  1. I've been more engaged by Better Call Saul than I was with Breaking Bad, but I think a big part of that is the fact that I've been watching BCS since the start, whereas I only started Breaking Bad when the first half of Series 5 had come out. Watching it on a week-by-week basis has allowed me to think about and reflect on everything, which might have been harder if I watched them all quickly.
  2. I see the UK entry is tipped to not come last.
  3. I like it just as much as Breaking Bad. There's less action, but the character development is just as good in my eyes.
  4. At the moment, Starfield's big selling point is "It's a space game by Bethesda". They haven't said a huge amount about it otherwise. I'm looking forward to it simply because it will be on Game Pass. If I'd have to pay for it separately, I'd have very little interest.
  5. Starfield and Redfall have been delayed to the first half of 2023. Redfall doesn't surprise me at all because we've seen virtually no footage. Starfield was always a bit of an odd one because they announced a specific date almost a year-and-a-half in advance. We've still only seen a few bits of concept art and vague screenshots since then.
  6. He's certainly a charmer.
  7. I predict that Sheffield United will beat Huddersfield in the final.
  8. You must have used your inside contacts to see a prior recording of this qualifying session.
  9. Steve Evans has always been a short-term solution. His attitude to coaching basically amounts to Stephen Fry's portrayal of the Duke of Wellington in Blackadder. It might give a struggling team a boost, but it also tends to mean that players don't want to stay if he's in charge. When he managed Boston, he effectively got through a new squad every season because everyone hated playing for him. I remember talking to Austin McCann about him in 2006, when he'd joined Notts County from Evans' Boston. He said that he's the angriest, most unlikeable manager he'd ever played under.
  10. Even if they're not quite firing on all cylinders, beating Nadal and Djokovic in consecutive matches is still just about the best thing you can do in men's tennis at the moment.
  11. Fortunately for United, sixth place will soon be all they need to get to the Champions League.
  12. And by a reasonably comfortable margin in the end. Not wanting to be pessimistic for you, but I think that it's unlikely that the National League winners (probably Stockport) will be near the relegation zone next season. Stockport, Wrexham and Chesterfield have all spent a lot by National League standards and will be hoping to challenge near the top end of League Two.
  13. I have bad memories of when Sheffield United beat Forest in the playoffs in 2003. Maybe there will be a repeat this year.
  14. Virtual Pro Wrestling was a wrestling game released in Japan on the N64. Its engine was used for those WCW and WWF games. I'm slightly hesitant to believe it straight away because developer of a few other wrestling games over the past twenty years have spoken of similar goals without pulling it off.
  15. I tend to root for EWB teams in the lower leagues, so I hope Doncaster come back up next season. Bournemouth v Forest is tight at the moment. I really hope Forest can do it.
  16. I'm sure he'll keep going. Most people around him say that his "I don't care" attitude is bollocks because he practises hard and plays at almost all the tournaments. I always knew the day would come when he equalled Hendry's record, even though I really hoped it never would. He deserved to win the title, but I don't think any of his opponents played as well as they could. Maybe the thought of facing O'Sullivan had an effect on them, a bit like the opponents of Davis and Hendry in their prime. While I always enjoy snooker, this World Championship was a little disappointing for me. The Williams/Trump semi-final was great, and O'Sullivan's record chase was obviously the thing everyone focused on, but there was a lack of big stories elsewhere. The anticipated Chinese push from Zhao Xintong and Yan Bingtao never materialised, and there wasn't a notable surprise package elsewhere either. Neil Robertson, the best player over the season, didn't really turn up.
  17. I think it's mostly the latter. The three games so far in the rebooted Tomb Raider series have sold a total of 38 million copies, which is more than the entire collection of Gears of War and Mass Effect games put together. I don't recall anyone ever saying that those games were commercial flops.
  18. It's odd that some sports games have missed PC over the years. Madden and FIFA have had years on and years off, and things like UFC never made it over. It's increasingly rare for other genres of games to be console-exclusive.
  19. I'm sure that's what slave owners said.
  20. Sadly, Square remains very keen on getting into NFTs.
  21. I was listening on the radio and it sounded like an exciting fight. It's not always easy to gauge based on radio commentary, but it sounded as though Taylor just about deserved to take the victory. A rematch in Ireland could draw a big crowd.
  22. Bournemouth v Forest on Tuesday will be massive.
  23. How much detail would that involve?
  24. NBA 2k22 has been put on Game Pass today, without having been announced beforehand. FIFA 22 is apparently coming next week as well to coincide with its inclusion on Playstation Plus.
