  1. Usyk sounds as though he's dominating. Joshua hasn't used his size advantage at all.
  2. Joshua is a very good technical boxer as well. He couldn't have had the amateur career he did if he wasn't. Usyk is widely regarded as one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the world, though. Besides Briedis, nobody's really come close to beating him. I actually think Usyk might be even more of a problem for Fury, whose major strength is being awkward and counter-punching. With Usyk's rangy jab and speed, I think he could out-Fury Fury.
  3. Usyk is an excellent technical boxer who cleaned up at cruiserweight. If he can avoid Joshua's biggest shots, I think he should win tonight.
  4. Joshua and Usyk fight tonight. My bold prediction is that both Joshua and Fury will lose their title fights.
  5. I'd say Halo sort of bucks a trend for me because I otherwise really don't care for online shooters. I'm not a mega fan of Halo by any means, but I can enjoy a few games online. Hades springs to mind as well. I generally avoid roguelikes because they're usually difficult and frustrating, but Hades' progression system and optional God Mode make the process so much approachable.
  6. Midnight Mass on Netflix has had positive reviews. I've seen the first two episodes and it's a bit of a slow start, but it's kicking into gear now.
  7. I stopped playing after two or three hours. It wasn't quite gripping me. Maybe it gets better after that, but I can't imagine I'll go back unless someone enthusiastically recommends it.
  8. The price is the only factor for me. If there's a decent offer for existing subscribers to upgrade, I may go for it, but I'm not bothered otherwise. I was excited about the NES and SNES support initially, but I've only dipped in here and there. I can't imagine I'd actually spend much time playing the N64 games. As for the Mega Drive/Genesis games, they're already available in the big mega collection thingy, and it's on sale often.
  9. I came into that showcase expecting nothing and was pleasantly surprised. KOTOR, Triangle Strategy, Disco Elysium, Voice of Cards and Mario Party are all games I'm looking forward to, so to think that they're all coming within the next few months is exciting.
  10. This game, along with most of its DLC, is significantly discounted on Steam right now.
  11. MGS3 also has a ghost who haunts you with images of the people you killed, a colonel who can electrocute people by punching them, a centenarian sniper who photosynthesises and an overweight bloke who shoots bees out his mouth.
  12. This is a ridiculously stacked lineup.
  13. Are you on the Download Festival forums?
  14. I just use Only Commentary nowadays. It's a timesaver.
  15. I'm seeing reports that Best Buy might have PS5s and Series X consoles in stock on Thursday.
  16. When zombie games call their zombies something else. Calling them infected, walkers, freakers or anything else doesn't make the idea cleverer or more original. Just own the fact that you're using zombies and let the gameplay speak for itself.
  17. The platforming in the first game is the stuff of nightmares.
  18. You get a full recap of the first game, along with the VR follow-up, at the beginning of 2. You really don't need to go back to the first to understand what's going on.
  19. The Artful Escape is one of the most surprisingly enjoyable games I've experienced in a while. It looks and sounds fantastic. Some people won't be keen on the lack of challenging gameplay, but I don't think it needs it. It's a relaxing experience with memorable moments, and that's just fine. Have you tried Psychonauts 2 yet? That's on Game Pass as well. I had a lot of fun with it.
  20. Actually, it's about famous racing driver Michael Schumacher. Wait, no. That just sounds ridiculous. Carry on.
  21. Or Harald Schumacher, the greatest violent goalkeeper in World Cup history.
  22. I thought it was a closer look at the Batman film franchise after Tim Burton's departure.
  23. It's official now. John Terry was rumoured to be in line to replace him, which seems like a big gamble. Chris Wilder would be ideal, but I imagine he's holding out for a better job.
  24. I'll look forward to trying it in a year's time.
