Just finished my first season with Chester

I must say that I am happy with this result as after I posted how I was doing earlier I went around 8 games without a win and even after the win I still could not fine a good winning streak. I dropped down to about 22nd before I got on a late season run and lifted myself out up to 18th. Now time to find out what the off season holds for me.

How do you search for players on free transfers as I thought I was doing that but it said I would have to compensate the other team 80,000 and that is not what we call free.

I think new era hit it on the mark as I was offering loans to people that just weren't playing. Of course now my Goalies have gotten healthy again so now I don't need the loans. Heh.

So I started up my old copy of Football Manager 2006 and started a game with Chester in Leauge Two so I can run in and find out about the whole English leauges system. I have played 15 games so far in which I have won 5 and tied 4 leaving me in the 14th spot.

I would of won or drew a lot more if I haven't had the worst luck imagined with my Goalies. A quick run down of everything that happened with my goalies.

7/25/05 - Gillet(#1 keeper) damaged his neck in a match out 2 weeks.

8/25/05 - Gillet(#1 keeper) pulled hamstring in training out 4 weeks.

8/27/05 - MacKenzie(#2 keeper) bruised thigh out 2 weeks.

9/12/05 - MacKenzie(#2 keeper) damaged neck out still(about a month)

Also the match that Gillet came back from his second injury he gets a late red card and cost me the match.

Total matches played for my Goalies(15 matches total)...

Gillet - 7 matches started

MacKenzie - 5 matches started

Brookfield(18s) - 2 matches started and 1 match subbed in

Freeman(Reserved and grayed out for me) - 1 match started

Also when I was in need of a Goalie and I sent out loan offers no one accepted. How do you get teams to accept loan offers?

Is there like a faq or something that I can use that well give me advice on how to play this game as I am a dumb American and I really don't know what to look for in the poisitions and what to do with the match planning in what not. So all I need is for just something for the unknowledge to use as I really don't know European Football.

WHOOOO my team won in the playoffs. We were the number eight seed and we knocked off number one. What is better about it is that number one beat us three games earlier and today we dominated them 35-10. WHOOOOOOOOOOOO Only upset in our playoffs so far. Next game we play is a team we beat earlier in the year so looks like my team has a great chance to make a run. WHOOOOOOO

Ah yes, Running Scared. When I went and saw that movie I was so drunk everything was blurry and I don't remember a thing about it except I think a gun in the toliet and a hockey rink? I think.

Well anyway I think Street Kings could be good, possibly, and might go see it.

PS2 and PS2 slimline are both mine.

Next year in the apartment I am getting with a few friends there shall be a PS3(friends) as well as I will probably buy a next gen console.

So what are everyone playoffs hopes? Currently my team is in the 8th slot. With a win we are ensure the playoffs with a chance to move up as far as 5th or 6th seed. If we lose we still have a chance but we need another team to lose and we should hopefully sneak in.

Ok people in this thread can you convince me I need a 360? I don't really think I need one because I have a DS, PSP, PS3 and a Wii. But Xbox Live, the exclusive games, the fact that nearly everyone has a mike plus that their not overly expensive is making me want one. Can anyone make me 100% sure I want one, else I won't get one. Well if you need the money for training tell him no. He can either cut you and than you can sign with a new team or you can sit out your contract but you don't have to take the lower pay.

A pokemon game for the next gen consols that you can choose where you start as you have every region as a choice and maybe even reason why you moved there and such like that. Have amazng graphics where you run around and have some maybe some close range third person perceptic when you are running around. The game would be amazing and transform the gaming industry.
