  1. The only thing I'll be bothered about from all this is the lack of Deadliest Warrior.
  2. I don't care if any of what I'm looking forward to is too mainstream, it's my thing Anyway - I'd be excited for it no matter what, but obviously I have to say "Born This Way" by Lady GaGa, but I'm especially excited given what she's already performed of it. You and I is a great little song and Born This Way (all two lines she sang) seemed to be of the same ilk, which would be a massive step away from the sounds of Poker Face and Bad Romance, so here's hoping for something new. Jake Shears has said that the Scissors are already in the studio recording the next album, so it looks like for one there won't be a stupidly long 2-3 year wait in between. Of course, they said this in between "Scissor Sisters" and "Ta-Dah" and had a whole other album written before "Night Work", so I'll hold my celebration back a little. Finally, I'm looking forward to getting Tiger Suit in a week or so when it's released. I've listened to Weirdo far too much already, but again, it sounds a little different to the usual fare that KT's done, so I'm looking forward to it that little bit more.
  3. 1. Homer Simpson (Simpsons) 2. Bugs Bunny (Looney Tunes) 3. Dick Dastardly (Wacky Races + Flying Machines) 4. Stewie Griffin (Family Guy) 5. Brian Griffin (Family Guy) 6. Sylvester the Cat (Looney Tunes) 7. Slappy Squirrel (Animaniacs) 8. Roger the Alien (American Dad) 9. Bender B. Rodriguez (Futurama) 10. Brain (Pinky & The Brain)
  4. I'm sure I heard something about another error in his pit stop. I think he was the first one of the leading cars to pit, too, so he was always going to be at a disadvantage (it seemed that the later you stopped the better in this race). I'm looking forward to seeing what he does around Brazil since he did so well there last year; if it weren't for just how well the top five have done, I'd have put money on him winning a race this year.
  5. I don't think 3rd at Spa = cruise control, really. Only thing that's got on top of him recently is that Rosberg seems to have been able to get some good results (but that could just be because of the uniqueness of Spa + Monza) that's moved him ahead in the table. He's still doing stupidly well this season, especially since he's ahead of Schumi by about 60 points. Hopefully Renault keep Petrov and Williams keep the Hulk, if only because it'll be nice to see them give rookies a second season. I'd imagine Hulkenburg will stay, but Petrov has to deal with Kimi, Glock and Heikki all going for that seat too, it seems. Although I'm guessing Liuzzi's not going to be at Force India much longer so that seat should hopefully be free.
  6. YAY, Heidfeld is confirmed as replacing de la Rosa for the rest of the season. Ultimately it's the best move that Sauber could have done, Pedro really wasn't performing and I always thought it was an odd decision - especially when they had either Heidfeld or Fisi, two much more recently employed drivers, available from the beginning of the season.
  7. Marcos' sig made me think that BRVI had been announced. Boo.

  8. It's not a sport that many people follow, I know, but I think this is going to be a big thing over the next couple of days; Shoya Tomizawa, who races in Moto2 (the new B series for Moto GP, as it were) was killed in a horrific accident during the San Marino GP today. Quite shockingly they continued the race after the accident even though it was obvious that he was seriously injured, which sort of calls back to Senna and Ratzenberger all those years ago. As if it weren't tragic enough, he was only 19 and this was only his second real season in any major competition. He was also the guy that I'd been supporting throughout the season so far ever since he won the first race, so it's particularly gutting in a way for me. Alex de Angelis and Scott Redding are reportedly alright after the accident (they hit Tomizawa after he had come off his bike just in front of them), which is good news in itself but it panes in comparison to what happened. RIP Tomizawa http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/motorbikes/8970385.stm
  9. RIP Shoya Tomizawa. Ugh...

  10. I normally play as a girl if it allows me to, but that isn't really a big surprise for me I'd have thought. The only game I can think of where I've not is something like Harvest Moon, since they tend to bring out the female option, but I just don't get it there . Although I'm going to have to play as the guy character in the new Pokemon games since the girl's hair is stupid and would annoy me far too quickly.
  11. I miss the ability to breathe properly.

