  1. It's hard to believe this is only a couple of months away. I've never known a World Cup carry less hype than this one.
  2. Obviously, it's impressive that Verstappen always wins no matter where he starts on the grid, but it's really making me less interested in tuning in.
  3. Four of them are games and there's a Netflix show. One of them is a mobile game, but the others are full releases made by three different teams.
  4. I was drawn to it when it was revealed, but then I found out it has loot boxes and my interest died completely.
  5. I'm sure there will be footage online for years to come.
  6. Albon is out of the race with appendicitis, so Nyck De Vries finally gets to make his race debut.
  7. It's interesting that there hasn't been a teenager who really broke through to the top level in the men's game since Nadal. Borg, Becker, Wilander, Chang and Sampras were teenage Grand Slam champions in past eras, with McEnroe, Hewitt, Djokovic and Del Potro winning at the age of 20. Since then, there have been plenty of promising youngsters who didn't challenge the Big Three (or four when Murray was at his best). I think it's mainly a testament to just how good Djokovic, Federer and Nadal have been. Looking back, it also seems that the US Open is the Slam that's been the most unpredictable in recent years. This century so far, there have been five men and five women who have won their only Slam there. Djokovic has "only" won it three times, whereas he's won the other hard court Slam nine times. No man has won it more than five times and no woman has won it more than six times.
  8. Ruud and Alcaraz will contest the final. I think Ruud would be a more interesting winner as he'd be the first Grand Slam champion from his country. Ditto for Jabeur in the women's final.
  9. I was going to say at a big club, but I didn't want to offend anyone.
  10. It would be nice to see an English manager do well at a Champions League club. I don't think that's happened in even a slight capacity since Bobby Robson.
  11. I'm hoping for a Ruud/Sinner final. That would guarantee a first male singles Slam winner for either Norway or Italy.
  12. Tywin's father was Tytos. He was quite similar in personality to King Viserys.
  13. Oldham's Hallam Hope is in hospital after being assaulted in the stadium's car park. The alleged perpetrator is a Chesterfield player.
  14. Medvedev is out as well. Cilic is the only Grand Slam winner left in the draw now, and I would expect Alcaraz to beat him.
  15. Seems more mixed than beautiful, to be honest.
  16. The other Yakuza games have a different combat styles to Like a Dragon. 0 is probably the best to start with.
  17. Murray, Draper and Evans are in the third round, with Norrie about to attempt to join them.
  18. Rybakina as well. The women's game has been really open and unpredictable for a good while now.
  19. It's been a bit concerning that she's changed coaches so many times already. I think her father has a lot of influence over her career, which has been problematic for plenty of other players in the past. I hope she can have some more stability over the next year.
  20. Norrie and Evans both won.
  21. Victoria 3's release date will be 25th October.
  22. You can definitely still have incidents and safety cars at 16x speed. I don't know if they're any less common or not. Something I've noticed is that the different tyre compounds don't have much difference in terms of track speed. Unless you get a safety car, there's no reason to go with a two-stop strategy if a one-stop is possible. I hope that will be addressed in a patch. I also notice that nobody retires as a result of mechanical failures. You might slow down if your engine, gearbox or ERS is damaged, but you never have to retire unless there's a crash. I think it would be more interesting if things like engine failures and punctures were possible. More off-track events would be nice too. The regular F1 games have so-called "dilemmas" that can come up that can let you make decisions that affect car part development and driver and staff morale. Interaction with your team members is surprisingly lacking.
