  1. The issue isn't about the ridiculous sex scene. The fact that it wasn't removed from the code just shows how little attention the developers paid.
  2. Apparently, the PC version hasn't been delisted because of bugs, but because it includes files that shouldn't be accessible to players. Some of them are songs that were cut for licensing reasons, and so continuing to sell the game would probably result in some legal ramifications. The Hot Coffee thing is reportedly still referenced in the code as well.
  3. OFC will have an automatic qualifier in 2026. It would be amazing if a nation like the Solomon Islands managed to get through.
  4. Meadow Lane had a National League record crowd of 12,843 today. It was a 2-0 win for Notts as well. Good stuff.
  5. They might as well just cancel the qualifiers and just accept that New Zealand were obviously going to come through anyway. It's still nice to cling to the possibility of New Caledonia making it, though.
  6. I've seen a couple of characters whose faces look about as detailed as a Final Fantasy VII character.
  7. I never made it into the 1 or 100. I know I'd have bottled it if I did, but it would still have been nice.
  8. I can't say I care that the characters look as though they're made of plasticine. It's something I can get used to quickly. I suppose I have lower standards if I know I'm playing a game that's approaching twenty years old, remaster or no. From what I've seen, the games don't run brilliantly on Switch. It seems that they struggle to maintain 30fps, often dropping to around 20fps. While that doesn't make them unplayable, it's still a bit of a shame.
  9. I've been playing San Andreas through Game Pass and am enjoying it. The controls feel better, and it seems they've added checkpoints and autosaves, which is very welcome. I'm actually wondering if it's easier than the original. I finished Wrong Side of the Tracks without any problems at all. Maybe it's because the game's a bit easier to control now.
  10. Jeff Grubb reckons that 1vs100 is coming back.
  11. It isn't hard at all. There really aren't any puzzles. Every decision you make leads to a consequence, so there isn't a failure state to speak of. It's a game about choosing where to go and finding out what happens.
  12. It would have been nice to see Rainbow play Stargazer with Dio, Blackmore and Powell in the 1970s. I could say the same for a fair few of their songs, but Stargazer is the pinnacle of their creative output for me. It's harder to think of examples that are possible. I still haven't seen Metallica live after all these years, so I could go for several of their songs. Perhaps Creeping Death would be top of the list. I've also looked at Iron Maiden's setlists for their Legacy of the Beast tour and would be very keen to see them play Flight of Icarus and The Clansman live. With any luck, I'll get that chance.
  13. I'll look forward to seeing him on the next stop of his "Manage every Championship club" tour.
  14. Squid Game was something I quite enjoyed, but it never reached the lofty heights for me that it seemed to for a lot of other people. I correctly guessed all the big reveals, which I wouldn't necessarily consider to be a bad thing, but there also wasn't anything that really blew me away. I don't really see a great amount of appeal in a second series. With all the success it's had, I can see Netflix stretching the show out more than would be creatively beneficial.
  15. What's strange about Total War: Warhammer is that there's already another acclaimed and popular Warhammer RTS series that's just had another game released. Then you've also got several turn-based strategy games with the Warhammer licence.
  16. Funnily enough, I was thinking about a Game of Thrones Total War game earlier today. You'd think it would make more sense than the apparently rubbish RTS game Game of Thrones had a few years ago. The closest to it is Westeros: Total War, a mod for Medieval II. Speaking of RTS games, I'm enjoying Age of Empires IV. The campaigns are like playable documentaries. I'd have loved it if it came out when I was a child, and I think it could be a good educational tool now.
  17. Those speeds would seem like mega tech from the future to me.
  18. Total War: Warhammer 3 comes out in February. Along with Steam and the Epic Store, it will be on Game Pass at launch.
  19. What We Do in the Shadows Series 3 is now on BBC iPlayer.
  20. That's a new twist on the "Give a man a fish..." proverb.
  21. I'm getting it because I already had over a year's worth of regular Switch Online paid for, meaning that I get a discount on the Expansion Pack membership. I was also going to get the Animal Crossing DLC anyway, so it makes sense for me to go for it.
  22. It's too easy to make a joke about his name.
  23. Remember when the BBC was grooming Barton to be the next "bad-boy-turned-pundit", akin to Robbie Savage?
  24. I hear there's an ex-Man United player who's recently been sacked by a Premier League club. Sounds like a good fit.
