  1. The United players genuinely look frightened when they get the ball. It's like they know as soon as they get it, the Barca players will be at them and they want rid of it as soon as they can.
  2. It looks like the Renault mid-season slump has started a little early, to be honest. They tend to start and finish seasons well; the only reason they did well in Monaco last year is because Kubica is unstoppable in Monaco. Also, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA, Lewis has been penalised to 9th for cutting a chicane. Watch as he decides that a Toro Rosso driver holding a poster of Michael Schumacher distracted him on the corner of that chicane and complains about it >_>
  3. I doubt Gutierrez is going to be able to race tomorrow, I'm sure there's a rule that says you can only drive if you've driven in at least one practice session. I'm also gonna guess that Perez will be back in time for the next race. I'm presuming, therefore, they'll leave his spot on the grid open, which will be handy for Rubens at the start of the race.
  4. That didn't look *that* bad, that's the odd thing. Perhaps because Rosberg's crash was arguably "worse", it just didn't lead him in to that barrier in the middle.
  5. 75 minutes left in the Pop Prom. Oh yeah. That's how far I'm pushing this.

  6. and now 14 hours or so to vote in the Pop Prom. Remember the penalty, people.

  7. So, the jury/televoting results have been announced now. Azerbaijan won the televote and came 2nd in the jury vote, which means it's the first time since the split results came back that the winner didn't get 1st in both televote and jury. Italy demolished everyone in the jury vote, which reeks a little bit of pandering to the Italians to keep them happy and around for a while. Blue came 5th in the televote but were 22nd in the jury, which is apparently about right since their jury performance was meant to be god awful and worse than they were on the night itself. Jedward did better with the juries than they did the televoting, too. The televote also helped Greece and Sweden massively. It's also a bit depressing to see Russia came 7th in the televote but 25th and last in the jury; it wasn't *that* bad but I suppose if you wanna show some eastern european bias, it's there. Certainly the televote top 10 was split between East & West though, so it's not like it's still an obvious thing.
  8. 24 hours, more or less, left to vote in the Pop Prom. Lots of you need to do so.

  9. Hamilton has made some ridiculous claim saying that Toro Rosso cars were blocking him when he was trying to catch Vettel and that the stewards need to "watch out" because they're helping Red Bull. Promptly rebuked by Christian Horner pointing out the fact that Jaime "cost" Webber the chance at the world title back in Abu Dhabi by not exactly getting out of the way for him, as well as Jenson saying that he's never seem anything like that and that he thinks the Toro Rosso drivers would much rather be beating RBR than helping them. This also comes after Hamilton accused Schumacher of blocking him as well. I genuinely have not hated a driver this much since Schumacher during his unstoppable season. But that was more out of anger of the fact the sport had turned so boring. I don't mind Vettel winning it so much because he's a nice guy at heart. Lewis, meanwhile, is turning in to a bitter and annoying twat who seems to be trying to blame everyone but himself over the fact he can't beat Vettel right now (especially in a race where there's no reason - given the tools he had compared to Vettel, a working KERS and full DRS - that he couldn't have beaten Vettel). He believes his own hype far too much.

    Glee

I wouldn't be surprised if they follow through with the "Sue runs for office" idea, shockingly. Some awkward set up where she to pose for nice pictures with the Glee Club. Yeah, the finale sucked. Like, there were some good bits - Rachel and Kurt, Kurt and Blaine trading "I love you" and Sam & Mercedes being together - but the rest of it was just so painful. They've gone from being the plucky high school glee club to being able to throw together numbers on the day of the god damn competition? And seriously, Will's constant "we can win this!" got tiresome. You made it to nationals for the first time and up against 49 other regional champions, know your odds. The fact they came 12th on one of the weaker Rachel/Finn duets and then a song that was nowhere near as good as "Loser Like Me" (which in itself was just a poor version of Raise Your Glass), they should be celebrating it. Good to see that Jesse was vindicated though in saying that Finn ruined it. I'll still watch it next season; thankfully the really good bits are good enough to keep me going. The season had a very good mid-section in between Sectionals and Regionals I though, but then it all came crashing back down before Nationals. It's getting incredibly hard to root for them and that's the big problem.
  11. Someone remind me NEVER to attempt a WarGames match again.

Plus, DDP won WarGames 98 with a pin. That was my main reference given the numbers of teams >_>

      SPOILERS GUYS, JEEZ

    4. tristy
  12. I believe Parade were formed to try and combat the Saturdays, then when they failed they sent out Wonderland. Who also failed. Not that the Saturdays have ever done particularly well, I'm still pretty sure they've never had a number one.

    Doctor Who

I twigged it the second he took a bit too long to realise his feet were burning in the acid.
  14. There's no point in Renault repairing it in time for Q3 after Webber and Kobayashi's performances. Especially considering they can save so many option tyres since nobody is going to be runnin the primes.
  15. Ferrari's new rear wing has been ix-nayed by the FIA, unsurprisingly. They're therefore not exactly doing well in the third practice session >_>
  16. Oh, the album isn't a classic by any stretch of the word. The first two thirds of it though - bar maybe Marry The Night - are incredible though. I genuinely don't know what my favourite song is off the album because there are about 8-9 songs that I really like. It's just let down by the three towards the end (Highway Unicorn, Heavy Metal Lover and Electric Chapel) because they don't go anywhere. They're like, the definition of filler, which was a problem with the first album. It's probably as strong as The Fame Monster was, but it's not better than it, which I think a few people expected it to be. She's still got an amazingly high standard to reach though, of course. I've also found myself randomly screeching "HOOOOOKER!" in the middle of the house...
  17. I'm over Sutil now. As much as I've tried to support him he's become bland, boring and consistently outside the points. I'd much rather he get his superlicence suspended and bring the Hulk in.
  18. >_> Touché, sir. Still, only four of the top ten were Eastern bloc if you want to look at it that way. Don't quite get why Ukraine/Denmark did so well and Greece was a joke, but they always do well in Eurovision so that explains it a bit more.
  19. Hm. Someone has pointed out that Bulgaria gave us 12 points. Not to look in to it too much, but do they want to apologise over anything to the UK? Maybe something recent in the news...
  20. She didn't perform it that well in the end, if only because she was clearly out of breath. Still, very happy that they won and that I got fifty five quid of it
  21. Azerbaijan just won me 50 quid
  22. Italy in second I never expected.
  23. People are going to be annoyed with "Boo Eastern Bloc" but the eastern bloc were just...better.