  12. Cars and Ratatouille are the only Pixar films I can't watch again because they were just...bleh. Compared to most films they're good, not when you compare them with the other Pixar films though. I voted for Monsters Inc. because it legitimately is one of my favourite films of all time. The amount I celebrate when I heard about the sequel probably only verified that fact. I love Bugs Life, Toy Story 2 and WALL-E though as well, they're all just as strong in my mind.
  13. For the life of me I have no idea why people like Eh Eh. It is the one GaGa song that I cannot stand, to the degree that I've stopped it from ever being played on my iTunes and I just let the albums skip over it when it gets played. I think over time I've grown to realise that a lot of the first album is just sort of average: Money Honey, Beautiful Dirty Rich, The Fame being the examples of this. It's gone some hidden gems on there like Summerboy and Boys Boys Boys (the latter might just be for the reaction it gets in gay clubs) but it's not a great album overall. The Fame Monster is awesome though. Only Monster is a bit of a let down for me, since it's just sort of..."bleh". I love all three of the singles, too, especially Alejandro (which apparently is a bit of a divisive one). But then again I'm a GaGa fanboy so, yeah, take my opinion for what it's worth.
  14. Which state does Sandra Bullock's character represent in Miss Congeniality?
  15. Okay then, here's one: what is the name of the character who gets four candycanes in Mean Girls?
  16. They actually managed to wrap up so many loose ends in 11 minutes and it didn't feel forced. Awesome.
  17. My team in FF7 is Cloud, Red and Vincent. Managed to pretty easily destroy Diamond within a couple of turns and before he could do any real damage, now I'm whaling on Ultimate any time I meet him. I've not played this far in to FF7 in yeaaaars and I'm really enjoying it, although the fact it's on the PSP so I can pick it up whenever I want is very handy.
  18. He'd drop to the back of the pack, unless he started 24th in which case he'd...start 24th. I doubt they'll make him start from the bottom of the chicane.
  19. Awesome drives throughout the field, really. Webber drove just as well as he did in the Nurburgring last year to get the win, and probably had it even harder this year because of the way the regulations have changed things. Really nice to see the midfield teams doing brilliantly in the points too, Petrov and Hulkenburg finally showing their potential well and truly. Sauber got their first double points finish too and Kobayashi finishing 14 places up - 9 of those irrgeardless of those that retired - really does show his potential I think. Bad for Kubica since it wasn't his fault, and the Renault chief said that they didn't see Sutil because they were a little too distracted with a three-wheeled Mercedes heading their way. Speaking of Mercedes, they're slipping dangerously close to being caught by Renault right now, especially if Petrov can keep this up and Kubica's run of bad form gets cut out.
  20. So, to follow on from the Domecast last night, I have a pertinent question: Yuffie, whore or not? As annoyed as I was getting with trying to level her back up/morph stuff with the Conformer, I actually think she's probably one of the better members of the game right now (I'm around the Gelnika). I enjoy using her a lot more than characters like Cait and Tifa, particularly when she hits All Creation, which kicks all sorts of ass.
  21. The best thing about the entire "scandal" was when Coulthard pointed out to Eddie Jordan that he'd done the exact same thing at Spa in 1998, forcing EJ to be made to look more and more like the utter idiot he is.
  22. Didn't they very quickly realise that Klien was far superior in the car to Liuzzi though and stick with him for the majority of the season? Also, I'm pretty sure that was an already established plan that they were going to do that, this seems like HRT making it up as they go along.
  23. Interestingly, the press release said that he was "likely" to be back at races later in the season. So that sounds more like Yamamoto is going to be around a little bit longer than just Hockenheim. Also, Toro Rosso have said that Buemi & Alguesuari are racing for them in 2011, but now Buemi's saying that he's not agreed anything yet (apparently Renault want him).
  24. Scissor Sisters Laura Filthy/Gorgeous Music is the Victim I Don't Feel Like Dancing Kiss You Off Any Which Way Lady GaGa Poker Face Paparazzi Disco Heaven Bad Romance Alejandro No Floods
