  1. I'm not sure if this will affect anyone here, but the PS5 version has been delayed to an as-yet unconfirmed date. Apparently, it's something to do with the submissions and approvals process.
  2. PSVR 2 will release on 22nd February 2023 and cost £530/$550. It's rather eye-wateringly expensive, but not unexpectedly so.
  3. Rocksteady is releasing a Suicide Squad game next year, so that might be what you're looking for.
  4. And having the Luxembourg GP at the Nurburgring.
  5. I like to think that he finished the books years ago and has been seeing how long he can annoy his publisher and fans. It would be the greatest elaborate joke in modern literary history.
  6. Return to Monkey Island is coming to Game Pass next week. I've never known something join the service so soon after release, but not on the release day itself.
  7. I remember when pundits were saying that the rule changes would make this year's season more exciting. I think 2015 was the last season that was anywhere near this predictable.
  8. Liverpool are being very charitable to beleaguered clubs at the moment.
  9. I had assumed that Jerry Lee Lewis died a long time ago.
  10. How much of a difference is the 10% restriction on wind tunnel time likely to make? The Red Bull cars are already quite a way ahead of their rivals. It makes me wonder if the big teams will all overspend if the fine doesn't come out of the next year's spending limit.
  11. Good news. They've scrapped the loot box system.
  12. I can't say I've encountered any major bugs myself. Frontier's decision to end support so soon is disappointing, but I think it's a good, solid game in its current state.
  13. Atletico and Juventus might still fail to even get to the Europa League.
  14. George RR Martin has said that he's finished about 75% of The Winds of Winter. Then again, he gave an estimated release year of 2014 at one point, so he's never been a great judge of these things.
  15. I finished Death Stranding yesterday. Against the odds, I really liked it. I think I'm at a point where games that allow me to potter around a bit and feel more satisfaction from trawling across harsh terrain to make a successful delivery than I do from fancy combos and kill streaks. It just felt nice to build structures in the world and feel as though I was contributing to a large-scale constructive effort. The online system, through which you can help other players by supplying materials and tools, really boosts that sense of collaboration as well. Of course, it's full of Kojima's characteristic brand of long-winded codswallop. There are some long cutscenes that explain plot developments you've worked out yourself hours ago, but they're mostly packed in towards the end, by which point you're familiar enough with the characters and setting to tolerate it a bit more easily.
  16. Age of Empires II and IV are coming to Xbox consoles. I wonder how they could make it accessible to controller users.
  17. Next month's Plus games have leaked early. It seems that they will consist of Nioh 2 and Lego Harry Potter, as well as Heavenly Bodies, which ought to please fans of Smoky Mountain Wrestling.
  18. Either way, there's a lot of text, be it written or spoken. Most of it is from the point of view of different parts of your own mind, which is part of what makes it interesting.
  19. It's very good if you're happy to read plenty of text. I haven't played anything else quite like it.
  20. That was another episode with some dodgy lighting. I did quite enjoy it, though. I hope they stop doing deliberately dark scenes next time round, but there's always a chance that they dig their heels in and do more of them.
  21. Best performance of the season by far from just about everyone in the Forest side. Those are three points you'd never have expected them to take.
  22. I still expect Liverpool to score a few in the second half, but Forest should take some positives from their performance so far. They've made a few chances and generally defended a lot better than they have before this season.
  23. The record Premier League away win is 8-1. I can see that being threatened here.
