  1. Red Dead Redemption was also more of a spiritual successor to Red Dead Revolver than a sequel. I think they're set in different narrative universes.
  2. Kotaku is reporting that Rockstar is looking into a Red Dead Redemption remaster as well. Could we finally be getting a PC version after all this time?
  3. There are a lot of rumours about remasters of GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas coming soon to PC, Switch, Xbox, Playstation and Mobile. The graphics are said to be slightly improved and the UI will be different, but the gameplay will remain similar. I think they really, really need to add mid-mission checkpoints. Having to drive halfway across the map to restart a mission every time you fail, and then having to complete it in one try, was bad design back in 2001, let alone now. Getting all the old songs back should be a top priority as well. The Steam version patched some of them out because the licences had expired.
  4. It's cross-gen, so no need to splash out just yet.
  5. I've just tried Ace Attorney for the first time. It's a shame I waited so long. I like it.
  6. They couldn't even boss the French league last season.
  7. Humankind is coming to Game Pass at launch.
  8. Jason Kenny has won his seventh gold medal, and his ninth medal overall. He's won gold medals at four consecutive Games now.
  9. I think the first few Far Cry games were set on an island. You might be talking about Far Cry 3, which I also couldn't get into.
  10. I wonder what odds you could have got on the men's 100m, 200m and 4x100m all being won by athletes representing neither USA nor Jamaica.
  11. Italy: capital of the male sprinting world.
  12. Dina Asher-Smith gets a medal after all. Laura Kenny has also won another gold medal, her fifth in total in the third different Olympic Games. I was in the audience when she won her first. And Laura Muir has also finally won an Olympic medal. She took silver in the 1500m with a new British record.
  13. More like Yakuza: Like a Hideo Kojima Game.

    South Park

I don't think all the films are necessarily going to be South Park-related.
  15. The silver medallist is 12 and the gold medallist is 15. I think people must instantly transition from damn kids skating in the streets to adults who whinge about damn kids skating in the streets.
  16. That might have been the most pleasant competition I've seen at the Olympics. All the competitors were smiling, congratulating one another and just generally looking as though they were having the time of their lives.
  17. It's hard to spot any adults in this skateboarding competition.
  18. The Series S games usually target 1440p resolution because its graphical power is inferior to that of the Series X. It has 4k upscaling in games, but it isn't native. Video streaming in 4k is possible, though. The console still runs most games at 60fps and has the same SSD as the Series X, so loading times are just as good. The main drawbacks are lower storage capacity and weaker graphical capability. Mind you, I've seen footage of Microsoft Flight Simulator running on Series S and it looks really impressive. This is a game that good PCs struggle to run, yet the Series S can handle a 30fps frame rate with what would be considered "High" graphical settings on a PC.
  19. 45.94 is an incredible time to run the 400m hurdles. Matthew Hudson-Smith, Britain's top performer, has a season's best in the 400m flat that's only four tenths of a second faster than that.
  20. Meadow Lane was originally going to be one of the venues, so it's annoying for me that it wasn't chosen in the end. London Road was also replaced, so I've missed out on two local-ish grounds. The closest to me now is about three hours or so away.
  21. Do you have the rumble feature installed yet?
  22. I think it's one of the reasons why Microsoft has really accelerated its push for better game streaming provision. Quite a few of the games coming in the next year and beyond will be next-gen exclusive on a hardware level, but will be streamable on the Xbox One, PC and certain phones and tablets. You can already stream quite a few Game Pass games, although your results will depend on your own internet connection.
  23. Italian sport has had a great few weeks. Winning Euro 2021, having a man in the Wimbledon singles final for the first time and having a representative win the 100m are all massive. If you're looking beyond sport, you've also got the Eurovision victory.
