is the fact that Ferrari are generally good in Spain...so maybe Massa's just doing alright thanks to the track (which'll probably happen in Istanbul, too). Hamilton out in 14th is always funny to see, too. Anyone else thinking a Rubens victory?
  22. The only reason I can see Jacques coming back is that he has the experience. Oh, and LOL Ferrari at fucking up Qualifying once again.
  23. If I recall, he was actually about 5th or so by the time the race stopped in Malaysia, and lest we forget he was leading - convincingly - in China until the tyres and traffic completely fucked him over. I think that the Williams car just generally kind of sucks over long periods, and he needs to get out of there ASAP. I think he'd be wise snooping either at BMW to replace Heidfeld (or Kubica if he leaves), or maybe even at Brawn, since I don't see Rubens staying longer than this season (because now he has a car that he can respectably retire in, unlike the Honda). I honestly wonder what the grid is going to look like this time next year. It's pretty obvious that USGP are going to nab one of the three new spots, since Bernie all but confirmed them a while back - and who they'll have driving for them is a complete mystery. I mean, even Jacques Villeneuve is up for it, along with Danica Patrick (and one would presume Scott Speed might get a look in if you're going to go for F1 experience). Aston Martin/Prodrive will probably go and snatch a couple of British drivers, while if Super Aguri returns, one would naturally assume that they'd draft Taku back in along with Davidson. Then you've got the rumour that Alonso is off to Ferrari, while Bernie is determined to get Vettel out of the Red Bull and to one of the "bigger" teams (although whether that's necessary or not is a different matter right now). Kubica is bound to jump out of the BMW at this rate, while Lewis is seemingly questioning McLaren. Really, the only two drivers I can see being in the same cars they are in right now by the start of 2010 are Nick Heidfeld, Timo Glock, Mark Webber and (probably) Jenson Button...

    Sitting at gigs

Being in the seats to see the Scissor Sisters = </3. Being at the very front of the stage to see the Scissor Sisters = Every gay 16 year old's dream. That was such a gooooood night.
  25. I love how everyone was going "WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN WHEN WE GET TO BARCELONA"...and it's Brawn, Red Bull, Toyota, Williams as the main four. And Brawn still kick ass. I have a feeling those 50 points will become 60+ come Sunday...
