This is shaping up nicely. I'm not sure all of it will be easily understood by those who aren't already familiar with the source material, such as the references to Maegor (no spoilers here - he was a tyrannical king from the past), but I think it did a fairly good job of explaining who the main characters are.

Based on the radio commentary, it sounded like an Usyk victory, but a narrow one. I don't think you could really make a case for an AJ victory, but it wasn't a thrashing.

It's Joshua vs. Usyk tonight. It ought to be difficult for AJ because Usyk is so good technically. I think the only way AJ can realistically win is by stoppage.

I've read that that's a common issue. A lot of people aren't happy about it, understandably.

I'm seeing mixed reviews for the first few episodes. Some people are really enthusiastic about it, but I've seen more than one reviewer say that the characters aren't very interesting. I wonder how much that has to do with familiarity of the source material. A few are saying that it's too similar to Game of Thrones, which is possibly a bit harsh, given that it's based on GRRM's existing content. If the casual observer sees it as being a Game of Thrones knock-off, though, I hope the viewing figures don't drop too much.

Death Stranding is coming to Game Pass on PC. Quite a surprise for a Sony-published game.

It's been reported that Forest were also close to signing Hassem Aouar. I wonder if that's not happening now that Gibbs-White is arriving.

Isn't the Astro Bot game supposed to be the ideal first thing to try?

I'm talking about the most obnoxious fans, not anyone here. It's the "Us versus the world" mentality that some of them have.

I think there's sometimes a bit of tribalism that comes into play here. If there are bad fans from a club that you don't support, it's indicative that all said club's fans are scumbags who are out to get us. If there are bad fans from your club, they're just part of a minority and the rest of us are all wonderful.

I think Wasteland 3 deserves more attention than it's got.

It's hard to get my head around the fact that we've had eleven series of high-quality continuous dramatic storytelling in this universe. This has been one of very, very few shows whose episodes I could safely assume would all be great ahead of time.

The current bottom three are all David Moyes' current or former teams.

That's a valuable win for Forest. They're still looking a bit error-prone, but they were a lot more creative than they were last week. They've been stubborn in defence over the first two games, which is a good sign.

I know United fans have said that the players aren't good enough, but surely this lineup shouldn't be getting stuffed by Brentford. It's still a team full of established international players.

Imagine thinking ten years ago that Brentford would be leading Man United 3-0 after 30 minutes.

I'm not entirely convinced Jericho actually knows anything about West Ham.

The impression I get is that it's a bit of a slow burn in terms of unlocking things. I think if you get one star on the fourth campus, you can access sandbox mode, which has a lot more freedom.

Maybe this will work.

There's a big Resident Evil Humble Bundle available. Pretty much every RE game released on PC is on there. The top tier costs £24.70, while the bottom tier starts at 82p and has Resident Evil Remake and Revelations 1 and 2 (Episode 1).

It's a shame you have to unlock the sandbox mode.
