  1. We say this every year, but that's a lot of races. 24 seems like too many.

    GTA VI

Between this and the ill-fated GTA remasters, Rockstar hasn't had a good past twelve months.
  3. Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri came off the bench today to become the youngest Premier League player at the age of 15. He wasn't born when Arsenal moved into the Emirates Stadium.
  4. So Alpine will be a French team with a French engine and two French drivers. If only they could bring back Michelin tyres.
  5. Do you have a preference for a particular combat style? Fire Emblem: Three Houses is an excellent tactical game and Octopath Traveler has good traditional turn-based combat. Dragon Quest XI, Shin Megami Tensei V and Bravely Default 2 are some of the popular JRPGs on the platform. Also, Persona 5 is coming to Switch soon and that's a good time.
  6. Remasters of the first two Suikoden games are coming next year. That must be the first good announcement Konami has made in years.
  7. Federer will retire after next month's Laver Cup.
  8. He's pretty much the voice of rugby alongside Bill McLaren.
  9. This was the case for FM21, but I've just read that it's possible to add them now that Microsoft has made directory folders accessible for PC games. It looks as though it's a more complicated process than on Steam, though.
  10. I don't think you would be able to install any mods.
  11. With the one-year exclusivity contract with Sony now over, Deathloop is coming to Xbox on Game Pass next Tuesday.
  12. I wish the football season had time for all sorts of competitions. Some sort of top flight all-star competition between different European nations or a tournament with each continent competing against one another would be fun. A British Lions tour akin to the one in rugby union would also be exciting. These are all fantasy scenarios, obviously, because the football calendar doesn't have room for them and the clubs wouldn't want their players to risk injury and fatigue on extra matches for other teams. I'd love to play a Football Manager mod with these ideas, at least.
  13. I'm not sure about your first question, but the version of Perfect Dark in Rare Replay was a remaster based on the XBLA release. The other N64 games on that collection also had smoother frame rates.
  14. It's a bit of a strange one. I'm guessing that letting the Switch have multiplayer exclusivity may have been part of the agreement between Microsoft, which owns Rare, and Nintendo, which, alongside the film company, owns the rights to the game itself. You'd think that people playing the game would like to recreate the old days of four-player multiplayer, which is a bit harder when you're having to do it on a system that doesn't have built-in voice chat. I can see streamers getting together and doing it, but I'm much less sure about "regular" players. Not only that, but online play in other N64 games on Switch seems to be really unreliable.
  15. A leaker has tried to temper expectations by saying that it's going to be showing games of a lower profile. As it's tying in with the Tokyo Game Show, it will primarily focus on games from Japanese studios.
  16. Online multiplayer for Goldeneye is exclusive to Switch. That seems a bit odd.
  17. The recently announced Goldeneye remaster will be coming to Game Pass at launch. Not only that, but if you own Rare Replay, you also get it free.
  18. Pikmin 4 as well. Mind you, the vague 2023 release window means that there's a good chance of a delay.
  19. Goldeneye. It's finally happening.
  20. Ukers can still watch the American broadcast:
  21. A 40-minute Nintendo Direct will take place today at 3pm BST/7am PT/10am ET. According to recent rumours, remasters of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess could be announced.
  22. That doesn't mean a lot to me when they're so easily modded in, but I suppose it's good for the perceived "legitimacy" of the game.
