See, as a Mavs fan now I hate the Kidd trade. Chris Paul molested the Mavericks last night, and I have a feeling its only going to get worse. God I hate the Spurs, but that was a super clutch performance and sadly I think the Lakers are the only team that can really finish them off and not leave them openings to come back. Cavs are going to win that series, LeBron will carry them through it after all the trash talking the Wizards have been doing.

I only worry about Tony in the playoffs. Eli still needs to show he can win at home before I predict the Giants to win the division. I don't think their miraculous playoff streak will keep going. LT is always going to be the smartest #1 overall choice untill he shows otherwise. I doubt he'll be the consensus pick, as people will be all about Peterson, who I'm sure will do well, but its all about LT if you have #1.

You can set it all back to classic one button, or last years swing stick. Its the same as it always is, solid game, it doesn't flow as well this year, but ithat isn't enough to ruin the experience. Seems like home runs don't come as easy this year either. I'm using classic one button pitching, but the analog stick pitching has gotten alot of praise and was pretty fun when I tried it out. I'm doing a Mariners franchise and I just had my first No Hitter in any baseball game ever, and it happened to take 10 innings to finish it off, did it with Pedro. Hmm upon further review, that was a 10 inning Perfect Game, as no one reached first.

Don't worry about those Packers monday night games. If Rogers doesn't pan out they'll be flexed out immediately. Only one game for the Cowboys is a little odd, we're usually Monday Night darlings.

New viral stuff has popped up lately, allegedly tied in with the sequel. Alot of it doesn't seem to connect, including a strange diagram that involves a picture of an alien very reminiscent to the Alien 3 logo. Then there's a video called "The Night Shot" which is pretty interesting, but after watching it, it seems like it'd have more to do with Reeves' Invisible Woman field than anything Cloverfield related. Of course then there's viral stuff which has the original 01-18-08 scrambled, there's a map of the New York City subway system floating around, and a video of basically the scene from the teaser with the explosion being watched from a rooftop, but its not in New York, it appears to be in Germany. So maybe the monster is going global.

So I'm working on a website for class, its going to be a Friday The 13th fan site. It doesn't have to be anything spectacular and we're just doing it in Dreamweaver. Now, for the homepage, I've come up with the following so far... Spoiler: Click here to view Now, on the left side I want to put in links to the other pages, each one will be about on of the films. I'm just looking for some advice on what I should put those links on. I don't think a standard menu box type thing would fit with the overall feel, so I'm looking for other ideas. One I was throwing around was putting a battered peice of Camp Crystal Lake stationary, and writing "Choose a Film" followed by roman numerals for the links, all written in a Friday the 13th font I have, or in another that will make it look like they are written in blood. Stationary I made looks like this: Spoiler: Click here to view My only problem is that when I try and implement that idea, it doesn't look like it fits in with the rest of the homepage image. So any suggestions on how I could fix that or what else I could do? Using Photoshop CS2 to put this together.

It's being reported that Pacman Jones has been traded to the Cowboys for a 5th round pick. Thank you Jerry Jones, you make it oh so easy to like the team. Well, if he gets reinstated and stays out of trouble (which he won't) thats an absolute steal. If/When he gets in trouble and is subsequently kicked out of the league, its not that bad of a pick to waste on him. Tank Johnson and Pacman on the same team, yeah this can end well. EDIT: Apparently this is being disputed currently. But its almost definately going to happen, so refer to my comments once it does.
